Full Moon 2021-03-28 (Libra Moon opposite Aries Sun)
This is the first full moon after the Vernal Equinox, and it precedes Easter on April 5, 2021.
This FM has interesting activity:
- Hard Rectangle : like a Thor’s Hammer, tempers flare BUT an amazing amount of work can be accomplished if the energy can be focused into accomplishment
- Yod : We each face a decision of some kind, individually (based on your chart) and collectively (because of the Hele); it is a difficult decision, and it risks upsets or accidents or ambushes or wrong decisions (given the Hard Rectangle) that lead to conflict (fights, battles, wars); The Moon is at apex of the yod (the “focal” energy) with Uranus (surprises, electrical shocks, explosions, ambushes, sometimes brilliant mental insight and solutions) on one leg and asteroid Pallas (also brilliant mental insight and solutions but they tend to be “military” in nature given that Pallas sprang fully formed and armored from the head of her father (Zeus / Jupiter / Thor, depending on whose pantheon you have adopted). Both solutions are “close” and similar but NOT the same. Though Solar Fire did not read it this way, this is a FOCUSED Yod with the Moon at Apex and Sun / Chiron / Venus conjunct at the Focal Point (and opposite the Moon). *IF* properly focused, again, you can accomplish MUCH, some of it of a breakthrough nature.
- Kite or “Kite Almost” : opportunities are present; this is “luck” for some
- Hele : in some form these have been present for weeks; it is all about politics and political alignments; cohesion within parties is strong; conflict is public; expect our current messes to WORSEN rather than needed fixes be applied
- Grand Trines : the aspect for which this blog is named; these tend to make for “easy” times but the Hard Rectangle will override that; in that case, again, these can be “luck” if the energy of the times is properly focused; (look for opportunities; they WILL be present!)
- T-Squares : T-Squares seem to always be present; these are associated at least in part with recent the recent Grand Cross and associated tragedies; a push will exist to “get things done” but the question becomes : “what does that mean?” Wrong solutions are tempting if they are “easy.”(Don’t take “the easy way out.” Work through your own issues instead of expecting a scapegoat.)

Vernal Equinox 2017 (The First Day of Spring) Grand Cross

Vernal Equinox 2017 (The First Day of Spring) Grand Cross
[As we frequently do, we are likely to tune and update this post through the time of the perfection of the equinox. Therefore, you might want to check back.]
The Vernal Equinox of 2017 has a Grand Cross pattern in it if you use certain asteroids (and a T-Square otherwise):
We omit the T-Square variant (which is identical)
A rather peculiar Grand Trine is present (if you are willing to use asteroids and the nodes):
The 5th Harmonic variant shows significant activity but no patterns of note:
Our interpretation is that you might have some bright ideas, some particularly useful ones, but this is not a peak time of creativity. (Nevertheless, opportunities are present if you are a “creative” that you should harness.)
We do see a triangular pattern present in the Septiles, and we believe that this means that this is a good time to help others less fortunate than yourself without expectations of any returns. You may obtain an important glimpse of the future in the process of giving.

Although a horary format is not technically appropriate for such an event, we present it anyway for the useful information that can be used in other ways. One way I like to use it is to reverse engineer: what question would I be asking if I saw a chart like this?
In this case, the question is something like this: “Can I trust the opinion of my friends about my money/new job?” The answer is, succinctly, NO! The Moon is peregrine (thieves, not trustworthy) in the 11th house of Friends and conjunct Saturn; both are at 27 degrees. The last three degrees of anything are often “fate” and frequently void and generally unfavorable. And as many as six (or more) are operating together to steer you in the wrong direction. This is one time to NOT follow the “wisdom of crowds.” Keep your own counsel!
But the Sun is at 0 degrees (of course!) in the 2nd house of Money, so we do not get a “real answer” about the money / job just yet. It will come soon enough, maybe in a few days or possibly up to three weeks (after Mercury goes Retrograde and some misplaced message is found or vice versa). Just persist, and as much as possible keep your plans to yourself.
This is just my interpretation, and surely others would read it differently. (This is why I encourage checking a number of oracles / opinions.)
We now present the maps. These are NOT the kind of detailed astrological maps that Kepler provides (or Solar Fire can provide with the “right” options set), but instead the more general maps. We start with the United States map:

Noting the triple crossing in Canada, a few hundred miles north of Burlington VT, we think something interesting might happen there.
Here is the UK map:

Full Moon February 2017 (Lunar Eclipse: Leo Moon + Aquarius Sun)
Headline: In addition to being a Full Moon and Eclipse with a comet (!), this FM has a complex set of patterns, some relatively rare, that bring important opportunities that can be realized if you make the right decisions and form the right alliances. Additionally, a thief is lurking (might be a time waster or maybe an ACTUAL thief), so be careful!
A few months have past since our last “real” astrology post (other than something I started on Lost Dudeist involving an old cold case murder), and we are overdue to put some of our own work up. This FM is interesting, with the Moon near the important fixed star of Regulus (i.e. the “Regulator” and associated with kings and royalty and sometimes downfalls) as well as a number of patterns. We will focus mainly on the charts, as we have done the past few years, with only minimal commentary (encouraging our readers, instead, to comment). Names for this moon abound. “Snow Moon” is most popular, but we like “Werewolf Moon” best! 🙂
For other forecasts (reblogs), try our Posts Page.
Basic Chart, Inner Planets, and Outer Planets
First, we have a basic chart of the FM using tight orbs (eliminating all but the strongest aspects) and a new custom layout that we designed today:
The aspect grid and mid-point trees here focus specifically on the strongest and most influential aspects. Others have analyzed this FM extensively, and I really have little new to offer except my (usual) analysis of patterns and some discussion of mid-points as well as various items that catch my eye (though they have been mentioned by others).
In addition to the proximity of the Moon to Regulus (bringing up issues of power and control as well as risk of loss related to “revenge”), we note that the moon is apply to an (out of sign) conjunction to the North Node in Virgo. This is important for any of several reasons (such as the Nodes being the critical ingredient in all eclipses) but we note that when that aspect perfects (Moon conjunct North Node in Virgo) a bit later that a powerful earth trine will be activated (making it possible to turn opportunities seized with the FM into money or material goods or benefits).
We present next the same chart (all of these are the same), but in a different format and filtered for inner planets (and Mars). This version of the chart (and these aspects) speak to individual issues more than collective issues and, depending on our individual natal charts (or maybe those close to us) how this FM will affect us in a very direct way:
If you are paying attention (we hope you are if you are reading this), then you will note two things. The first, and most compelling, is that Mars forms a triangular relationship (similar to a T-Square, but (as far as I know) an as yet unnamed pattern) with Moon / Sun in opposition (that DEFINES a Full Moon!) and Mars forming a sesquiquadrate (135 degrees) to Moon and a semi-square (45 degrees) to the Sun. Both aspects tend to be “irritating,” Mars is all about action (often physical) and can be prone to violence, and this set of aspects will spur you to “get things done” *IF* you can avoid becoming mired in conflicts.
The second aspect is more subtle, with Mercury sextile Venus. Really, the aspect is not the issue. The issue is that Mercury is “peregrine” (an horary term, and one of the few of those we use from time to time), and that makes Mercury a “thief” in this chart. Incessant chatter and nuisance events related to transportation and communication can steal your opportunity from you. Do not let that happen!
Here is the same chart, but filtered for the outers including Chiron, Major Asteroids (Pallas, Ceres, Vesta, and Juno), the additional two we always use (Hygeia, healthcare, and Astraea, law) along with the additions of Sedna, Selena, and Eris. We also have the calculated point Black Moon (Lilith).
The outers tend to affect us collectively, and as individuals we look to them to see how we “fit in” with the larger groups around us as well as what the larger collective is “working through.” The larger T-Square (Uranus (and Eris, the troublemaker), Vesta, and Jupiter) is part of a looser Grand Cross (adding in Pluto in Capricorn). The Uranus / Pluto squares since 2012 (arguably 2011) have been discussed extensively in their role in the financial meltdown of 2008 (the year Pluto (death and major transformation) entered Capricorn (banking and finance and large corporations)) through the “Arab Spring” and other Middle Eastern wars and violence up to, and including, the current events in the Middle East as well as the political climate here in the United States.
T-Square / Grand Cross
Beyond this summary, we will not duplicate those discussion except to note that Jupiter (Libra) ALWAYS acts as an “amplifier” of anything he touches, and Vesta brings in issues of traditions (and loyalty, probably especially military traditions if we followed our hunch on this). Grand crosses bring SOME things to a HALT and launch other things into rapid motion. This is another “irritating” pattern (similar to the Sun / Moon / Mars pattern previously discussed), but it is huge and affects many people and will extend particularly long after the eclipse (at least 18 months if we were to guess but maybe further). Expect the fights we have been having to escalate, particularly if they involve traditions (and anyone who “serves,” i.e. military, police, nurses, and similar).
Huber Learning Triangle
We add that in addition to the T-Square / Grand Cross, a “Huber Learning Triangle” is present that includes Vesta (traditions and service), Chiron (education, healthcare, and mentors) and Jupiter (law, higher education, sometimes health, and foreign travel / ambassadors; higher thought and sometime philanderers). Composed of a trine (easy and straightforward), a quincunx (a confusing and messy misunderstanding) and a square (an avoidable and irritating demand for action), this outer planet / asteroid Huber affects all of us and says that everyone (liberal, conservative, democrat, republican, libertarian, and “other”) is partially right (the trine), partially out of touch with reality (the quincunx) and feeling compelled to “do something about it” (the square). This kind of pattern may also apply in other areas of your life.
Resolutions require that the misunderstandings be addressed if they can be. (We think this involves people who serve (military & police & firefighters & nurses & similar), their education & healthcare benefits, and a real need for resolution (maybe legal and maybe in some other Jupiter area).
Please do note that both of these major patterns are interlaced and contain Jupiter / Vesta on one of their legs. (Making “people who serve” and the legal system almost a certainty.)
With that, we examine the patterns in play, which are powerful and interesting (and some tend to be rare). Since they are numerous, we will list them first (in order of consideration):
- Mystic Rectangle
- Kites (Kite Key) and associated Grand Trines
- Heles (Hele Key)
- Rosetta
- Yods
Mystic Rectangle, Kites, and Grand Trines
These three sets of patterns should be considered together Kites are considered rare, and Mystic Rectangles even more so. Sometimes I see a fifth point in the Mystic Rectangle pattern which creates an interlaced pair of kites that I call a “Kite Key” (taking the name from “Double Yod Key” and similar patterns). The Mystic Rectangle shows up in interesting places and people. For example, Hillary Clinton’s natal chart has one and it is rather pronounced. Kites always contain at least one Grand Trine, and several are present here (particularly a Fire Grand Trine composed of Uranus (Aries), Moon (Leo), and Saturn (Sagittarius)). As we mentioned earlier, after the Moon moves into Virgo it will form (amplify, really) an Earth Grand Trine when it perfects the conjunction to the North Node.
Here is the same chart, but filtered for the Mystic Rectangle:
Moon, Jupiter, Uranus, and the Sun form this MR, and this is a “lotto ticket winner” pattern. You may not win the “actual” lotto, but a huge opportunity is facing you (if you can avoid Mercury the thief, mentioned earlier). (Do keep in mind that, with some people, Mercury might be an ACTUAL thief. I have actually seen that happen when I saw a cash box stolen from a charity dance by a “snatch and grab” thief when Moon in Gemini (Mercury’s home) became angular. As a young budding astrologer, this was an AMAZING event to witness! The money was never recovered….) An opportunity faces you, no doubt, but do act with SOME prudence!
Kites
The kite key (interlaced kites) formed from the MR confirm this:
We will note that the three bodies of Hygeia (health and healthcare), Saturn (aging, bones, test, trials, and tribulations) and Astraea (law, lawyers, judges, and the legal system) form the apex (“additional planet”) in this kite key. So, your opportunity may involve either health / healthcare or aging or bones or the law / legal system in some way. (All three could be involved, as in an elderly person who is injured by some Mercurial peregrine young person and from the damage to their health a lawsuit and maybe criminal action results. Bad news for the person who cause the harm in their fit of Sun / Moon / Mars temper. Do not be the person with the temper! You are smart enough to read this, so you should know better!)
Grand Trines
Here is the same chart, but filtered to reveal the Grand Trines:
To some degree, these patterns of opportunity are about personal decisions that may or may not directly involve others.
Hele (Key), Rosetta, and Yods: Issues of Allegiance and Decisions
In contrast to the previous group of patterns, the Hele / Rosetta / Yod group in this eclipse necessarily involve others (except MAYBE the Yods). We also have interlaced Hele patterns (two) which we call a “Hele Key” and these emphasize the importance of forming stable long term alliances. The Rosetta, on the other hand, is about short term alliances and can lead later to treachery and betrayal. “Picking the right friends” is everything at this moment, and the pair of Yods (not quite a “double yod key” but VERY similar to that pattern) are about (a minimum of) two decisions involving alliances, friends, non-friends (enemies?), decisions, and what action to take (or avoid).
Hele Key
We present, first, the same Eclipse chart, filtered for the Hele pattern (and revealing the Hele key):
The “common leg” in these two interlaced Hele patterns (aka the “Hele Key”) is a Vesta / Chiron trine. A stable relationship between Vesta in Cancer (traditions and service in the water sign associated with families and children and oceans and family outings at the beach) and Chiron (mentors, education, healthcare, and attempting to heal the deep wound that never seems to quite heal fully). This might be a good weekend to NOT take your children (Cancerian) to any place where they could drown (a Chironic wound that could never be healed). For others, the issues are about, on one hand, service and family, and, on the other hand, dealing with painful issues that may never resolved. If you are lucky, this could be a healthcare issue that can be resolved (for now) or an education issue (that can be completed and finished). In any case, it is really all about your alliances and the friends you pick.
If we had to make a recommendation (and that is risky!), we would recommend males tend to opt for “college professor” (or lawyer) type friends (or maybe military) and females opt for someone Saturnine (could be an older adult or some other “authority figure”).
Rosetta
Every garden must have a snake, no doubt. In this garden, or chart, the Rosetta is the set of relationships that might can “get things done” rather quickly, but which may turn on you in some form of treachery at some later point.
Here is the chart:
Curiously, the same Vesta / Chiron trine forms the backbone of this Rosetta.
Yods: Decisions
This chart contains a pair of Yods, and in astrology a pair almost always means “two or more.” You can also think of it as “at least two” major decisions. Here is the chart:
One decision involves “fate” (North Node) or “hard work” (OR BOTH) and a choice between Venus (love, beauty, harmony, and maybe money & finances; also: this looks like Venus AND Mars!) and Mercury (communications, transportation, and the aforementioned thief). Each has their advantage, and as an astrologer it is my duty to tell you that each path has its advantages and disadvantages, but we lean toward the Venus path over the Mercury path in this case. (Why? Because Mercury is peregrine, or a thief, here. If you are a criminal, then maybe that is your path, but not for the rest of us.)
The other decision involves a Chironic issue (education, healthcare, or mentor(s)) and a choice between a very strong Leo Moon (likely a strong female) and Libran (but Retrograde) Jupiter. That is a tougher choice, but we ever so slightly favor the Leo Moon. (Why? It is VERY strong in this eclipse, AND Jupiter is retrograde). In the end, only you can decide.

