2016-02-10 Venus Trine Jupiter (Double Yod Key) (W07)

The DYK from Monday’s New Moon persists in a modified form.  (The Moon and Sun are no longer conjunct.  Moon has moved into Pisces, conjunct Neptune along the way and now separating.)  This means we still face the same (or similar) decisions as were presented with Monday’s NM, but the answer may not be as clear-cut now as it was then.  (New information may have presented itself, and now you may not be so sure.  But, we suspect that your original course of action is still viable.)

Here is the chart for perfection of Venus Trine Jupiter on February 10th, filtered for the Double Yod Key:

This is typically a “feel good” aspect, but this one is in Earth, so we may “feel good” in this case by accomplishing something useful at work or in our business. [Click here to read more of our interpretation of this particular day.]

Wednesday February 10th

For many people this is either a day of rest or a routine workday without disruption.  Venus trines Jupiter, and this is one of the ultimate “feel good” aspects.  You might overeat or spend too much money or overindulge in some other way.  That is the main “danger” for most people.  Sun is quincunx Jupiter, so misunderstandings might occur (double check or defer any contract that you might sign).  But, for most people, it is mostly a good day.  Enjoy if you can.

Moon in Pisces favors creatives (and most entertainers) but feels a bit like a void Moon to everyone else.  Venus Trine Jupiter brings us “luck” and may even encourage us to sign long term contracts, but the Moon does not favor this.  In the end, you must decide yourself, but Piscean Moons tend to erase long term commitments.  Sun is also quincunx Jupiter, and that votes against the temptation of the long term commitment.  Make it a “fun day” if you can, and avoid taking anything too seriously.

Venus trine Jupiter favours the accumulation of wealth, succes, good fortune and capacity to enjoy life to the fullest extent. In a birth chart, it indicates generally a philanthropic, optimistic, generous and tolerant character – but in this case, seeing that ♃ is currently in detriment and ♀ is staying in a saturnine sign, even without major disharmonic aspects, it may bring certain mental and emotional disorders, problems with the consideration of the internal /external factors and with the self-expression – often leading to overcompensation.

Though I try to stay politically neutral as much as possible, I feel I must write this short piece before too much more time passes.  I am going “out on a limb” by making an early prediction of sorts.  And, I note that this is not the “only path” for us.  But it is one that many people may come to favor.

Jeb Bush’s birthday is February 13th.  That means he is in his solar 12th house (as I write this the night before the New Hampshire primary), the weakest period for him (or anyone else in the same situation) all year long.  Soon, he will be in his strong period.

Bush’s Sun squares Algol, and Kasich’s Sun conjoins Algol.  Although I may elaborate in updates to this post, I have written about Algol elsewhere.  The ancients considered it the most malefic star in the Zodiac.  Others may be malefic, but nothing compares to Algol.

In all fairness, some amazing creatives have been associated with Algol birthdays.  George Lucas is one of them (May 13th).  But, still, it is a rather scary star.  And, I do note that Mr. Lucas has done much to help us get in touch with our “Dark Side.”

My nickname for Bush / Kasich is the “Algol Twins.”  Do not be surprised to see them suddenly surge ahead and share a ticket in November.  And, if they do, it will be “business as usual” as under any other Bush administration regardless of any promises they might make at this time.

If they do come to power (either individual or both together), expect to see harsh solutions.

We note that a number of disasters occurred in 2010 (when Moon was conjunct Algol at the time of the Vernal Equinox) including (1) Upper Big Branch Mine disaster and (2) the Deepwater Horizon explosion.  A number of air disasters and plane crashes also made the news.
