The first Mercury Retrograde of 2021 is here.  We will expand this post a bit in the next few days, but we want to put up a few charts first (on the outside chance you know how to read them or are trying to learn that skill).

A few key points:

  • Mercury Retrograde begins with the Retrograde Station today (January 30th of 2021)
  • Mercury Retrograde ends with the Direct Station (February 20th of 2021)
  • The Shadow Period prior to the retrograde started January 15th
  • The Shadow Period after the direct station ends March 14th
  • Most of the chaos is associated with the stations and aspects in the shadow period
  • Mercury Retrograde can always be useful; use it to complete “unfinished business” and overlooked maintenance.  Cars break down, but often we have the flat tire because the time for new tires had arrived (and we ignored the warning signs).  Opportunities abound during this time IF you know how to recognize them.

This Mercury Retrograde has all of the patterns discussed in “What the Hell Are You Pissed Off About Now?”  We will cover those patterns again in brief.

A single pattern unique to the station stands out: a Saturn-Chiron Yod with the Moon at the apex:

Mercury Retrograde Station 2021-01-30 Chiron-Saturn Yod with Moon at Apex

This pattern tells us that, both collectively and individually, we face a decision : stick with “doing things the way we always have” (also called “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”) as compared to following a path of healing and education that may involve a painful look at ourselves.  Moon at the apex in Virgo tells us that healing is probably the better choice here though the universe will provide both advantages and disadvantages on each path at the fork in the road that we face.  No matter which path you pick, the path not chosen will always leave you wondering “what if I had chosen that way?”

The key, here, is the Moon at the apex of the yod.  This shows up in a Solar Map of the United States at this time with a Moon Descendant line passing through the western part of the United States that passes about halfway between Phoenix and Albuquerque.  (Those two, and that region, are likely to be “activated” somehow.)

New York, New Jersey, and Eastern PA, along with Boston, are also activated by Mars and Uranus lines.  “Something” (or someone) could go “boom” in these regions.

Notice that Scranton, Allentown, and Philadelphia are all “direct hits” with these lines (Uranus), as is New York City (Mars).  Pluto at MC (Midheaven, top of the sky) crosses the bay at Boston MA.  Expect “interesting” events in these regions from now through (at least) March 15th.  The days near Saturn Square Uranus (February 17th) will be especially sensitive for these regions.

Fifth harmonic (5th harmonic) activity is elevated in this period, signifying that creatives (poets, musicians, photographers, videographers, other visual artists and sometimes “inventors”) will benefit in this period (IF they go back and look at old ideas with “new eyes”).

Mercury Retrograde Station 2021-01-30 5th Harmonic

Mercury (Retrograde Station!) forms quintiles with Mars and Juno.  Issues involving women (and especially anyone who trusted and was then betrayed) will combine with Mars (war, warfare, violence) and Mercury (Standing Still!) is at the apex.  The time is at hand for certain people to right old wrongs, to obtain justice.

Saturn Enters Aquarius 1 (2020-03-21)

We are being given a taste of a major transition that will greet us more fully later this year.  Pieces of it have been unfolding for at least the past twenty years, arguably more than the past two centuries.  As Saturn enters Aquarius, almost silently, we face the Coronavirus Pandemic (Covid19) and the likely repercussions.  Internet businesses have the potential to flourish.  Some brick and mortar businesses are floundering.  Some services (healthcare, police, delivery drivers) are overwhelmed.  Other services (dine-in restaurants) are in peril.

“Things” will never be quite the same.  As Seals and Crofts sang in the early 1970’s, “We May Never Pass This Way Again.”

We present, here, basics regarding “Saturn Enters Aquarius 1” along with a glimpse of “Saturn Enters Aquarius 2.”  After “Saturn Enters Aquarius 2,” Saturn stays in Aquarius until 2023.

First, a “wheel + grid” filtered for the Stellium that is present (and had dominated recent charts):

But, What Does it Mean?