That is it for our forecast, but we are going to include some maps this time. (We have not done that since 2015.) No commentary for the maps; you are own your own in your analysis of them using what we have given you from the charts. Also, for those interested in “Cosmobiology” and midpoint analysis, we are including midpoint trees and modulus sort strips.

Mars Conjunct Pluto 2016-10-19
You have been feeling this building. Solar Fire shows this aspect, perfecting October 19th, to be in effect during this window:

We start with the 7th harmonic filtering of the chart rather than finishing with it. This is the pattern that can give us some hope during what may be a difficult time for many people.
We see a triangular 7th harmonic (septiles!) pattern involving Mars/Pluto, Juno (trust), and Ceres (prosperity). In an ordinary and “low” form, this is females (primarily) deciding to go on extreme diets prior to the holidays. It is not healthy, and we hope that not so many people will do this. Don’t take that path.
In a higher form, this is about trust and prosperity and picking your friends carefully. The Hele pattern that is also present confirms that the choices of friends and allies made at this time is particularly important.
Here is the chart, filtered for 7th harmonic (septile) aspects:

Here is the Hele, a signal to pick your allies carefully at this time:
The remainder of the patterns are hard, except for a single Grand Trine pattern. We start with a Grand Cross formed from Moon opposite Saturn (also very “tough”!) both square to the Nodes (Karma):
Note that some astrologers will not consider this a “Grand Cross” because the nodes are “points” rather than “planets.” Vedic astrologers, though, do treat the Nodes as planets. (For purposes of patterns, I agree.)
A Hard Rectangle is also present:
We also have TWO Thor’s Hammer patterns present[Click Image to Enlarge]
Thor’s Hammers (God’s Fist) are associated with people, places, and things going BOOM! So are Hard Rectangles. Grand Crosses (the equivalent of four T-Squares overlapping) can be also. It is all very difficult, and it is associated with Mars (violence, war) conjunct Pluto (the higher octave of Mars and police, intelligence agencies, drugs, poisons, and death by assassination).
We do have one more bright spot: a Grand Trine (Grand Air Trine: Sun in Libra, Pallas in Aquarius, and Moon in Gemini) and this is very good for generating ideas and communications. Avoid resorting to violence; talk it out if at all possible!

Next, we have the United States map for perfection of this aspect:

Finally, we present a list of occurrences of Mars conjunct Pluto:

Solar Eclipse of September 1st 2016

Solar Eclipse of September 1st 2016
This particular eclipse is personal for reasons I do not wish to disclose on the open internet. I thought about NOT writing about it and just leaving the 2016 New Moons page and the writings of others (reblogs) as my proxy.
But, I changed my mind. And then I found a body of work I had produced on this eclipse a few weeks ago. No written work, mind you, but chart graphics from the time when I developed my analysis of the rather important Grand Quintile of August 28th. That confirmed for me that I needed to put up what I had done in a post.
This Grand Quintile period we are in, from August 28th until September 11th, is particularly rare. If you check the Grand Quintiles from 1800 to 2050 page, you will find most of them last a few hours or a day. Exceptions exist, such as in 1809 and 1810, but they are just that: exceptions. So is this current window.
This Solar Eclipse, a special type of New Moon, is a punctuation mark in this window. It also corresponds to an Eclipse in September of 1997, which was an extremely important period for me personally. I am left wondering what this one will bring me.
First, let us take a peek at the Kite pattern that is present. Kites are not extremely rare, but they are not particularly common either. This one has the Eclipse, itself, at the focal point and Neptune in opposition (and Neptune is part of the Grand Trine that forms the body of the kite). (Kites are always, inherently, built from Grand Trines, the pattern that is the namesake of this blog (and my internet alter ego).) Some of us, likely many of us, are facing one of the most important opportunities of our lives. We are at one of the most important junctures in our individual and collective lives. The decisions, and followup actions, that we make (or not) are critically important to the results that manifest (or fail to manifest) consequently. Negligence is a profound danger here.
Here is the chart of the Eclipse, filtered for that Kite pattern:

Juno and Vesta (both major asteroids) form the other points of the Grand Trine. Juno brings issues of trust and intimacy to the forefront, particularly as they involve wives, sisters, mothers, and other female family members. Vesta is about traditions and whether or not we follow and honor them or create new ones when old ones no longer serve us.
Here is the same chart, filtered for the Grand Trine instead of the Kite:

We note that the opposition of the Eclipse to Neptune has not yet quite perfected, but will perfect soon with the annual opposition of Sun to Neptune on Friday. Friday’s opposition has a Thor’s Hammer (energy, often in the form of violence or explosions) and a Yod (insisting that an important decision must be made). You will have to make a decision in this period, and something or someone from the past (Mercury Retrograde) will be part of that decision.
This Eclipse also has a Thor’s Hammer (aka God’s Fist) present with all the “energy” (and DANGER!) that brings. (Do be careful!)

