Pandemic : til the End of 2022 (Saturn Square Uranus x3)

The good news : some of you will finally find the freedom that you seek. Fed up with the cube and want to work at home? The chance to do that will present itself to you if it has not already done so. Choose wisely.
The bad news : I forecast that the Pandemic will be with us, in full force, through the end of 2022. Remnants of it will effect some people into 2023, but mostly we will move beyond it by the time 2023 asserts itself, bringing a different problem (the “Pluto Return” of the United States).
Let us be clear here: the paradox is this: the strictures of the Pandemic are the very conditions that will bring some of us the freedom we deeply long for. The package is bundled, and you cannot tease it apart.
Here is the time-table for Saturn Square Uranus:

For some of you, the doorbell will ring early, on the New Moon of Thorsday February 11th. Others will not receive the call until the Full Moon of Saturday, February 27th (and the doorbell might ring on Friday the 26th).
Each and every one of us will receive a gift in the form of an opportunity disguised as a problem.
Count on it.
Upcoming perfection on February 17th :

2016-03-31 Mercury Conjunct Uranus (Kite + Hele + Mystic Rectangle)

2016-03-31 Mercury Conjunct Uranus (Kite + Hele + Mystic Rectangle)
This is the kind of day that will pass you by in the blink of an eye if you do not take a moment to capture the insights and images that present themselves. Camera, video recorder, cell phone, notepad, and whatever can benefit you greatly when you see that one fleeting moment that you may never see again. Today is all about insights, powerful insights, and the patterns here tell us that “somebody” can benefit greatly from them.
Surprises and accidents can happen as well. Be on top of what can be learned from them.
The obvious source of the benefit is a “kite” pattern in play, and we show perfection of Mercury Conjunct Uranus (Aries) filtered for that pattern:
The key issue here is one of trust (Juno) v. “how we have always done things” (Vesta). They can (and do) oppose each other, but they “might” can be integrated. Moon and Jupiter (in grand trine with Vesta) complete the Kite, and we have a situation where lawyers and police officers may benefit from disgruntled wives, mothers, sisters, aunts, and similar. (Do keep in mind that in these kinds of situations where someone “wins” usually someone else “loses.” Sometimes this is called a “zero sum game.”) Do keep in mind that, despite what Hollywood would brainwash us to believe on television, that not all lawyers and not all police officers are honest. (And, if you are on the “wrong side” of this, standing to lose despite total innocence, you better get on top of it quickly.)
The kite COULD be the “end of things,” but a Hele and Mystic Rectangle are present. The Hele tells us that “long term alliances” are likely to form today, and people will polarize (or continue to polarize) on one side of the issue. Be certain you know who your friends are and who they are not.
The Pluto / Uranus Square (dissolving) form one part of the Hele (it seems to insert itself into almost everything!), and Jupiter (long distance travel, higher education, law and legal) and Astraea (law and legal) form the rest. Looks like these alliances are likely to involve legal battles.
And THAT could be the “end of it,” but it is not because we ALSO have a Mystic Rectangle present at time of perfection of this aspect:

If you DO NOT LIKE the cards you have been dealt with the Kite (it seems a bit lopsided), you have a “way out” with the insights of the aspect combined with the Mystic Rectangle. The Jupiter / Neptune opposition gives you a doorway to find certain insights and change the outcome.
But, in any case, capturing the thoughts and doing the work of the Magician to channel those thoughts in the ether (or, since the Physicists do not like that term, the “Higgs Field”) into manifestation.
Here is a list of Mercury / Uranus conjunctions (past and future):