In the short term, this chart merely echoes what we have written (already) in these posts:

We can only add that a major shift has happened that is so BIG that it seems undetectable. But, some time on Sunday or Monday, expect to see or here announcements or events that are yet more profound than what has happened so far.

BIG changes are afoot, and this chart tells us that.

And it means this: the recent changes in financial markets will shift into fundamental changes in society and social structures.  Issues of communications (both face to face and electronic, but ESPECIALLY electronic) will become paramount.

Geniuses will struggle to birth their most brilliant ideas, but the ones that survive will become strong for (at least) another 28 to 30 years.

If you are a creative, this will be a difficult time in your personal life that can produce your best work yet.

Horary Versions of Saturn Enters Aquarius 1

For the technically inclined, we add to “horary” versions of this chart that add specific technical astrological information that some may find to be useful, such as information about Arabic Parts, Fixed Stars, and Midpoints:

Saturn Enters Aquarius 2

Now, we add similar charts for the SECOND entry of Saturn into Aquarius, later this year (December 16th, near midnight CST), after a typical retrograde sequence.

After this second entry, Saturn remains in Aquarius until 2023:

Note the Rosetta here.  This pattern signals dissent.  We see two major factions attempting to work together (such as bi-partisan efforts between Democrats and Republicans).  But, internally, each group is anything but unified, full of conflict.  Mars squares Pluto on one leg (they are in conflict now, as compared to their agreement on March 23, 2020), and the North Node (not a planet, but often treated as one) is in conflict with Vesta.

Interpretations of Saturn enters Aquarius

Some interpretations: Mars (war, violence) is in conflict with its “higher octave” self (Pluto: death, poisons, assassins).  Perhaps Mars wants violence but not death; Pluto wants to “finish them off.”  Meanwhile, the other group has a conflict with the North Node (karma, destiny) and Vesta (traditions, “how we have always done it”).

No matter who wins the election in the United States, “things” will become “ugly.”

Here is a list of various interpretations of “Saturn enters Aquarius” (These are external sites.  Over time, links may become “broken,” also known as “link rot.”)

March 18th through 19th of 2020: Sun in Pisces, Anaretic and Saturn in Capricorn, Anaretic

March 18th through 19th of 2020: Sun in Pisces, Anaretic and Saturn in Capricorn, Anaretic

This is easy to miss; I almost did.  As such, this entry is later than I would like (i.e., we have entered the 24 hour period as I write this).

The anaretic degree of any sign has been discussed at length.  Specifically, it is the final degree of a sign before a planet moves into a new sign.  Outer planets (capable of retrograde) may cross this region several times.  Cafe Astrology has an excellent explanation of the anaretic degree.  I will not duplicate their work except for a modification.

My original understanding of the anaretic degree came from a presenter at UAC ’98 (I think maybe Carol Wiggers, a William Lilly expert).  She sold me on Lilly.  While my depth of understanding is not “deep” in the ordinary sense of the word (except maybe for Lewi, who I read and re-read), my favorite astrologers are Grant Lewi, Dane Rudhyar, William Lilly, and Anthony Louis.  Of these, only Louis is still alive, and he has a WordPress blog!  Indeed, I have reblogged some of his most excellent content.

So, my point about the anaretic degree is this: if I understand Lilly correctly, he treated the final three degrees of a sign as “fated.”  Free will might exist in other areas, but not in the final three, and especially not in the “anaretic” (or final) degree.  Cafe Astrology, on the other hand, portrays the degree as “indecisive.”

The two viewpoints are not mutually exclusive (one could be indecisive because “fate” is actually driving the decision), but they are not necessarily the same, either.  The analysis you are reading is based on this understanding of mine.  (Lilly also called the first three degrees “too early to tell.”  While Lilly strictly applied it to horary, I apply it to other areas and, in my opinion, it works.)