We also note the presence of a Rosetta; we interpret that pattern as indicative of the important of short-term alliances and relationships. Treachery is a very real possibility, and people (including major politicians) are likely to shift their positions and allegiances at this time.

T-Squares are present and amplify the energy (and danger) of the Thor’s Hammer:

This next point is particularly important: please note there are TWO independent sets of T-Squares. This makes “handling” the sources of “irritation” difficult and more likely impossible. We would not be surprised at all to hear about someone or something “blowing up” (or a mass shooting) in the next few days. Since the Eclipse really consumes nearly the entirety of the African continent, we would not be surprised to see the event there.
Here are the Seventh Harmonic or “karmic” aspects:

We note the presence of a triangular pattern of septiles composed of a septile, biseptile, and triseptile. Chiron, Saturn, and Astraea are involved. We would not be surprised to learn of a major lawsuit (or similar legal system involvement) involving either educational or healthcare systems (or both). Frankly, we think there will be “hell to pay.”
We will stop there, but we cannot emphasize strongly enough just how important this window of opportunity is. After September 11th, most of it closes. All will be gone by Mercury Direct Station and the Autumnal Equinox. By then, “the concrete will have set.”
Some useful links:
Only a handful of New Moons have a Grand Quintile during the period from 1800 to 2050 (and Solar Fire did not count this NM as one of them though we argue that it is):

Full Moon August 18th 2016: Danger and Opportunity

Full Moon August 18th 2016: Danger and Opportunity
We see both danger and opportunity in this Leo / Aquarius Full Moon. With Sun at 25 degrees Leo and Moon at 25 Aquarius, both are square to Algol in Taurus. That alone would be enough to give pause. But, a pronounced Thor’s Hammer pattern is present, and that is present with anger and temper and people, places, and things that go Boom!
Here is the FM chart, filtered for the Thor’s Hammer pattern:
A Rosetta pattern is present, telling us that we will need to make allegiances but they will tend to be short-lived and may turn to treachery:
We often ignore T-Squares in our analysis, but a number are present and some of this has figured in a major way in events this summer starting in May / June. Here is the same FM chart but filtered for T-Squares:
Please do note that Mars, in Sagittarius, is square the Nodes in Virgo / Pisces (the Nodes are sometimes called “Rahu” and “Ketu” by Vedic astrologers). This brings an especially “karmic” or fated feel to any violence that occurs at this time. And, by this FM, at least some of the violence will have manifested leading this to be a time of sorrow and weeping for many.
Opportunity is present and signaled by Grand Trines that connect to the South Node / Neptune:

We note that, while a true Kite is not present, signalling a strong opportunity, we have what has been called an “almost Kite” completed by Pluto. Since Pluto is at the apex, we expect the “opportunity” to deal with death, police, intelligence agencies, or financial institutions (or some mix of those).

Finally, the presence of a Yod signals that an important decision must be made. We choose one path or the other and should never look back. If we look back, we will only see the rosy picture of the other path and not the hidden dangers that peppered that choice.

Gemini New Moon 2016-06-04 (Grand Cross, Grand Trine, and Rosetta)

Gemini New Moon 2016-06-04 (Grand Cross, Grand Trine, and Rosetta)
We are writing this post a few hours in hindsight, a bit more than four hours after perfection. We note that the annual Sun Square Jupiter aspect perfected earlier today. (We will minimize duplication of the commentary on the earlier aspect.)
This is a dynamic New Moon (NM) and an important one, and much has been written by others because of the presence of a Grand Cross (GC). This is a longer term GC which involves outer planets (notably Saturn, Neptune, and Jupiter), but the NM itself is (1) conjunct Venus and (2) forms the fourth leg of the GC. Grand Crosses are relatively rare even when using asteroids (Chiron, Juno, Pallas, Vesta, and Ceres as well as others such as Hygeia and Astraea) or calculated points (North Node, South Node, Vertex, and so forth). But this GC uses “real” planets, and that, by itself, is enough to make it a popular subject of discussion, interpretation, and speculation.
Maybe even more notable is that it is a mutable GC, and these invariably signify endings of some kind. With a NM near the end of the Mecury Retrograde shadow, after the Direct Station, all are seeking to move forward and launch new projects. AND you *CAN* do that, but these projects are more in the order of reaping what you have sewn. Think of these projects as specifically being built on the past and what you have accomplished (or failed to accomplish). This is your window to take stock and act accordingly.
And, on the outside chance you are uncertain about that, let me be clear: the upcoming Full Moon has a CARDINAL Grand Cross in it, and, oddly, that is about beginnings. It tells us that the “cleanup period” between that Full Moon and the next New Moon is all about launching truly new projects. (I am NOT saying you should launch during a waning moon. I AM saying it is time you consider the option of COMPLETELY starting your life from the ground up and, absent that, questioning every assumption in your life about how things “have to be” with an eye to junking what is not working for you any more and doing things that are TRULY NEW in the most fundamental way possible. This is your chance to TRULY change the train you are on.)
Whether all of us realize it or not, we are undergoing a large scale shift that is operating in many areas of our lives. The current state of affairs of the United States Presidential election reflects that. People feel strongly. I will avoid becoming too political here, as I ordinarily avoid that, but many people object to the political system as it stands, and I mean many conservative people object as well as the more obvious liberal objections seeking “change.” But what we see as election politics reflects deeper and more profound problems and issues. And, they are not just in the United States. This is a global phenomenon.
The late Jonathon Cainer, an astrologer whose work I followed, wrote of this a number of times when he spoke of the “bell” (Uranus Square Pluto) that would “toll seven times.” Cainer was both a poet and a giant (as well as a bit of a character), and his voice will be missed. (But we are happy that Oscar appears to be carrying the torch now.) Jonathon Cainer stressed the point repeatedly: Uranus Square Pluto will bring HUGE global changes beyond anything we have seen (at least in recent generations if “ever”). I agree.
By itself, that would be enough, and nothing more need be said. But the fact is that we have an amazing series of patterns coming in the next few months starting now (and with the upcoming Full Moon). Those of you who are astrologers know what I am talking about. I see more of you writing about patterns this year, and I strongly suspect at least some of you have looked at certain pages I put up in late 2015, such as Rare and Absent Patterns in 2016 and, more generally, the 2016 Overview. Whether or not you are an astrologer, if you like to do advanced planning to organize your life, then I suspect you should peek at those pages.
We also recommend you compare the Gemini New Moon of 2015 (last year) and the Taurus New MooooN of a month ago. And by “compare,” I do not mean just peek at my pages. Pull out your journal (you know the one, the one I recommend you keep, and, yes, I am chastising you like your mother would if you are not doing it, especially after telling you about FutureMe) and compare this month to last month, this month this year to this month last year. You reap what you sew, but there MUST be some opportunity there. This New Moon tells us that. You must have “eyes to see.”
That said, and keeping in mind just how powerful the upcoming Full Moon / Solstice will be, we present the chart for the Gemini New Moon of 2016 with the Mutable Grand Cross (MGC):
In case you were not already aware, an AMAZING number of squares are present in this chart. Children born at this time will be nothing short of revolutionary. I knew a woman, deceased within the past few months, who was born with a similar birth chart. She was the most gifted numerologist I ever met (I confess, I simply have NO idea how Numerology works, but she was completely accurate), and she had a greater ability to anger people (most people, even delicate ones, said “p*ss off” people) than almost anyone else I knew. She made people ANGRY with her criticism! I tolerated her barbs because I really liked her (and I knew she liked me), but most did not. Nevertheless, she was a very prosperous businesswoman here in Dallas, and all those squares left an impression on me. (And, at least from my vantage point, she will be missed. I liked her.) This chart looks like that, but maybe even MORE squares than she had!
Interpret that however you choose. As mentioned earlier, many others have written interpretations of this:

BUT, we would like to add that the Grand Cross is NOT the only pattern in this chart. It is clearly the most striking of the patterns, but it is NOT the ONLY pattern. We also have a Grand Earth Trine (opportunity!) and a Rosetta (alliances, but typically short-lived and a risk of treachery later). We present the chart for the Grand Earth Trine (Pluto, Jupiter, Mercury) first. We also note that Grand Water Trines are associated with the opportunity to make quite a bit of money, but we think this Grand Earth Trine (with Jupiter and Pluto involved) has that same ability, maybe even more so. The next two weeks could be a rather large “money maker” for those with “eyes to see.” Here is the chart:
Please do note that the North Node is involved in this Grand Trine, also, and that is all about “Karma” (again, reaping what you have sewn) as well as “hard work.”
Finally, we have the Rosetta. Let us be clear: a Rosetta can accomplish a huge amount of work in a short time. But the relationships are short-lived, and the potential for treachery exists. We also note that one leg of the Grand Earth Trine is embedded in this Rosetta. Here is the chart:
The next two weeks will gave gotcha and glitches associated with the Grand Cross. And you can focus on those, or you can focus on the opportunity that will come to you. The choice is yours.
2016-05 W20: Forecasts for Week 20 of 2016
May 19, 2016 at 5:46 pm | Posted in 2016, Astrology, Holidays, Predictions | 2 CommentsTags: 2016, 2016-05, 2016-W20, annual, Astrology, Grand Cross, Grand Earth Trine, Grand Trine, Grand Trines, Holidays, Jupiter, Jupiter Direct, Mothers Day, Predictions, Trine Jupiter, Venus, Venus Trine, Venus Trine Jupiter, W20
2016-05 W20: Forecasts for Week 20 of 2016
We are in the middle of May as well as a series of retrogrades including Mercury Retrograde, and “things” are likely to be interesting until at least after May 22nd (arguably later because of the other retrogrades in play also). (Clarissa has written a great piece on the Mercury Retrograde. And you can find more about these periods for the rest of the year here. This page may also be useful.) The Taurus New Moooon perfected on May 6th, and we will have a Sagittarius Moon / Gemini Sun on May 21st (a day after Sun moves into Gemini). Let’s be clear: for better or worse, “things” will change with that lunation and the accompanying Mercury direct station.
School is out, and has been out, for most students, and that particular weekend (May 21/22) marks the true beginning of “summer” for anyone who follows the academic year. But astrological summer, the official beginning of “summer,” does not begin until the Summer Solstice on June 20th (which also has another full moon). The retrograde station of Chiron on June 27th and direct station of Mars on June 29th will mark another significant shift. We will cover these events in more detail as they near, but keep in mind these critical dates as you set plans for vacations, trips, meetings, and so forth.
Some time in the next few days we will delete the older May predictions and add newer ones, so please do check back. We are not gone, but we are not checking in EVERY day, either.
One final note: we know that the “Live Traffic Feed” in the sidebar is not working correctly, but the problem is not on our end. We want to give the provider at least a few more weeks before we remove it altogether. It has been with us since the beginning (2008), and we hate to remove it. (But, if it continues to be broken, then we will be forced to do the inevitable.)
May 8th
Today is Mothers Day, and a (very loose) Grand Cross is arguably in play. “Things” may be a bit weird with some “things” grinding to a halt (“full stop!”), and others suddenly becoming ready for launch. Look beyond the chaos for the opportunity, and launch whatever needs to be launched today. That could include being kind / helpful / generous to your mother / someone else’s mother / a woman who wishes she had been someone’s mother or someone similar. Look beyond the obvious for the opportunity to be a decent human being worthy of having had someone to care for you when you could not care for yourself.
May 9th
Jupiter stations direct today. Some of you have been feeling this for a few days or maybe longer. You really feel it if you, or someone close to you, is clergy (or a particularly spiritual person), a lawyer or otherwise involved with the legal system, or someone who works in higher education (or someone who once worked in one of those systems, including those who are retired or disabled).
Jupiter is associated with centaurs and kindness to animals can be a good idea today. Consider watching Earthlings if you have never developed a sense of decency or kindness towards animals. (Warning: “Earthlings” is not for the faint of heart. It can be very difficult to watch!)
May 10th
Venus (Taurus) trines Jupiter (Virgo) today, and the Moon is very active. Retrograde Mercury (Taurus) also trines the North Node (Virgo), and the outer planets are quiet. Given the consideration that five planets are retrograde, much can be accomplished today particularly short term objectives that may be part of resurrected projects from the past. Most people tend to benefit from today although earth signs (and water) tend to benefit the most. This is likely the best “get things done” day of the week and maybe the entire Mercury Retrograde period.
May 11th
Most of the work day in the Western Hemisphere is void, and Venus Quincunx Saturn clearly marks that yesterday’s window of opportunity has closed and this is mostly an “off day” for most people. Jim Shawvan marks this particular lunar void as an “opportunity period,” but we still think it is a risky period. Avoid major commitments today if at all possible and stick to routine.
Hygeia stations direct, and issues involving health and healthcare will come to the forefront for some people. Also, Mars sesquiquadrate Uranus in early hours tomorrow makes both today and tomorrow potentially dangerous. Do not do anything rash in traffic, and avoid saying words that you may not be able to take back later.
May 12th
Today is a mixed bag but more good than bad and certainly better than yesterday. Today is not as good as Tuesday but much better than yesterday. Retrograde Mercury (Taurus) trines Pluto (Capricorn) and something comes back to us. This could be an old project or it could be a lost (and important) object. Quadrinoviles involving Vesta (bright ideas but typically more for police / military) are present this evening.
Write down those fleeting ideas and know that they can be useful later, possibly as the planets move direct. Late evening has annoyances, and new parents may have a baby that cannot be consoled. With yesterday’s Hygeia station consider healthcare for the young one if any doubt whatsoever exists regarding their status.
Mars sesquiquadrate Uranus in early hours makes both yesterday and today potentially dangerous. Do not do anything rash in traffic, and avoid saying words that you may not be able to take back later.
May 13th
Retrograde Mercury and Venus join and later Venus trines Pluto. This is all mostly benevolent, but a lunar void tells us to stick to routine after noon. Previously planned events (and dates) may not work out. Your date this evening might be a “no show.” Try not to be too angry as this may have involved events beyond the control of the other person. Stick to routine if you can, and have fun with whomever is present.
May 14th
Early morning hours are tainted by a lunar square to Mars which is wonderful for athletes and can be good for police officers but is miserable for most of the rest of us. It is short term and will pass. Sun sextile Chiron dominates the day bringing up issues involving healthcare, teaching, and mentors. While all of those will not apply to you, likely one of them will apply. Today and tomorrow the mutable T-Square we have been discussing (refer to our New Moon analysis) is activated by Moon in Virgo. Expect irritations and channel that energy into useful accomplishment.