2016-03 W12: Forecasts for Week 12 of 2016
March 18, 2016 at 8:30 pm | Posted in 2016, Astrology | 3 CommentsTags: 2016, 2016-03, 2016-W12, annual, Annual events, Astrology, Chiron, Conjunct Chiron, Diamond, equinox, Jupiter, jupiter pluto, Jupiter Trine, Jupiter Trine Pluto, Mercury, Mercury Chiron, Mercury Conjunct, Mercury conjunct Chiron, Mystic Rectangle, Novile Uranus, Pluto, Semisquare Uranus, spring, spring equinox, Trine Pluto, Uranus, Venus, Venus Novile, Venus Novile Uranus, Venus Semiquare, Venus Semisquare Uranus, Venus Uranus, vernal equinox
2016-03 W12: Forecasts for Week 12 of 2016
The Vernal Equinox is March 19th / 20th depending on your location (with Venus conjunct Neptune on the same day), and the next lunation (a Aries / Libra Full Moon) follows on March 23rd (Jupiter perfects a square to Saturn a few hours earlier on the same day). You already feel Jupiter / Saturn (especially the financial markets do), and this is the second of three with the first being last fall.
Focused Yods are also present this month, and we can “get things done” during these periods (absent other considerations such as v/c moons):
Focused Yod Enters March 12 2016 10:52:06 pm (CST +6:00) Focused Yod Leaves March 14 2016 12:32:31 pm (CDT +5:00) Focused Yod Enters Mar 17 2016 4:52:40 pm (CDT +5:00) Focused Yod Leaves Mar 20 2016 8:53:56 am (CDT +5:00)
Moon is v/c from 4:47 AM CDT until 4:04 PM CDT. Since Daylight Savings Time went into effect overnight, the accompanying void seems somehow appropriate. Slow down, be careful, avoid major purchases or commitments, and find some time to center yourself as Spring approaches. Later tonight, after Moon enters Gemini, Moon squares Venus (Pisces) and opposes Mars (Sagittarius) to form a T-Square. Chances are good that this is much ado about nothing.
Outer Planets: Jupiter (law, legal, higher education, long distance travel, and people related to these topics) perfects a long term opposition to Ceres (prosperity in general and food in particular) and issues related to these “come to a head” either over the weekend (a few days before), today, or in the next few days. Two outer planet quincunxes perfect, also make this a bit of an unpleasant day. (Jupiter quincunx Pallas, Chiron quincunx Astraea)
International Math Day, Pi Day, or Einstein’s Birthday: take your pick. (“All of the above” is the right answer here.) Informally, the Moon forms a very loose grand cross with an opposition to Saturn and squares to Neptune and Jupiter. You will either accomplish much or nothing at all. (No in-betweens on this one.)
Mercury squares Saturn, forcing you to pay attention to detail, but the perfection of Venus square Mars distracts you with issues of love and sex (or, if those don’t apply, family, power, & money). Outer planets are relatively quiet, but Uranus triseptile Juno suggests that a kind move that is helpful to a family member who deserved better treatment in the past is a very good idea today. But today is very important because of the Diamond Pattern present today along with other patterns. In fact, the patterns tell us that this may be one of the most important days (or several days) this year, maybe in several years.
A Diamond Pattern (rare) is present today and starts March 14 2016 4:13:20 pm (CDT +5:00) and continues until March 14 2016 8:35:22 pm (CDT +5:00).
A Mystic Rectangle is present late in the day and tomorrow and makes this, possibly, one of the best two days for art and creativity:
Mystic Rectangle Enters Mar 14 2016 9:05:45 pm (CDT +5:00) Mystic Rectangle Leaves Mar 15 2016 8:08:02 am (CDT +5:00)
A series of Thor’s Hammer Patterns are also present, so watch your temper and focus all that energy into “getting things done” (especially if they are artistic in nature).
Again, the patterns tell us that March 14th of 2016 may be one of the most important days (or several days) this year, maybe in several years. The entire week is important. Jupiter Trine Pluto with a Grand Quintile is an important turning point for some people, especially artists and other creatives. We are setting the stage for the upcoming full moon / lunar eclipse.