Let’s get started.  Here is a head’s up of my main points:

  1. The five point stellium is obvious and does not differ significantly for the charts of entry of Sun into the anaretic degree (the entire focus of this entry) for charts for New York, Los Angeles, or Plano (my location). And, none of the regular patterns we look at (T-Square, Grand Trine, Grand Cross, etc.) are present in these charts.
  2. The most important thing is that BOTH the Sun AND Saturn are in anaretic degrees during this period.  (That is unusual.)  Specifically, the Sun is in the anaretic degree of Pisces (possibly the most powerful of all anaretic degrees since it is truly about endings) and Saturn is in the anaretic degree of Capricorn (its home!).  Saturn MUST make a statement of some kind before it leaves home.  And the Sun is in the same position as we close out one astrological year and start another.
  3. A triangular fifth harmonic pattern exists.  I identify this will little commentary, preferring that others reblog my work and add their own commentary.
  4. A triangular seventh harmonic pattern exists.  Again, I offer little commentary for the same reason as previous.
  5. I offer a number of maps.  While all are interesting to some greater or lesser degree, only three are truly compelling: (1) Western Canada (which places both Saturn and Pluto on the Fourth House Cusp, sometimes called either the “final resting place” or, more explicitly, “the grave”); (2) China (and that would seem obvious, but seeing the astrological maps confirming it is noteworthy) and (3) the UK (again, obvious based on what is happening there but, again, seeing the astrological maps confirming it is noteworthy).
  6. The other maps DO have stories to tell, just not quite as much as Canada / China / UK.
  7. I think this set of charts might tell us more about what happening than the Vernal Equinox charts..  (But, the Vernal Equinox charts, via the Thor’s Hammer pattern, hint that some serious “unrest” could be facing us.)

Fifth Harmonic Aspects

The 5th harmonic connections of Mercury (communications and transportation), Venus (values and finances and sometimes health), and Astraea (law and legal matters) foretells possible innovations emerging from the coming difficulties.  But Mercury ties into the Thor’s Hammer, so difficult lessons may face us first.

Seventh Harmonic Aspects

The connection of Juno (trust and betrayal), Saturn (often difficult and painful lessons), and the North Node (“fate” or “karma) using septiles (high order lessons involving karma that CAN produce breakthrough insights) seems to foretell the Thor’s Hammer of the coming Vernal Equinox.

United States Map

At least four different sets of lessons face the United States, varying by part of the country.

Canada Map

Western Canada has Saturn and Pluto on IC (Fourth House Cusp) lines; this location (Fourth House Cusp) is sometimes called the “Final Resting Place,” or “the grave.”

United Kingdom

UK is hit by so many lines that interpretation appears to be difficult.  But, it looks like a rough ride for them.  Since we already know that, the astrology is merely confirming the obvious.

Australia and New Zealand

Similar to the UK, one of the coasts of Australia is hit by a cluster of lines, a sign of challenges.

Europe

The EU is too complex to cover in a single entry.  This can be viewed as “homework” or, alternatively, someone else might choose to produce an analysis.

China

Similar to the UK and Australia, a large number of lines go through China.  Again, this simply tells us what we already know.

Japan

Japan faces complex and sophisticated lessons.  What interpretation?  Unclear.  But do not be surprised if Japan is the one to develop a cure or vaccine.  The multiple crossings tell us of sophisticated thinking about this thorny problem (Coronavirus, Covid19).

India

Two DISTINCTLY different regions and approaches.  SOME of the ingenuity of Japan is seen here, also.

Southeast Asia

This is merely a “zoomed out” viewpoint of other maps (China, India, & Japan).  However, it could facilitate analysis of other regions.

Full Moon February 2017 (Lunar Eclipse: Leo Moon + Aquarius Sun)

Headline: In addition to being a Full Moon and Eclipse with a comet (!), this FM has a complex set of patterns, some relatively rare, that bring important opportunities that can be realized if you make the right decisions and form the right alliances.  Additionally, a thief is lurking (might be a time waster or maybe an ACTUAL thief), so be careful!