2016-04-06 Sun Square Pluto (Hele + Grand Trines + TH)
This repeats in two versions, each once a year. The other one will be in October, and both will repeat in April and October for the next few years. Sun Square Pluto is about power and power struggles. On a personal basis, chances are good you will see conflict, and you may see violence (including the use of lethal force). Police and intelligence agencies tend to be activated at this time, and death and taxes are issues, too. This particular aspect has a Hele (issues regarding long term alliances), Grand Trines, and a Thor’s Hammer. We present the chart filtered for the Hele:

2016-03-20 Venus Conjunct Neptune (Pisces)
We will not do a “deep dive” here on this aspect since (1) others have covered it in depth and (2) it occurs on the day of the Vernal Equinox of 2016. (Duplicating our analysis is uncessary.) We find four patterns (1) a Grand Fire Trine (which several others have mentioned); (2) a Yod (decision) that has been ongoing; (3) a Hele that is longer term and discussed on the Vernal Equinox page (and elsewhere); and (4) a Square Key that is longer term and discussed on the Vernal Equinox page (and elsewhere).
You may also want to compare what is happening in your life today to what happened with Venus Sextile Neptune (in January of 2016) and Venus Opposite Neptune (October 16, 2015).
That said, we present the perfection of Venus conjunct Neptune (Pisces) filtered for the Grand Fire Trine:

Given the spiritual / meditative quality of this aspect, and the high energy quality of a Grand Fire Trine, we recommend some form of “moving mediation” such as walking a labyrinth or maybe a bike ride on a bike path in a park or something similar. Pictures and video are a good idea at this time, and “creatives” (poets, writers, photographers, and videographers) can produce “break through” work today.
An ongoing Yod requires a decision of us:

A Hele, an ongoing pattern, requires us to check our allegiances and who we wish to have as allies on a long term basis:

Finally, a Square Key (another longer term / ongoing pattern) tells us we may encounter lessons disguised as “annoyances.” Pay attention and learn from them.

As much as possible, enjoy the day. It is the first day of Spring.

Jupiter Trine Pluto 2016-03-16
First, we encourage you to review the upcoming perfection of Jupiter Square Saturn. Second, we encourage you to review Jupiter Trine Pluto 2015-10-11 and review your notes from that time period.
Next, we note we are discussing Jupiter trine Pluto, and we need to point out that this is a LONG TERM ASPECT. If you are in the habit of checking the newspaper or website for your “forecast today,” a fortune cookie of sorts, then you likely will NOT understand this. This REQUIRES a long-term point of view.

Notice that this aspect (Jupiter Trine Pluto) has been in play since January 23rd, will perfect again June 26th without losing any influence, and move out of influence July 29th. It will come into influence again shortly before the election and continue past the United States Presidential Inauguration in 2017.
What does this configuration mean? For some people, it brings tremendous opportunity, particularly when any planet (notably Moon or Sun) enters Taurus during this window to for a Grand Earth Trine (this happens several times, notably a period in late April / early May). We also note that Jupiter Square Saturn may bring some shakeups, particularly in the financial markets, and we will see both “big winners” and “big losers” emerge from this.
First, we present chart of the perfection of Jupiter Trine Pluto filtered for trines:
Looks like TWO Grand Trines might be hidden amongst all those trines:
There are two grand trines! We see two possible opportunities. While we might can take advantage of both of them (maybe), is one better than the other?
Yes! One of them is part of a Kite, a relatively rare aspect that is a sign of a superb opportunity:
The Astraea / Uranus / Saturn fire trine is the better opportunity, though Saturn tells us that we will have to work (and maybe make sacrifices, give up something), Uranus tells us to expect surprises and requires changes and innovations, and Astraea tells us that this will likely involve the law and legal system.
We can pick the Moon / Neptune / Juno trine, but that can involve deceit (Neptune) and being on the wrong end of betrayal (Juno). That is challenging, but keep in mind that grand water trines (such as this one) tend to bring in money. And, again, both opportunities MIGHT can be combined.
You will have to form alliances to get the job done. The presence of a Hele tells us this:
Particularly with the grand fire trine / kite, you will need to form an alliance, or alliances, to get the job done. This is a longer term pattern
Worth noting is the presence of overlapping Square Keys (interlaced Huber Learning Triangles) and the lessons they bring:
Among other things, this period (March 2016) seems to be about “learning lessons.”
Finally, overlapping Focused Yods tell us you can achieve the focus needed to “get things done” but you must make a decision, foregoing an option and choosing one to focus upon. Push through until you complete the task or project or at least make it to the most important milestone.
We show the (same) chart, filtered for Focused Yods:
Wondering when you will see this aspect again (or have seen it before)? (It is comparatively rare. After June, we will not see it again until 2024.)

We are discussing Jupiter Square Saturn, but we first need to point out that this is a LONG TERM ASPECT. If you are in the habit of checking the newspaper or website for your “forecast today,” a fortune cookie of sorts, then you likely will NOT understand this. This REQUIRES a long-term point of view.

We also recommend that you read and compare our analysis of Jupiter Square Saturn in August of 2015. (This is part of a related sequence.)
Notice that this aspect (Jupiter Square Saturn) has been in play since February 14th (Valentine’s Day, and a rather amazing day astrologically though we were unavailable to develop an analysis for that particular day.), will perfect again May 26th without losing any influence, and move out of influence June 26th (also the date of the perfection of the third of three Jupiter Trine Pluto aspects). It will come into influence again shortly before the election and continue past the United States Presidential Inauguration in 2017.
Jupiter / Saturn angular aspects (conjunction, squares, and opposition) are notorious for financial market shakeups. These almost never happen “day of” perfection but in some nearby window (likely precipitated by a lunar or inner planet aspect). If you check on when financial crashes have happened in the United States, they have historically happened in May, August, and October (particularly in or near the Via Combusta). (See, also: here and here. If you click this last link, please note that Clarissa is one of our favorite astrologers, and we frequently repost her work because it is of such high quality.)
This particular Jupiter / Saturn square perfects a few hours before a lunar eclipse. We present the chart first filtered for squares present at the perfection:
A few of you may look at that chart and be suspicious that something else is present. You are right! (Fixed signs are absent, but that is not our main point. However, without them, we have trouble completing something start to finish. What has to happen today, instead, is (1) to close out the old tasks and projects and (2) start the new tasks and projects. That is consistent with an eclipse.)
Back to our regularly scheduled program: A T-Square is present, and it trumps a more ordinary look at this as being merely a collection of squares:
This is no ordinary T-Square. While Venus perfects it (and is more transitory), if you are willing to loosen your orbs a bit we can consider Neptune to be conjunct Venus (recently perfecting a few days ago) and part of the T-Square. Neptune is at home in Pisces, Venus is in exaltation, and both are different faces of each other. They are powerful, far more powerful than either Jupiter (in Detriment) or Saturn (not well placed in Sagittarius). So, in at least this case, we really need to look at Venus / Neptune to get a “real” idea of what is going on here.
As I hinted earlier, I believe the “real” idea is a hint of a major financial shift later this year. Venus rules finances (and financial markets), and Neptune stresses impermanence. If such as change does happen, my guess (again) is in May, August, or October.
Other lessons (patterns) are present with this particular chart. First, we will learn lessons during this period of time. A Square Key (really interlaced Huber Learning Triangles) is present. We show the same chart, filtered for that pattern:
We can be certain we will learn lessons from the choice we make today. And a big choice faces us. We know this because a Yod (the Finger of God and a pattern than indicates important choices of one path or the other but never both). We show this same chart filtered for the Yod:
We will have to choose our friends carefully today because they will become long-term allies and anchor us to a particular position. A Hele confirms that this is a day where this will happen:
Finally, an opportunity can be had today. This is not the “strong” opportunity of a kite, but it obtains a certain amount of strength because (1) this is perfection of a long-term aspect and (2) a lunar eclipse (full moon) occurs later today. So, you will have an opportunity if you (1) wrap up and close out old tasks and (2) choose wisely in your alliances and the new projects that you begin. Here is the same chart, filtered for the Grand Trine:
Let us be clear: this is a long term aspect though the eclipse makes today in particular important. Because this is a long-term aspect, at a minimum, last week and this week are particularly important in the period from February 14th to June 26th as well as the long term effects from the decisions and events that occur during this period.
If you want to review the events of this week (W13), click here.
Here are other Jupiter Square Square Saturn aspects:
(Click here for a more comprehensive list. But, be forewarned that that list contains over 500 entries, as opposed to the 30 that are shown here.)

Saturday February 20th 2016 Week 08 (W08)
This is an energetic Saturday, and you can “get things done.” And, you will feel an urge to do just that. Issues involving health, education, finances, and taxes come to the forefront. For some people these will be issues with the police or intelligence agencies. Take advantage of your sense of urgency and complete what you can.
Moon (Leo) opposes Mercury, Venus (Aquarius) followed by a quincunx to Neptune (Pisces) and a trine to Saturn (Sagittarius). Of all the days this week, this might be the best one for “getting things done,” and oddly it favors fire and air signs (though the Sun is in Pisces and applying, ultimately, to Neptune and Chiron). If we zoom out and look at Saturday and Sunday together, we could argue that a (very loose) Fire Grand Trine is present.
Venus (Aquarius) is semi-square Chiron (Pisces), and Sun (Pisces) is semi-square Pluto (Capricorn). This creates quite a push to “get things done,” and issues of healthcare (or education) and finances (Capricorn) are part of the mix. Mercury (Aquarius) semi-sextiles Neptune (Pisces). Fire and air signs may be favored, but Pisces and Capricorn clearly have a voice today. And Mercury / Neptune tells us that (some) people will tend to wax poetic (if not grandiose). No “Mars Out” higher order aspects are in play, so look to the earlier aspects this week as well as the Vesta Quadrinovile Juno aspect tomorrow (a skill involving exploring “how we have always done it” and trust & fidelity issues).
Tomorrow remains very similar, and these two days should be considered together for some important project. (Possibly a home improvement project, but certainly an important one.)