Tuesday March 15th (Ides of March)
[Written in retrospective.] Today a number of important elections occur. Given the aspects and patterns of Monday and Wednesday, we believe you will see significant changes / events occur. Mercury (Pisces) opposes Jupiter (Virgo), and Mercury also is sextile Pluto (Capricorn). The three, together, form a triangular pattern that is yet another indicator of powerful changes.
Venus also perfects a semisquare to Uranus, adding both a sense of urgency and a sense of weirdness to the day. Capture those unexpected insights if you cannot put them into practice today so that you can followup on them on another day if necessary. But, if you can, take advantage of the “luck” of perfection of Jupiter Trine Pluto tomorrow to accomplish something amazing.
Jupiter Trine Pluto perfects today, the second in a series of three. A Grand Quintile is also present earlier in the day, and that is a rare pattern that can produce powerful insights (genius level) as well as bode well for the development of creative works. Take advantage of the rare opportunity that today presents as best you can. Days like today are rare indeed.
We note that the Moon is very busy today, perfecting seven aspects (not including higher order aspects such as quintiles and septiles). The afternoon and evening has a series of lunar trines on this traditional Irish holiday (the date of St. Patrick’s death), and we expect the evening to go well for most people (except anyone who consumes too much in the way of mood altering substances and contributes to an accident or other harmful situation).
Mercury conjunct Chiron today tells us that we have communications and transportation related to health, education or both. Much of today is about processing the earlier three days of the week.
A relatively benevolent Moon v/c begins after midnight (Moon Trine Sun) and ends near 4 AM CDT with the entry of the Moon into Leo. The moon is more quiet today than yesterday, with quincunx aspects to Venus (afternoon) and Neptune (evening). You may encounter a few glitches, but for most people they will be forgetten in a day or two and certainly by next week.
Outer planet aspects are far more busy (yesterday was relatively quiet with a Ceres / Uranus aspect bring a surprise regarding our prosperity (“The Visa is maxed out? Again?)).
Mars sesquiquadrate Uranus brings us some sense of urgency (possibly anger) to “get things done.” Chiron opposite North Node (“Rahu” to some) means it is conjunct the South Node (“Ketu”) and, therefore, we have a temptation to “take the easy way out” or “cut corners” regarding some issue involving healthcare, education, or both. (Don’t do it!)
Pallas does BiQuintile Hygeia, and we CAN have a brilliant insight into how to solve problems today. Just focus your efforts, do not get derailed, do not cut corners, and do the work necessary.
In most of the United States, except the Eastern Time Zone (EDT), the Vernal Equinox greets us late tonight. (EU / UK experience this a half past 5 or half past 6 or later depending upon time zone.)
Sun biseptiles Saturn, and we should consider resolving some old karma or helping someone less fortunate than ourselves or both. Sun quintiles Pluto, and we may encounter a very ingenious idea that either (a) helps us with the biseptiles (helping someone else) or (b) gives us a gift in the form of a smart idea that comes from providing said help. In any case, they go together and they set the stage for the days to come at least until the Summer Solstice (late June) or possibly as long as the Vernal Equinox of next year (late March). Venus septile Pluto confirms this emphasis on helping others.
Venus novile Uranus provides us with a gift of some sort this evening, an insight or useful skill, likely resulting from helping others (or maybe an insight because we failed to help; those can be hard lessons sometimes).