A few months have past since our last “real” astrology post (other than something I started on Lost Dudeist involving an old cold case murder), and we are overdue to put some of our own work up.  This FM is interesting, with the Moon near the important fixed star of Regulus (i.e. the “Regulator” and associated with kings and royalty and sometimes downfalls) as well as a number of patterns.  We will focus mainly on the charts, as we have done the past few years, with only minimal commentary (encouraging our readers, instead, to comment).  Names for this moon abound.  “Snow Moon” is most popular, but we like “Werewolf Moon” best!  🙂

For other forecasts (reblogs), try our Posts Page.

Basic Chart, Inner Planets, and Outer Planets

First, we have a basic chart of the FM using tight orbs (eliminating all but the strongest aspects) and a new custom layout that we designed today:

lunareclipse-2017-02-10-11th-tightorbs

The aspect grid and mid-point trees here focus specifically on the strongest and most influential aspects.  Others have analyzed this FM extensively, and I really have little new to offer except my (usual) analysis of patterns and some discussion of mid-points as well as various items that catch my eye (though they have been mentioned by others).

In addition to the proximity of the Moon to Regulus (bringing up issues of power and control as well as risk of loss related to “revenge”), we note that the moon is apply to an (out of sign) conjunction to the North Node in Virgo.  This is important for any of several reasons (such as the Nodes being the critical ingredient in all eclipses) but we note that when that aspect perfects (Moon conjunct North Node in Virgo) a bit later that a powerful earth trine will be activated (making it possible to turn opportunities seized with the FM into money or material goods or benefits).

We present next the same chart (all of these are the same), but in a different format and filtered for inner planets (and Mars).  This version of the chart (and these aspects) speak to individual issues more than collective issues and, depending on our individual natal charts (or maybe those close to us) how this FM will affect us in a very direct way:

lunareclipse-2017-02-10-inners

If you are paying attention (we hope you are if you are reading this), then you will note two things.  The first, and most compelling, is that Mars forms a triangular relationship (similar to a T-Square, but (as far as I know) an as yet unnamed pattern) with Moon / Sun in opposition (that DEFINES a Full Moon!) and Mars forming a sesquiquadrate (135 degrees) to Moon and a semi-square (45 degrees) to the Sun.  Both aspects tend to be “irritating,” Mars is all about action (often physical) and can be prone to violence, and this set of aspects will spur you to “get things done” *IF* you can avoid becoming mired in conflicts.

The second aspect is more subtle, with Mercury sextile Venus.  Really, the aspect is not the issue.  The issue is that Mercury is “peregrine” (an horary term, and one of the few of those we use from time to time), and that makes Mercury a “thief” in this chart.  Incessant chatter and nuisance events related to transportation and communication can steal your opportunity from you.  Do not let that happen!

Here is the same chart, but filtered for the outers including Chiron, Major Asteroids (Pallas, Ceres, Vesta, and Juno), the additional two we always use (Hygeia, healthcare, and Astraea, law) along with the additions of Sedna, Selena, and Eris.  We also have the calculated point Black Moon (Lilith).

lunareclipse-2017-02-10-outers

The outers tend to affect us collectively, and as individuals we look to them to see how we “fit in” with the larger groups around us as well as what the larger collective is “working through.”  The larger T-Square (Uranus (and Eris, the troublemaker), Vesta, and Jupiter) is part of a looser Grand Cross (adding in Pluto in Capricorn).  The Uranus / Pluto squares since 2012 (arguably 2011) have been discussed extensively in their role in the financial meltdown of 2008 (the year Pluto (death and major transformation) entered Capricorn (banking and finance and large corporations)) through the “Arab Spring” and other Middle Eastern wars and violence up to, and including, the current events in the Middle East as well as the political climate here in the United States.

