We have come through a lot. Time to enjoy (TAURUS) our settling in a new foundation – which has only been possible through the deep change, in the last while.

By ‘last while’ I mean even the fact that we had a 3 year ‘anniversary’ since SATURN entered SCORPIO, on Oct 6, 2012, and catalyzed PLUTO in CAP (they were in ‘mutual reception’ until SATURN left SCO on Sept 17, 2015), initiating for many of us the deepest changes in our lives. Tuesday we celebrate the full Moon in Taurus. At 8:05am on Tuesday morning, the Moon will reach his exact Opposition to the Sun at 3:45 Taurus. The Sun is at 3:45 Scorpio. The Sun and Moon are our 2 luminaries. They show us our personal identity and ego (Sun) and our feelings and intuition (Moon). They are our public (Sun) and private (Moon) sides. When they are in Opposition, we see a contrast between what we are creating (Sun) and how we feel (Moon) about it. This is the halfway point of a monthly cycle, typically. Venus has been prevalent in the skies over the last couple of months. It began with Venus retrograde in Leo (the end of July – early September) and continued on with Mercury retrograde (mid-September – early October) in Venus ruled Libra. Then Venus entered Virgo, changing up the pace and allowing us to move beyond the ties to the retrogrades. Shortly after, we experienced the Libra New Moon (second week of October) which likely continued to place emphasis on our relationships. Over the hump of the retrogrades, the Libra new moon signified new beginnings and ways of being, and a greater sense of emotional balance.

Soon, we are to experience a different more earthy side of Venus, as the Sun and Moon make their monthly opposition, giving way to the Taurus full moon, on October 27.