2016-03 W11: Forecasts for Week 11 of 2016
March 8th is the next lunation, and it is a Solar Eclipse (New Moon). Many states (including Texas) switch to Daylight Savings Time on the Sunday that follows.
After last week, you may want a break but Sun square Saturn will not give you one. Duty calls in some form, maybe business or family, and you must attend to it. Much chatter will emerge, and some of it may be continued disputes form the recent Mercury / Mars aspect (and change of signs). Lessons can be learned and skills can be developed. Pay attention. Get things done. And, when you get a chance, give yourself a break and get some rest anyway.
That would be enough, but Jupiter quincunx Uranus perfects today. You have felt it building for the last few weeks in the form of a sense of false hopes or miscommunications between issues of bookkeeping or accounting, healthcare (especially healthcare professionals) and issues involving a battle between order and chaos on one hand, and issues of energy, the ability to accomplish tasks, possibly anger or violence, and leadership. It is all very complex, and you will have to identify how it applies in your particular situation. But, some time this weekend through the upcoming eclipse you will likely see things “come to a head” in some way. Change is afoot, and “things” will be different after Tuesday.
Mercury semisquares Uranus and any angry words we have spoken in the last few days resurface and may be amplified. For some people, they will be broadcast and re-broadcast. Be careful what you say. Vesta (traditions and “doing things the way we have always done them” is void until 6:50 PM CST and this further contributes to “things” going awry and unintended consequences. You may have some good ideas (Mars quintile Jupiter), but consider writing them down and saving them for another day. A Solar Eclipse perfects tomrrow and the Moon is very “old.” That makes this a better time to “clean house” (literally or figuratively) and reflect rather than take action on new projects.
Today is the day of the Solar Eclipse, a very special type of New Moon. Sun and Moon join together and each oppose Jupiter (with each individual opposition perfecting at slightly different times on this same day in most time zones). Saturn (Sagittarius) squares this combination to form a T-Square. Virgo / Pisces (and Sagittarius) issues are at the forefront as we begin a new cycle in more than one way. The New Moon governs the 28 day lunar cycle, but the messages of the eclipse apply at least until the other eclipses later this year. Ceres (prosperity in general and food in particular) BiQuintiles Black Moon Lilith (a point governing taboo issues in general and taboo sexual practices in particular). This is a difficult aspect to interpret, and we suggest you identify how it applies in your individual situation. Pallas BiQuintiles the North Node (another point, associated with karma), and we may have some important ideas about how to handle difficult “karmic” situations in our life.
Whether perfection of the eclipse fell in on yesterday in your time zone or on today, you will still “feel” it. As we move further past the eclipse, we can start thinking about taking action on some of the ideas that we have noted on previous days.
BUT, the Moon remains v/c (void of course) from yesterday until 1:39 PM CST. That means we have to wait until some time after 1:39 PM CST to make our desired launch today. Keep in mind that the further you can move away from a “sign change boundary” the better (unless you have Venus or Jupiter near the cusp of Aries). That means later in the day as much as possible.
With the North Node semisextile Black Moon Lilith (both points in space, so to some degree this reflects the Earth’s alignment at this time), we have taboo topics (especially taboo sexual topics) bubbling to the surface and may face some “hard karma” in dealing with them. Today is anything but ordinary for many (if not most) people. Venus Novile Pluto says we can learn a lesson here (both can, and do, deal with Love (Venus) and Sex (Pluto)). Venus is also TriSeptile the North Node, and this brings the idea that doing a totally selfless (best if anonymous, also) act to help someone else might relieve at least a little of our “hard karma.”
Thursday March 10th
This is a busy day with a number of higher order aspects perfecting. We note Sun conjunct Chiron today. This is an annual aspect that brings health, education, mentoring, and “the Wounded Healer” to the forefront. Venus quadrinovile Jupiter tells us that we can learn an important lesson or skill that will serve us well in the future. Keep in mind that this might seem like something trivial because Quadrinoviles often bring us skills that are useful in thefuture (but not yet currently). Mercury novile Uranus may bring us one or more additional lessons. Venus quintile Saturn may also bring us a smart, but practical, idea. Septiles suggest that we help someone less fortunate than ourselves.
Friday March 11th
Today you may feel an urgent need to get things done, but that may not go so well unless you are working writing poetry or song lyrics, doing a photoshoot, or making a video or movie. Scammers and thieves will tend to be more active today, so make certain you do not believe anything a stranger says or buy what they try to sell you. Even family members may be suspect. Stick to the poetry or photography.
Saturday March 12th
Venus enters Pisces today. This is great for creatives, one of the best possible situations, but not so good for finances. Similar to yesterday (except that it is with us for a few weeks), this empowers scammers. Put off major purchases for a few weeks if at all possible. Certainly avoid speculative endeavors. As mentioned before, the best use of these few weeks is in developing your abilities with writing poetry or lyrics, photography, or videography. Other arts may flourish also, but the ones explicitly mentioned work best.
Venus Sextile Uranus 2016-03-02 (Double Yod Key)