Friday, January 22nd 2016
Friday is complex. Mercury conjoins Pluto (another revisiting similar to Wednesday, the retrograde Mercury repeating the December aspect). Not only does that resurrect important issues that presented themselves just before Christmas in 2015, but we revisit it AGAIN in a few days on January 29th. Chances are good that the issues involve, on one hand, communications or transportation (and revisiting some things left undone) and, on the other hand, finances, taxes, “other people’s money,” police, intelligence agencies, drugs, poisons, or locations underground (such as caves and sewers). You can bet that the issues in Flint, Michigan are not yet resovled and will WORSEN.
By itself, the Mercury/Pluto aspect would be enough to keep you very busy (if not make you very angry), but then the Moon (with the Grand Water Trine from yesterday starting to dissolve) opposes both Mercury and Pluto followed by a square to Uranus creating a T-Square. You will feel at least an urge, if not a panic, to “get things done.”
Keep in mind the month long Thor’s Hammer is still in play, so mind your temper and watch for dangerous people, places, and things.
Tomorrow we have the Aquarian Full Moon of 2016 (Moon in Leo and Sun in Aquarius). Leo and Aquarius will feel this. So will Aries and Sagittarius (trine to Leo) and Gemini and Libra (trine to Aquarius). (For these signs, this FM should be mostly benevolent.) And Taurus and Scorpio (square to both Leo and Aquarius) will also feel it. (For Taurus and Scorpio, a call to action and possible anger or rash responses.)
2015-12-27 Moon Opposite Midpoint of Sun / Neptune (Yod)

2015-12-27 Moon Opposite Midpoint of Sun / Neptune (Yod)
We do not ordinarily analyze aspects / patterns such as this one. They are too frequent, and as a lone astrologer we do not have the resources or capacity to analyze every one that comes along. This one is different for several reasons. First of all, it represents a logical consequence to the events of the Friday Christmas Full Moon on 2015. Whatever happened then, and then the aftermath of Saturday, we have come to the two decisions of Sunday (Moon in Leo in a Yod with Sun in Capricorn and Neptune in Pisces) and Monday (Moon in Leo in a Yod with Venus in Capricorn and Chiron in Pisces). The decisions are similar and may, or may not, overlap in subject matter.
Let us back up a step and note that this decision (yod) occurs in the context of a Grand Fire Trine that covers Sunday, Monday, and, arguably, Tuesday. Moon (self, females in general, families and family leaders (e.g. mothers), and fluids ranging from bodily fluids to oceans) is in Leo (focused leadership, actors in dramas, and sometimes a bit of arrogance). Vesta (tradition and “doing things the way we have always done them”) is in Aries (primal leadership that is sometimes violent). Saturn (test, trials, tribulations, fathers in particular and financial leadership in general) is in Sagittarius (legal system, universities, churches & religious leaders, and foreigh or long distance travel). The Moon (in Leo) person must make a decision, and they are supported by someone who is likely either military or a police officer (and who is dialed into “doing things the way we have always done them”) and someone similar to a lawyer or religious leader who is attuned to practical realities in general and financial realities in particular.
The decision is between Sun (in Capricorn, strongly influence by Saturn in Sagittarius) and Neptune in Pisces (a particularly powerful poet, priest, criminal, or martyr; this could also be a person suffering from an illness). The Capricorn “leg” (or option) is one of safety that risks little danger but also is unsatisfying in that the possibility for something truly brilliant is lost. The Pisces “leg” has potential for beauty, poetry, art, or freedom from confinement (maybe), but it is risky and can be very messy. The decision maker has to pick from one of these, foregoing the other, and is left with some degree of dissatisfaction (“what if” I had gone the other way). Although the Capricorn leg is a bit more aligned with the planets of the Grand Fire Trine, neither leg particularly likes or trusts them. (And, they shouldn’t)
None of this decision making, on Sunday or Monday, will come without challenges. Both days will have decisions (and likely actions) that lead to the conflict of Tuesday December 29th (Mercury Square Mars).
The decision period, as we have ascertained it using one degree orbs for Moon opposing midpoint of Sun / Neptune, begins 2:47 PM CST (3:47 PM EST / 12:47 PM PST / 8:47 PM UTC). The window ends 6:38 PM CST (7:38 PM EST / 4:38 PM PST, after midnight (next day): 12:38 AM UTC for UK/EU). Some “wiggle room” is available, but a failure to decide is, itself, a decision.

Mercury Square Uranus 2015-12-20 (Grand Trine)

Mercury Square Uranus 2015-12-20 (Grand Trine)
This Mercury Square Uranus is colored by a short-lived Grand Earth Trine including Moon in early Taurus (too early to say period), Astraea (early Virgo, also too early to say), and Sun very late in Sadge (actually in a Fire sign) or, alternatively, Pluto in Capricorn (take your pick of the two).
We saw the other square earlier this year on July 18th. And we saw Mercury Trine Uranus on August 2nd and a few weeks ago on December 1st. Consider a few of your notes about the events of those days to determine what may be most useful to you on this day. The traditional wisdom is that you need to capture every idea, no matter how crazy or how fleeting, today. Some of the best gifts you will ever receive in terms of ideas come on these Mercury / Uranus days.
Here is the chart for perfection of Mercury Square Uranus, filtered for the Grand Trine:

Expect an interesting day, and if you are a creative this is a GREAT day for you. And, we will revisit this in January on January 20th and January 31st, resulting in a powerful window for creativity during the period between those two dates.

Mercury Trine Uranus 2015-12-01 (Fire Trine continues)

Mercury Trine Uranus 2015-12-01 (Fire Trine continues)
The Grand Fire Trine from yesterday continues as Mercury conjunct Uranus perfects on this day, but it is dissolving as the Moon moves into the latter part of Leo. Seize the opportunity or not. Multiple squares form several T-Squares, so plenty of energy is present to get things done (like yesterday) as long as conflicts are either avoided or somehow harnessed. A longer term Yod continues to be present, presenting a critical decision.
Here is the chart, filtered for the Grand Fire Trine:

And, here is the chart, now filtered for the Yod:
We now present the same chart, filtered for the T-Squares:

Avoid conflict (or integrate it favorably into your process), and you will have another day where you can accomplish much. Issues involving transportation and communication are particularly favored.
Mercury does also square Chiron (we are living in a time where favorable and unfavorable aspects always seem to occur together), and, therefore, health and healthcare (or educational) issues may rise to the forefront. Just know that the rest of the energies are with you, and knock this out.
About 9 PM CST (10 p EST / 7 p PST) the Moon goes void. Wrap up everything by then and take the evening off (or clean house).
Moon Trine Sun 2015-11-30 (Yod then Fire Trine)

Moon Trine Sun 2015-11-30 (Yod then Fire Trine)
Astrologically, it is a quiet day, AND it is a good day to get things done. Purchases go well, and buyers are favored over sellers due to Waning Moon. You will not likely see that Cyber Monday special again, so grab this one. You will have to make a decision between two alternatives in the morning (afternoon in UK/EU), and later a Grand Fire Trine will favor fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sadge) and to some degree air signs (Libra, Aquarius, Gemini). Get things done today. Here is the chart of Moon trine Sun, filtered for the Yod:

The Grand Fire Trine lasts through tomorrow afternoon. We present the chart for the beginning of the formation:

Tomorrow is a great day for innovators. And, even if you did not finish that novel by the deadline of Nanowrimo, you can still finish it today and tomorrow if you put in the work. Do that.