T-Square / Grand Cross

Beyond this summary, we will not duplicate those discussion except to note that Jupiter (Libra) ALWAYS acts as an “amplifier” of anything he touches, and Vesta brings in issues of traditions (and loyalty, probably especially military traditions if we followed our hunch on this).  Grand crosses bring SOME things to a HALT and launch other things into rapid motion.  This is another “irritating” pattern (similar to the Sun / Moon / Mars pattern previously discussed), but it is huge and affects many people and will extend particularly long after the eclipse (at least 18 months if we were to guess but maybe further).  Expect the fights we have been having to escalate, particularly if they involve traditions (and anyone who “serves,” i.e. military, police, nurses, and similar).

Huber Learning Triangle

We add that in addition to the T-Square / Grand Cross, a “Huber Learning Triangle” is present that includes Vesta (traditions and service), Chiron (education, healthcare, and mentors) and Jupiter (law, higher education, sometimes health, and foreign travel / ambassadors; higher thought and sometime philanderers).  Composed of a trine (easy and straightforward), a quincunx (a confusing and messy misunderstanding) and a square (an avoidable and irritating demand for action), this outer planet / asteroid Huber affects all of us and says that everyone (liberal, conservative, democrat, republican, libertarian, and “other”) is partially right (the trine), partially out of touch with reality (the quincunx) and feeling compelled to “do something about it” (the square).  This kind of pattern may also apply in other areas of your life.

Resolutions require that the misunderstandings be addressed if they can be.  (We think this involves people who serve (military & police & firefighters & nurses & similar), their education & healthcare benefits, and a real need for resolution (maybe legal and maybe in some other Jupiter area).

Please do note that both of these major patterns are interlaced and contain Jupiter / Vesta on one of their legs.  (Making “people who serve” and the legal system almost a certainty.)

With that, we examine the  patterns in play, which are powerful and interesting (and some tend to be rare).  Since they are numerous, we will list them first (in order of consideration):

  • Mystic Rectangle
  • Kites (Kite Key) and associated Grand Trines
  • Heles (Hele Key)
  • Rosetta
  • Yods

Mystic Rectangle, Kites, and Grand Trines

These three sets of patterns should be considered together Kites are considered rare, and Mystic Rectangles even more so.  Sometimes I see a fifth point in the Mystic Rectangle pattern which creates an interlaced pair of kites that I call a “Kite Key” (taking the name from “Double Yod Key” and similar patterns).  The Mystic Rectangle shows up in interesting places and people.  For example, Hillary Clinton’s natal chart has one and it is rather pronounced.  Kites always contain at least one Grand Trine, and several are present here (particularly a Fire Grand Trine composed of Uranus (Aries), Moon (Leo), and Saturn (Sagittarius)).  As we mentioned earlier, after the Moon moves into Virgo it will form (amplify, really) an Earth Grand Trine when it perfects the conjunction to the North Node.

Here is the same chart, but filtered for the Mystic Rectangle:

lunareclipse-2017-02-10-mysticrectangle

Moon, Jupiter, Uranus, and the Sun form this MR, and this is a “lotto ticket winner” pattern.  You may not win the “actual” lotto, but a huge opportunity is facing you (if you can avoid Mercury the thief, mentioned earlier).  (Do keep in mind that, with some people, Mercury might be an ACTUAL thief.  I have actually seen that happen when I saw a cash box stolen from a charity dance by a “snatch and grab” thief when Moon in Gemini (Mercury’s home) became angular.  As a young budding astrologer, this was an AMAZING event to witness!  The money was never recovered….)  An opportunity faces you, no doubt, but do act with SOME prudence!

Kites

The kite key (interlaced kites) formed from the MR confirm this:

lunareclipse-2017-02-10-kitekey

We will note that the three bodies of Hygeia (health and healthcare), Saturn (aging, bones, test, trials, and tribulations) and Astraea (law, lawyers, judges, and the legal system) form the apex (“additional planet”) in this kite key.  So, your opportunity may involve either health / healthcare or aging or bones or the law / legal system in some way.  (All three could be involved, as in an elderly person who is injured by some Mercurial peregrine young person and from the damage to their health a lawsuit and maybe criminal action results.  Bad news for the person who cause the harm in their fit of Sun / Moon / Mars temper.  Do not be the person with the temper!  You are smart enough to read this, so you should know better!)