Venus Sextile Uranus 2016-03-02 (Double Yod Key)
Venus Sextile Uranus happens three times in 2016, and this is the first. The other two are June 12th and December 25th (Christmas Day). The aspect tends to bring kinky or unusual sex or unusual sexual relationships. Traditionally that meant LGBT, but now that those are becoming more “mainstream” it might mean other “more unusual” relationships. But, if you are LGBT, this should tend to be a good day for you.
This day has a Double Yod Key (DYK) in it from 3:32 PM CST to 9:05 PM CST. That is a period of at least two important decisions, and it could be a time of many more important decisions, the kind that tend to be “life changing.”
We present the chart for perfection of Venus Sextile Uranus, filtered for the DYK:
This DYK appears in an extended period from February 20th until March 15th that contains a Square Key. That means this period is a period of learning important “lessons.” Here is the same chart, filtered for the Square Key:
What do these two mean together? We have been learning a series of important lessons since February 20th and will continue to do so through March 14th. But today, particularly today, brings a series of important decisions to the forefront. In other language, “things come to a head.”
Oddly, though we can prepare, we cannot take truly decisive action until Friday when we have a Focused Yod (which is very good for “getting things done”). Friday requires a decision, as well, but if we make it and truly commit to one path, then we can “get things done.”

Wednesday March 2nd 2016
A Square Key has been present since February 20th and lasts until March 14th. A Double Yod Key (DYK) begins today at 4:16 PM CST and lasts through Friday, March 4th at 9:12 PM CST. The Double Yod Key brings us a period of several (at least two, possibly many more) important decisions, and the Square Key is a period of important (possibly life changing) “lessons.” Friday afternoon is particularly important as a Focused Yod dominates the sky from 3:32 PM CST until 9:05 PM CST. This period on Friday is an important time when we can “get things done.”
Wednesday, in particular, is a busy day in terms of lunar aspects, and these lunar aspects tend to favor fire and air signs. Everyone will be busy, and for some of you (especially fire (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) and air (Libra, Aquarius, Gemini)) will be especially busy.
Venus (Aquarius) sextiles Uranus (Aries), and some people engage in kinky sex or at least “unusual” romantic relationships. (If you have been contemplating such a thing, this is your day to “make it happen.”)
This is tainted a bit as Juno (trust and loyalty) stations retrograde today. Juno is associated, also, with female roles, notably, wife, mother, sister, and daughter; of these, it is especially associated with the wife of the philandering husband (Jupiter). In any situation, trust issues will come to the forefront today, and you may need to eject someone (maybe even a group) from your life.
Hygeia and Uranus are quadrinovile. Quadrinovile is associated with powerful insights (sometimes “far out” metaphysical aspects) that open the door to new skills and technologies that completely alter how “things are done.” Sometimes these are called “disruptive technologies.” In this case, on one side, we have the “health and healthcare” issues of Hygeia and on the other we have “computers, internet, electronics, social workers, and radical innovations” from Uranus. We would not at all be surprised to see some major shift in the healthcare system on this date.
We note that Venus (Aquarius) sextile Uranus (Aries) AMPLIFIES the Hygeia / Uranus aspect, and Aquarius is the home for Uranus. Both Aquarius and Uranus are the home of all issues involving “computers, internet, electronics, social workers, and radical innovations.” In a word, it is the “future.” Venus is about art and love and pretty farms, but it is also finances (particularly the financial markets) and the body.
This a GREAT day to resurrect that “New Years Resolution” to improve your health but now in a more practical version that actually works. And, if you already have a version that works you can now expand it (carefully) in some creative and innovative way.
Do keep in mind that much of this “turns off” on Thursday and the windows close. If you are to get something done, do it today if you can. Friday, you will get another shot at your single most important issue.

February 5, 2016 at 9:12 pm | Posted in 2016, Astrology, Predictions | 4 CommentsTags: 2016, 2016-02, Astrology, BiQuintile North Node, Jupiter, Mercury, Mercury Jupiter, Mercury Trine, Mercury Trine Jupiter, Square Uranus, Sun BiQuintile, Sun BiQuintile North Node, Sun Node, Sun North Node, Trine Jupiter, Uranus, Venus, Venus Square, Venus Uranus
For most people this will be a good day. The only square is Venus square Uranus which is notorious for kinky sex and unusual romantic relationships. Perfection of this aspect follows on the heels of yesterday’s Venus / Pluto conjunction, and this may be a sexually intense weekend for those who choose a “getaway” at this time. (Venus Square Uranus is associated with “kinky” or untraditional sex.) But, it could also bring a “surprise” from the standpoint of finances and financial dealings. In any case, it is a continuation from the Venus / Pluto conjunction yesterday.
Today is at least as complex and active as yesterday if not more so. Mercury Trine Jupiter enhances the continuation or revision of any work done by creatives yesterday. This is known as a particularly benevolent aspect which helps in areas involving transportation and communication. You saw this on January 14th in the retrograde form, and you may want to check your notes from that time. This also occurred in direct form on Christmas Day of 2015. You may want to check your notes from that time as well for any connections to what is happening now, particularly regarding communication and transportation and especially as they relate to bookkeeping, finances, employment, and healthcare.
Sun BiQuintiles the North Node, and that means that we just might have a very smart idea about how to handle some hard karma. With Sun Sextile Uranus and Sun BiQuintile North Node, insights abound for those with eyes to see them and ears to hear them. Venus is also septile Neptune, and doing something for someone less fortunate than yourself is a good idea.
The only real “downside” is that the Moon is void in Capricorn for most of the day, starting at 9:54 AM CST (10:54 AM EST / 7:54 AM PST). That votes for sticking to routine, but if you do decide to become experimental in some way just realize that you might have a “re-do” somewhere in your future.
If you are a creative, you would be wise to make a devoted effort, anyway, to explore the dichotomy of the traditional and the taboo in your work as well as the “bones” of the work compared to events that might change that structure. What you do today may not bear fruit. And your attempts on Sunday (which you should also do) may not either. But by some time next week (or possibly as late as the 14th for some of you), you may yet have a powerful breakthrough that propels your work forward in ways you cannot yet imagine or foresee. As the old saying goes, “don’t give up 15 minutes before the miracle occurs.”
This is the weekend before the New Moon on Monday (and Chinese New Year) and a host of interesting aspects next week. Vesta (a major asteroid) will oppose Black Moon Lilith (a point in space, similar to the nodes), and (along with a host of aspects to both next week) that portends a period both in this past week and next week where we will have no choice but to examine our traditions, taboos, and whether or not our beliefs about them need to change. Venus perfects a semi-sextile to Saturn early at 7:15 AM CST. Moon becomes v/c (void of course) after perfecting a square to Jupiter at 4:04 AM CST and the moon stays void until entry into Capricorn at 6:45 PM CST. Moon square Jupiter tends to lead us to overeat or overspend. This is both a day in which we are cleaning up from Wednesday AND a very “metaphysical” day.
The early Venus Semi-Sextile Saturn aspect makes this feel like another workday, but even more than previously please do stick to routine and resist the temptation to follow the absurd or extreme. You will see the wisdom (or folly) of your actions by evening.
Outer planet aspects include Uranus conjunct Vesta (a followup from Monday). Mars Semisquare Hygeia brings in issues from Tuesday and give them a powerful sense of urgency. But, the moon is void for most of the workday, and we find it difficult to accomplish certain tasks despite their pressing urgency.
Julie Demboski has an excellent description of the perfection of Uranus / Vesta:
“Today could be a dangerous day, and by dangerous I mean exciting, over-the-top, fulfilling–it’s the aftermath we have to be mindful of. The individuality urge is fired by the need to be original, to experiment, to be radical, to make chaos, revolution, or something entirely new and modern–and the Vestal influence can be both highly constructive, aligning our urges with our highest values or service to home and family, or can lead us to believe that our impulses and intellectual conclusions are sacred, not to be questioned or thwarted, and so effectively sending us on a monomaniacal tear. How do we tell the difference?” We encourage you to read more. [Click Here.]