Grand Trines

Here is the same chart, but filtered to reveal the Grand Trines:

lunareclipse-2017-02-10-grandtrines

To some degree, these patterns of opportunity are about personal decisions that may or may not directly involve others.

Hele (Key), Rosetta, and Yods: Issues of Allegiance and Decisions

In contrast to the previous group of patterns, the Hele / Rosetta / Yod group in this eclipse necessarily involve others (except MAYBE the Yods).  We also have interlaced Hele patterns (two) which we call a “Hele Key” and these emphasize the importance of forming stable long term alliances.  The Rosetta, on the other hand, is about short term alliances and can lead later to treachery and betrayal.  “Picking the right friends” is everything at this moment, and the pair of Yods (not quite a “double yod key” but VERY similar to that pattern) are about (a minimum of) two decisions involving alliances, friends, non-friends (enemies?), decisions, and what action to take (or avoid).

Hele Key

We present, first, the same Eclipse chart, filtered for the Hele pattern (and revealing the Hele key):

lunareclipse-2017-02-10-helekey

The “common leg” in these two interlaced Hele patterns (aka the “Hele Key”) is a Vesta / Chiron trine.  A stable relationship between Vesta in Cancer (traditions and service in the water sign associated with families and children and oceans and family outings at the beach) and Chiron (mentors, education, healthcare, and attempting to heal the deep wound that never seems to quite heal fully).  This might be a good weekend to NOT take your children (Cancerian) to any place where they could drown (a Chironic wound that could never be healed).  For others, the issues are about, on one hand, service and family, and, on the other hand, dealing with painful issues that may never resolved.  If you are lucky, this could be a healthcare issue that can be resolved (for now) or an education issue (that can be completed and finished).  In any case, it is really all about your alliances and the friends you pick.

If we had to make a recommendation (and that is risky!), we would recommend males tend to opt for “college professor” (or lawyer) type friends (or maybe military) and females opt for someone Saturnine (could be an older adult or some other “authority figure”).

Rosetta

Every garden must have a snake, no doubt.  In this garden, or chart, the Rosetta is the set of relationships that might can “get things done” rather quickly, but which may turn on you in some form of treachery at some later point.

Here is the chart:

lunareclipse-2017-02-10-rosetta

Curiously, the same Vesta / Chiron trine forms the backbone of this Rosetta.

Yods: Decisions

This chart contains a pair of Yods, and in astrology a pair almost always means “two or more.”  You can also think of it as “at least two” major decisions.  Here is the chart:

lunareclipse-2017-02-10-yods

One decision involves “fate” (North Node) or “hard work” (OR BOTH) and a choice between Venus (love, beauty, harmony, and maybe money & finances; also: this looks like Venus AND Mars!) and Mercury (communications, transportation, and the aforementioned thief).  Each has their advantage, and as an astrologer it is my duty to tell you that each path has its advantages and disadvantages, but we lean toward the Venus path over the Mercury path in this case.  (Why?  Because Mercury is peregrine, or a thief, here.  If you are a criminal, then maybe that is your path, but not for the rest of us.)

The other decision involves a Chironic issue (education, healthcare, or mentor(s)) and a choice between a very strong Leo Moon (likely a strong female) and Libran (but Retrograde) Jupiter.  That is a tougher choice, but we ever so slightly favor the Leo Moon.  (Why?  It is VERY strong in this eclipse, AND Jupiter is retrograde).  In the end, only you can decide.

Our most popular reblogs for this FM (so far):

Taking a peek at what the search engines (currently) like, we have these pages also:

This last one mentions “the Cold Moon, Ice Moon, and Quickening Moon,” but we still like the “Werewolf Moon” the best!