Sunday brings the second part of the T-Square we previously mentioned: Mercury square Uranus. We have visited this aspect several times since December, and we are probably tired of it by now. With Moon in Scorpio, we may be up for one last fight, but is it worth it? Only you can decide.
For better or worse, this aspect will bring insights. Creatives, particularly writers and computer programmers (who do creative programming) will prosper. Others will find themselves suddenly thinking “out of the box” and wondering “why was I in ‘the box’ to begin with.” It is definitely a day of surprises for at least some people, particularly Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. You almost certainly felt this on Saturday (and maybe Friday), and you will almost certainly feel it on Monday (and maybe Tuesday).
For some people, this is the kind of Sunday where, on Monday, you pretend to leave for work but go somewhere entirely different and hide for a day or week or year. (Maybe you “go out for cigarettes and never come back,” as was popular in the 1950’s and 1960’s.) Do keep in mind that “this too shall pass,” and “things” will become different. (Not “better” or “worse” but “different.”) But, again, this will be a critically important turning point for some people who choose to move into new circumstances. A fair number of you will do just that.
While we are technically still in the “retrograde shadow,” in many ways moving past this final aspect of the sequence ends this particular sequence of dramas and opens the door for us to (finally!) move in new directions. But, in January of 2017 (when Mercury conunct Pluto perfects again), we may want to revisit our thoughts, notes, and decisions at this time.

Wednesday January 27th 2016
Wednesday is similar to Tuesday: a very lunar day with the Moon in Virgo. The morning starts as a straightforward workday followed by a glitch or two here or there. Once past these we have smooth sailing into the evening. An opportunity may come to you late Wednesday afternoon; seize it. To be sure, it will require work, and it may not be entirely straightforward. It will not be a HUGE opporunity but something shorter term. Still, it is likely to be worthy of pursuit. Moon turns v/c at 6:11 PM CST, so fully seize the opportunity before then (and lock it in) or forgo it altogether and spend the evening cleaning house.
An early morning BiSeptile between Mars and Uranus brings a bit of karma in odd interactions with others. We may have anger and explosive reactions, but invariably (in most cases) this brings more harm than good. Channeling that some energy / emotions into solutions rather than outbursts is more helpful, but not everyone is capable of that.
After the Moon moves v/c 6:10 PM CST, Sun perfects a sesquiquadrate to Jupiter. We feel a sense of urgency, but our actions may not produce the results we expect if any at all. A re-do will likely be later tomorrow or at some later point. A quiet evening of meditation and planning is a better use of your time.

Venus trine Uranus to meet the man of the moment

Hey the good news is that Venus is slowly moving out of the sombre shadow of Saturn and into a harmonious trine or 120 degree angle to Uranus. That should fire up our social life once again for a day or two. It gives the inclination to enjoy life, as opposed to feeling it to be a burden thrust upon us by some cruel twist of fate. Happiness is there for the making and it is yours for the taking. Uranus of course may make our pursuit incline a little toward the new and original side. It can facilitate new encounters with interesting people. Uranus adds that inventive, original, progressive, avant garde aspect to our inclinations today. Some might even see the odd stranger in multi-coloured pantaloons that you bring home for tea as quite eccentric, but he may be the computer programmer from down the road who might just…

Venus trine Uranus indicates a person mentally agile and spirited, of quick intuitive perception and exceedingly magnetic, especially to the opposite sex. This aspect gives love of art, music and poetry, penchant for seeking uncommon, extraordinary and exceptional experiences; it is a favorable indication of suddenly consummated partnerships based on idealistic principles. In case of love, it can represent something similar like medieval courtly love called ’amor de lonh’ (’love from afar’) i.e. subtle desires often with ’platonic’ nature. (Now Venus conjunct Saturn, to some extent, can restrain these indications.)

Sun Square Uranus 2015-07-12: This square happens twice a year. With Uranus in Aries, the Sun squares it once when it is in Cancer and once again in Capricorn. This one follows almost a week after Sun opposite Pluto and it is part of the Uranus Square Pluto drama that has been playing out for several years.
Here is the chart, filtered for squares, oppositions, and t-squares:

In terms of manifestations, this looks like part of the ongoing Greece / China / US / global financial meltdown that is currently in play. We might see violence, riots, and possibly even explosions of some kind related to the current events.
A square key (essentially two interlocking Huber Learning Triangles, one a HLT1 and the other a HLT3) is also present and highlights an inconjunct (quincunx) between Pallas and Mars. What might seem to be “bright ideas” may crash…

Sun Square Uranus 2016-01-07
Before we analyze the perfection of this (annual) aspect, let’s provide links to other similar aspects:
- Sun Square Uranus 2015-07-12 (the mirror image of today’s square)
- Sun Trine Uranus 2015-12-05 (the benevolent trine that preceded today’s square)
- Mercury Square Uranus 2015-12-20 (a similar square that tends to be inspiring)
- Mars Square Uranus 2015-07-25 (a particularly dangerous version)
- Mercury Square Uranus 2015-07-18 (mirror image of the December 20th aspect)
If you keep notes, the way we recommend, then you can compare these days from last year (2015) to today to see what similarities, and differences, exist. You might want to particularly pay attention to what was happening in your life on, or near, July 12, 2015. As we repeatedly mention, this helps “teach you to fish” as opposed to merely giving you a fish.
Today, Sun Square Uranus has a Thor’s Hammer pattern that is present for most of January 2016. We present the chart for perfection of this aspect, filtered for the Thor’s Hammer pattern, next:
We note that this pattern CAN be associated with accidents and explosions (not as much as Mars square either Uranus or Pluto). The presence of the month-long Thor’s Hammer exacerbates that, Mercury Retrograde tends to introduce mis-steps and confusion, and we are in a very old Moon (those tend to eliminate or “remove” things).
By themselves, this would be enough. But, as often spoken on late night television, “…but wait, there’s more!” Jupiter stations retrograde (similar to Mercury Retrograde, but more subtle) and a mutable T-Square involving Moon (Sagittarius), Chiron (Pisces), and Jupiter (Virgo) forms later in the day.
Today can be quite risky.
But, as we have pointed out in a number of other posts, days like today can be good for “getting things done” (if you avoid dangerous people, places, or things) especially if they involve cleaning out clutter and removing that which is no longer necessary to make room for that which is yet to come.
We also have other commentary published here.

Thursday, January 7, 2016 Sun Squares Uranus
Thursday is dominated by (1) Sun Square Uranus; (2) Jupiter Retrograde Station; and (3) a mutable T-Square involving Moon (Sagittarius), Chiron (Pisces), and Jupiter (Virgo). Hope you used Wednesday wisely to process the events from earlier this week (for most this means Tuesday) because all those issues are going to rear their head(s) again today. The ride may not be QUITE as bumpy as earlier, but it will be bumpy. Fortunately, most of the problems that seem urgent today will tend to pass more quickly.