That is it for our forecast, but we are going to include some maps this time.  (We have not done that since 2015.)  No commentary for the maps; you are own your own in your analysis of them using what we have given you from the charts.  Also, for those interested in “Cosmobiology” and midpoint analysis, we are including midpoint trees and modulus sort strips.

Mars Conjunct Pluto 2016-10-19

Mars Conjunct Pluto 2016-10-19

You have been feeling this building.  Solar Fire shows this aspect, perfecting October 19th, to be in effect during this window:

Enters Oct 6 2016 1:48:26 am (CDT +5:00)
Is Exact Oct 19 2016 6:22:23 am (CDT +5:00)
Leaves Oct 29 2016 7:12:15 am (CDT +5:00)

We start with the 7th harmonic filtering of the chart rather than finishing with it.  This is the pattern that can give us some hope during what may be a difficult time for many people.

We see a triangular 7th harmonic (septiles!) pattern involving Mars/Pluto, Juno (trust), and Ceres (prosperity).  In an ordinary and “low” form, this is females (primarily) deciding to go on extreme diets prior to the holidays.  It is not healthy, and we hope that not so many people will do this.  Don’t take that path.

In a higher form, this is about trust and prosperity and picking your friends carefully.  The Hele pattern that is also present confirms that the choices of friends and allies made at this time is particularly important.

Here is the chart, filtered for 7th harmonic (septile) aspects:

Here is the Hele, a signal to pick your allies carefully at this time:

The remainder of the patterns are hard, except for a single Grand Trine pattern.  We start with a Grand Cross formed from Moon opposite Saturn (also very “tough”!) both square to the Nodes (Karma):

2016-10-19-mars-conjunct-pluto-grand-cross

Note that some astrologers will not consider this a “Grand Cross” because the nodes are “points” rather than “planets.”  Vedic astrologers, though, do treat the Nodes as planets.  (For purposes of patterns, I agree.)

A Hard Rectangle is also present:

2016-10-19-mars-conjunct-pluto-hard-rectangle

We also have TWO Thor’s Hammer patterns present2016-10-19-mars-conjunct-pluto-thors-hammer[Click Image to Enlarge]

Thor’s Hammers (God’s Fist) are associated with people, places, and things going BOOM!  So are Hard Rectangles.  Grand Crosses (the equivalent of four T-Squares overlapping) can be also.  It is all very difficult, and it is associated with Mars (violence, war) conjunct Pluto (the higher octave of Mars and police, intelligence agencies, drugs, poisons, and death by assassination).

We do have one more bright spot: a Grand Trine (Grand Air Trine: Sun in Libra, Pallas in Aquarius, and Moon in Gemini) and this is very good for generating ideas and communications.  Avoid resorting to violence; talk it out if at all possible!

As a separate post, we offer United States maps for the Lunar Eclipse of April 2015 (Full Moon of April 2015).  We begin with Solar Maps:

Salt Lake City looks particularly interesting on this map.  A Chiron line on Las Vegas raises issues involving healing and teaching there.  We note here and again later the Pluto line that is virtually on top of Jackson TN, between Memphis and Nashville.

And we offer a similar, but less detailed, map from Kepler 7:

2015AprilLunarEclipseUS-Kepler7-minimal-detail

Worthy of note: (1) the Neptune line near Los Angeles (good for the film and entertainment industry; bad for people who use alcohol and drugs to excess); (2) Mercury line near Dallas (and your astrologer); (3) Venus line between New York City and Boston; (4) Pluto line through Indiana, Kentucky, and near Nashville (big changes!); and (5) a Mars line from Michigan through the boundary between South Carolina and Georgia.  How do these affect your region?  Take the applicable planet (Neptune, Mercury, and so forth) and look for its place in the patterns discussed in the Lunar Eclipse of April 2015 analysis.

We now present more detailed maps (using Kepler 7).  First, we begin with Texas and the surrounding region:
