March 31, 2010 Moon Enters Scorpio: A Time to Quietly Get Things Done

Two patterns dominate today’s sky as the Moon enters Scorpio.  Both of them demand action.  The potential for more damage or violence exists here.

The first is known as Thor’s Hammer or the Quadriform.  It is also known as “God’s Fist.”  From the article just linked to:

Other astrologers see the energy flow originating in the apex planet, which then must find a way to wield the power and dynamic stress of the square planets. It’s a little like holding a live grenade – what do you do with it?? You need to find a way to use it constructively and creatively, or the energy can become destructive. This image is like a Hammerhead or God’s Fist.

Here, the planets are the Moon (in Scorpio), Mars (in Early Leo, square to the Moon), and Jupiter in Pisces sesquiquadrate to both.  How will you use this energy?  The following chart is entry into perfection of the Thor’s hammer at 9pm local (Dallas) time:

But, earlier, a Double Thor’s Hammer occurred.  The second square involved is Mercury square Mars, so both patterns are connected by the common planet Mars.  This larger pattern made of two embedded patterns is not an acknowledged pattern, but the pattern is obvious, and so is what the name should be:

Of course, this is a bit like having a hand-grenade in EACH hand, and the explosive power is provided here by Mars (maximum explosive power).  Actually, this should be called a “Left Double Thor’s Hammer” since an alternative form, the “Right Double Thor’s Hammer” can exist.  (Or, if you prefer the less dramatic: Left Double Quadriform and Right Double Quadriform).

The other pattern is a Hele.  The pattern was recognized recently, in 2004, by Sally Fisher (according to the link just provided).  Here, Uranus and Neptune are in a semi-sextile.  Uranus trines Mars (a potentially bad aspect regarding bombs and terrorism) and Moon trines Neptune (which either leads to great creativity or things being cloudy and obscured).  Moon and Mars complete the pattern with their square.

Only recently recognized, not much is known about the Hele.  But, the two trines involving two planets with large orbits (Uranus 84 years / Neptune 160 years) implies that the events of today (and maybe the past few days) will have significant consequences for many years to come.  Although maps would be “nice,” choosing a specific point in time is difficult.  For example, would it be the Moon ingress to Scorpio or the perfection of Moon square Mars?  When the Hele perfected?  When the Quadriform(s) perfected?

The two patterns are intricately connected and make two different but inter-related pronouncements on the same matters (Moon in Scorpio square Mars in Leo).  In fact, this might be considered some greater pattern, a superset of both embedded patterns.  In a sense, this pattern looks a bit like a square key or double yod key (prevalent yesterday).

The author of this blog (who prefers to be anonymous until after his death, and only known as “Grand Trines”) will therefore dub this, as alternative synonyms, the Quadriform Key or the Hele Key.  (And, arguably, it could be called a “Thor’s Hammer Key” (more dramatic than the other names) or the “God’s Fist Key” (the most dramatic of all).)

Then again, maybe someone else (Grant Lewi?) found the same thing in the 1930’s.  (But, as of this writing, no clear evidence exists of any prior recognition or naming.  But the author of this website is a fan of Lewi’s, so he gets a plug.)

“The Cliff Notes” version: yep, this was another “Bad Moon” that certainly had the potential to generate a bombing.  That it occurred in Moscow rather than Tehran or Baghdad is surprising, based on the maps.  A number of global cities were affected in different ways, including New York, Philly, DFW (Dallas Fort Worth, aka “The Metroplex”), Oakland CA, Seattle, Vancouver, Tokyo, Jakarta, Alice Springs, Paris, Rome, Krakaw, Budapest, and most of Eastern Europe.

The Full Moon Will Provide the Energy for the Double Yod Key of March 30th

The Full Moon of March 29th has perfected, almost precisely as the beginning of this article about that Full Moon.   Although the U.S. has some important activity, once again Australia looks “interesting.”  We’ll cover the bombings today as well, and take a look at the Pacific Rim.  Most of this post will be graphic so that you can “draw” your own conclusions.  (Sorry, just could not pass that one up.)

The Double Yod Key of March 30th is still a powerful and “interesting” aspect.  (Here is a different approach to March 30th) Decisions will be made on that date, and they will be major decisions following this Full Moon.  Given the equinox this year with a precise Moon Conjunct Algol, other similar events may plague us this year.  Focused Yods (fairly common) and Quintile Kites (not so common) are prevalent during this period, as mentioned earlier.

Note that Uranus has the largest midpoint tree.  Since Uranus (aka Prometheus) governs the unexpected, that is to be expected on the day of a bombing.  Uranus also governs rebels, rebellions, and revolutions.  So, that this bombing was done by rebels is not (after the fact) so surprising, either.  Note that Uranus midpoints pick up Sun, Mercury, Venus, Neptune and Chiron.  That is, Uranus aspects midpoints of most of the planets in the chart.

An Aries / Libra Full Moon always has the potential for violence.  Violence is not the only thing happening here; this could be a great time for romance, or building a plan and then engaging in decisive action.

And, now, for Maps.  Looking at the U.S. first, we see (1) MC line for a very strong Mars that forms a T-Square with the Ascendant and Venus (at this particular location).  This line operates through the geographic center of the U.S.  Neptune in NYC and Chiron along Philly show that the Mid-Atlantic is dealing with some kind of profound healing.  Since Neptune is all about revelations, do not be surprised if corruption is exposed and scandals erupt.  Curiously, these same scandals may lead (believe it or not) to the development of an educational curriculum (probably within a Criminal Justice program) that specializes in training law enforcement in the discovery of corruption and organized crime.  If you are reading this, and you are a professor thinking about this kind of thing, this is YOUR TIME.  Do not hesitate; charge ahead with your plan.  The time is ripe.

A hint exists here that something from the U.S. may have been involved in the bombing today.  Different versions of these lines exist in the former USSR, so do not be surprised if we learn the explosives or detonator were manufactured in the U.S., possibly somewhere in or near the Mid-Atlantic (or along that Mars line; maybe here in Texas?)

One other thing, Oakland CA, and Seattle & Vancouver have a Sun DSC line nearby.  In addition to making this a powerful Full Moon in those localities, the Moonrise was probably spectacular in those locations (still near horizon as this is being written).

Australia and New Zealand are “interesting.”  But, the most interesting thing is the Uranus line through Alice Springs.  Will one of the bombers have a connection to someone there?  Or, should people there be “aware” for “surprises.”  (What kind?  Who knows?  It would not be a “surprise” if we knew. But it is not necessarily “bad,” and no need to think this is a bombing. But, count on a “surprise” of some kind. Also, this is a VERY good time and place for “creative types.”)

With a Pluto line through Tehran and a Uranus line through Baghdad, the big surprise is that the bombings did NOT happen there. Given that Pluto is considered to rule Nuclear energy (and particularly Plutonium, which is appropriately named after Pluto), this emphasizes the continuing issues with Nuclear Power and Tehran. Note that, similar to the related Moon Conjunct Algol Equinox map, Jakarta is once again affected or even somehow implicated in the activities of today. Other parts of Asia are “interesting” as well:

Saving the most important for last, we have Europe.  Oddly, Moscow does not have any lines.  The most crucial point on this map is a crossing of Mars (violence) and Chiron (healing).  That occurs very close to the eastern border of Poland.  What this means is unclear, but do not be surprised if this region somehow played a pivotal role in the bombing.  The UK is not clearly aspected, but both Paris and Stockholm  have the Node on the Ascendant, implying that a turning point (at least one if not many) has been reached in both places.  Most interesting would be to know what links exist between Paris and Stockholm.   The aforementioned Mars line passes near Krakaw, Budapest, and Rome.  Finally, that same Mars line, along with a Neptune line to the east, “bracket” much of Eastern Europe.  Here is the map:

Why you need to really watch your mouth on March 30th.

What you say on Tuesday March 30th could have pretty serious consequences. And, if you are at all prone to “road rage,” then you better take a taxi, bus, or train.

Tuesday March 30th will have a series of “Double Yod Keys” that include a square of Mars and Mercury. By itself, a Mars and Mercury square can cause trouble. But with the Double Yod Key (DYK), mouth in motion before brain in gear can have lasting consequences.

Double Yod Keys, as a pattern, have only recently been recognized and discussed.  “Yods” are called “Fingers of God” and mark points where major decisions often must be made.  These kinds of decisions tend to persist. And, the failure to decide is (usually) the worst of all.  The parable of “Lot’s Wife” applies here: pick one and never look back.  With a Double Yod Key, two major decisions must be made. Actually, a third decision is made as well: of these two key issues, which is more important. (Be careful before you ask “who is it going to be, me or the dog?”)

A DYK always contains a square, and this one has Mercury (Communications) in Square (Conflict) with Mars (War and Fights).  Said differently, for many people this will be a dangerous time when they say or do things they regret.  In rush hour, this could be a particularly bad road rage incident.

Like any other energy, this can be harnessed productively.  But, the tendencies here are misunderstandings that explode into events with unintended consequences.  Chart + list of other DYK’s (Only the March 30th ones have the Mercury / Mars square) follows, with the March 30th periods in BOLD.

The East Coast of the US (particularly DC to Philly) picks up the Saturn energy here, but the rest of the US, UK, and most of Europe is generally unaffected.  (Of course, certain individuals will be highly affected.)

Globally, the main cities affected are Tokyo, Beijing, Hanoi, Darwin, and Central Australia (especially near Adelaide). I believe Delhi may feel some impact from this as well, and, if any major event occurs, India has the potential to provide leadership in healing afterwards. 2010 Spring Equinox Post Hoc (After the Fact) Analysis

Barbara Hand Clow has an interesting article with a different viewpoint on the Equinox.  She presents a meditation (many people are searching for that) along with an analysis.  She focuses on the T-Square between Sun / Saturn / Pluto.

An Equinox is a Type of “Solar Return”


From a certain vantage point, a solstice or equinox chart is an annual “return.”  Since such as “Solar Return” happens when the Sun is at precisely the same point each year, one can argue that the “Sun disappears.” That means that the Moon becomes the most important object in the sky, hence the earlier article about the Algol Moon.  (In an odd way, this is a wee bit like a Solar Eclipse.)

Midpoint of Venus and Jupiter replace the Sun this year

With the Sun gone, and the Moon analyzed earlier, analysis of the T-Square should begin with Venus and Jupiter.  Venus and Jupiter are exactly 16 degrees, each, from the 0 Aries point; they are equidistant.  This midpoint is less that a degree from the 0 point, meaning (for most purposes) it is exact.  It is also less that a degree from the opposition to Saturn (it is exact).  Here is the chart, with midpoints.

Aspects to, and Uses of, Venus / Jupiter Midpoint

The midpoint of Venus and Jupiter is likely the most beneficial midpoint that can be experienced, and this means the possibility of a very good year.  (Of course, some people will benefit more than others, depending on their natal chart.  Unfavorable aspects can still exist in relation to the natal chart.  And, even if the natal chart is superb, the person can choose to squander the opportunity.)

Sometimes astrology says what we already know, and it does so here:  Venus (prosperity and harmony) will grow (Jupiter, the great amplifier) if we both (1) work for it and (2) eliminate the unnecessary (both of these are opposing Saturn).  A great opportunity exists this year; this is the “brass ring” for some people.

Pluto, square and completing the T-Square, says to achieve this we must undergo profound transformation.  In some settings someone must die, but someone will be born.  (Or “one door closes, and another opens.”)  This is not necessarily a “natural person”; it could be a business, relationship, building, community, or maybe just a very entrenched habit that has outworn its usefulness.

The Answer is not in the T-Square; The Answer is in the Triangle of Potential

But, still, the answer is not quite found in any of these.  Because of the “Triangle of Potential” (mentioned earlier), with Mars at 0 Leo, action and leadership will be necessary.  Pluto indicates a possible change in leadership.  Pluto inconjunct (aka quincunx) Leo indicates a dissatisfaction with leadership.

(I am not speaking of Presidential leadership, though I could be.  The populace routinely becomes disenchanted with Presidents as campaign promises routinely remain unfulfilled.  But, I am talking local leadership.  A patriarch or matriarch in a family or business may need to move into an advisory role, lest that family or business disintegrate altogether.)

But, again, Mars is the key here: take action, if you want to grow (Jupiter) your prosperity (Venus) through the hard work and self-sacrifice (Saturn) and losses (Pluto) that are likely to come to pass.

Personal and Global Communications will blend and will be essential to the change

Mercury and Uranus form a midpoint that even more precisely addressed the T-Square (and the Triangle of Potential).  Both govern communication (and Mercury governs transportation), with Mercury being more private and personal and Uranus being more public and global, so communications of all kinds will be at the center of achievement.

In fact, the most important achievements this year may involve communications and how we communicate with each other, as personal and global communications become intertwined and blended.  Perhaps this is a harbinger of 2012, and the changes yet to come.

Make One Wish, and then Work for It

As pointed out in a comment by a reader, besides Moon Conjunct Algol, the next most important thing about this particular Spring Equinox is the relationship between Sun, Saturn, and Mars. The three of them form a pattern, probably one of the Huber patterns. At least one site describes it as a “Triangle of Potential“:

A Triangle of Potential is another fairly common pattern that comprises a trine, sextile and opposition, in other words two soft aspects and one hard aspect. In this case, the planet at the apex of the trine and sextile is the key to solving the opposition. The person will experience struggles, but by utilizing the energy of the trine and sextile will be able to make them work, so to speak. In many respects the hard aspects are what motivate us. If life was always easy we’d have a lot less incentive to grow. A Triangle of Potential will give a person just enough friction to utilize latent talents and abilities that otherwise might lie dormant.

So, the “gift” of this equinox is given by the results of  hard work.  (That is good for a number of countries in Western Europe.)

The planets and signs here give the potential to accomplish, and accomplish much. Both the Sun and Saturn are at the first degrees of their respective signs, and the Sun is at what many consider to be the most important point in the zodiac. The “solution” is found in Mars at 0 Leo (also an important point); Mars has just begun forward motion. That means old projects are being resurrected and given a second chance.

Two paths exist here: the fierce anger of Mars in early Leo and the stubborn unyielding destructive power of Algol, or using the focus given by the Taurus Moon and the energy of forward Mars in early Leo to get something done. And, by “get something done,” I do not mean death or destruction. The potential here is to bring about lasting change (Saturn is very permanent, the “bones” of anything). So, as you celebrate this Equinox, think about the one major change you want to accomplish this year, and put all of your energy into accomplishing that.

This Equinox is extraordinarily “lucky” for the UK, Spain, and most of France. With a Jupiter line to the west, and a Uranus line to their east (going directly through France), these countries will have much luck. The peoples there will experience revelations and insights. Government secrets will probably be revealed, but in hindsight it will have been for the best. Neptune in Aquarius brings deceit (and diseases such as H1N1) to the people of the world, but Chiron within a few degrees will fight for the education of the people and therefore for the revelations of deceit that Neptune can provide.)

Terrorists will probably give another try in these regions, but these aspects indicate that they will be discovered (Pisces) and brought to Justice (another aspect of Jupiter). Terrorists, as a category, are people who WANT to be the government, and they will come under as much public scrutiny as the official governments. They may come under more, much more.

Of course, the terrorists who carry out the operations for their puppetmasters will see themselves as martyrs (Pisces), but their attempts this year will force unanticipated (Uranus) revelations (Pisces). More and more “suicide bombers” will be captured alive, and this will lead to the downfall of their puppetmasters. The net result will be the populace in general will become wiser about these things, and a needed transformation will likely come to pass. (The possibility exists that some lives may be lost in this process, but do not be surprised if the terrorists are caught without any loss of life.)

With the Uranus line going through France, France may have a bit of a revolution of some kind. Not an actual revolution, probably, but a major shift in consciousness. The possibility exists that France will come down hard, very hard, on terrorism. They may come down the hardest of anyone yet, even beyond Israel and Germany.)

If you live in France, or visit, take many pictures. Tourism on “safe” days is recommended. One year from now, major changes will have happened, and you will want the photographs and memories.

Frankfurt, Stuttgart, and Milan will experience key issues with productivity this year. The same will apply to both Denmark and Norway. The current economic conditions will continue to plague them, and so-called “weak sisters” in the manufacturing sectors will go out of business. Construction might pick up some. Particularly in these key areas, the businesses who survive will become strong global competitors.This particular aspect will leave them very “lean.”

This may apply to Corsica and Sardonis as well. We do not normally think of these last two as manufacturing powerhouses, so perhaps the shipping business will improve for them. Regardless, a window of opportunity for them to improve their position in commerce exists. For all of these areas, from Norway to Sardonis, expect a kind of tough “no nonsense” approach to life to emerge.

Naples, Prague, and Berlin, and to a much lesser degree Rome, will have to wrestle with a Pluto line. This generally affects Sweden as well. In a sense, the problems here are very similar to those faced by China, described below. Potential for financial gain is very good, but these countries need to watch for industrial accidents, particularly those involving toxic wastes or possibly nuclear wastes.

Stockholm may have some very important messages for the rest of us. Solutions for certain kinds of problems are likely to be found there, and even for solutions not found there Stockholm may become a communications center for sharing ideas. The Nobels awarded there this year may be especially important.

Finally, Smolensk and Kiev have a Venus line passing through them. In a word, this could be a very prosperous year for them. Maybe they will get their problems under control and find themselves in a more favorable position in the global community.

2010 Spring Equinox in Asia

The immediately preceding article on Australia and New Zealand immediately generated traffic from Japan and China. Here is a similar analysis for much of the rest of the Pacific Rim. [Also, if you are looking for the Algol article (A Bad Moon aRisin’), it is two (2) articles down.If you request of map, such as UK or Europe, please let me know by comment.]

Japan: generally is safe compared to other areas. However, northernmost and southernmost parts of Japan have a Nodal Ascendant line passing through them. This is the line of hard karma. It is not necessarily bad, but it means that unfinished business from the past generally needs to be wrapped up to make way for what is next. This does not tend to be a line that kills people, but it can taste like unpleasant cough medicine.

Philippines: the same Nodal Ascendant line that affects Japan affects Manila and the rest of the Philippines. Some very powerful hard karma needs to be worked out here. Until then, everyone is stuck. (So, take the medicine. You know what it is, right?)

China: this analysis cannot cover all of China because the country, and topic, is too large. However, a Pluto Ascendant line passes near both Beijing and Hong Kong. The favorable reading of this is “other people’s money” which means that the financial markets have great potential to profit. Standing nearby to bring their downfall is the presence of toxic substances (such as lead based paint) in manufacturing and problems with environmental pollution from toxins. Wherever this Pluto line is, it can signal great activity by intelligence agencies, assassination particularly by poisoning, and significant issues with secrets. With Jupiter & Uranus in Pisces, certain state secrets may be leaked that China would prefer to remain secret.

Delhi and Bombay are both near the Moon line, which in this chart is malefic. This region of India, along the Moon line, will have increased concerns regarding spillover of terrorism from Pakistan. As important as state security is, India will prosper best if it can preserve its democracy and related civil rights. This can be a very tricky balance under these circumstances.

A Saturn line passes near Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. For Bangkok, this signals increased economic pressure from the global recessing as travel tends to continue to cool off. However, once the recession is over, Bangkok will be left very strong for having eliminated the unnecessary.

Kuala Lumpur is more problematic. They are caught between a Saturn line and a Pluto line, conceivably the worst possible place to be (except on top of Algol). This part of the world, from Kuala Lumpur to Darwin is experiencing, and will continue to experience, great strife. They have a combination of the problems of China (described above) and those of Bangkok. However, if you live here or travel here, you should take pictures of even the most ordinary of things. Transformations are coming, and things will look very different somewhere not too far down the line.

Despite a few dire predictions, the Equinox can be a time to have fun and relax. Please keep your fun safe.

2010 Fall Equinox: Solar Map for Australia and New Zealand

Readers come to this blog from all parts of this blog. Australia and New Zealand need their own independent Solar Map for the Spring Autumnal Equinox. The chart is interesting, and it expands the perspective of all readers from that of a Northern Hemisphere perspective.

The star of this chart is Canberra. To speak in the vernacular (your astrologer lives in a Dallas suburb), the associated Chiron line is “smack dab on top” of Canberra. Neptune is close by. Here is the map, with more commentary below:

As you can see, Perth and the region Northwest of Darwin, are plagued by a Mars line. Frankly, this looks dangerous. Remember, in the mythology, Mars is the “God of War.” Unrest appears to be likely here.

Most of the East Coast is captured between Neptune and Chiron, with Canberra especially affected. Since Canberra is the capital, some source of confusion may exist here. The combination of these two, Neptune and Chiron, put this part of the world especially at risk for a H1N1 resurgence. However, programs involving the arts (Neptune), education (Chiron), and healthcare (also Chiron) may make great progress this year. Below is the chart of Canberra. (Aspects are not included because, except for the ascendant, they are the same as the chart in the previous article.) Also noteworthy: something involving great luck (possibly oil exploration / drilling?) will hit New Zealand this year, probably in the Southwest tip or just offshore.

Algol and the 2010 Spring Equinox

We usually think as the start of Spring as a happy time, and Friday Saturday March 20th of 2010 will certainly mark a turning point.  Perhaps the most important point in this particular equinox is the Moon at 26 degrees of Taurus.  That is where the star Algol (“The Ghoul”) is located.  Generally, Algol is considered “unfavorable” or “malefic.”

We do not usually think of a “ghoul” as being the icon of the First Day of Spring.  Of course, if your thing is casting spells, this might be an especially powerful time for you.  I might add, the rest of this article is not about landscaping and gardening.  However, if you do participate in rituals and celebrations, you might choose add an extra measure of care this year the Friday night before the Equinox, lest March be the cruelest month (instead of April).

Most astrologers would say Algol is the most malefic of stars since it is associated with murders, serial killers, and beheadings. Especially beheadings.  Reputedly, “Saddam Hussein [had] Mercury on Algol (torture lover), [and]  Richard Speck, murder[er] of 8 nurses had Pluto on Algol.”

Algol is a bad dude, and Moon for the equinox is conjunct it.  For beginners reading this, the Moon is supposed to be both our innermost self and the part of us that is nurtured and can nurture.  The Moon is the most comfortable place in our home, and it is our final resting place (grave).  Algol has alternatively been called the head of the demon, Satan, and the Medusa’s Head.  The moniker of “Medusa’s Head” comes from Ancient Greece. The severed head of Medusa destroyed anything its gaze fell upon.

The Moon conjunct Algol is like your mother, sister, daughter, or best female friend falling in love with the worst possible person imaginable.  Your mom + Charles Manson doing LSD together and planning something really scary.

Some people have had very bad experiences with Algol.

I do not know what Moon on Algol will mean for us, but here are some possibilities:

  • The war in Iraq gets worse instead of better, with some of the worst / bloodiest / most tragic battles or events of the war.
  • More mass killings by terrorists
  • Possible expose’ of one or more serial killers of large proportions (over 20, and probably over 50 killings)
  • And more: death by “beheading, hanging, choking, asphyxiation, electrocution, murder, [and] mob violence.”

Certain kinds of other events may occur:

  • Landmark movies about the kind of events described above.  (Consider, already, the winner of the Oscars: “The Hurt Locker.”)
  • An unanticipated event involving Mick Jagger (reputed to have Moon on Algol, so this is a sort of “return” for him)
  • A romantic event, perhaps peculiar, for Prince William (reputed to have Venus on Algol)

And, that’s the GOOD news!  (Just kidding.  That’s the worst part.)

To be expected: typical news articles like this one from CNN, the Lindsay Lohan Muse Photoshoot Video (notice how it tends to be dark and distrubing), child star Amanda Bynes posing for Maxim in lingerie, and the NY Times Article “Drug Slayings in Mexico Rock U.S. Consulate.”  These are probably the beginning of a long chain.  And, as disturbing as this is, we might have another event similar to the Virginia Tech slayings.

I used the “Wheel and Data” page from Solar Fire to produce this chart.

Although astrology charts address a number of issues, I am only going to address one particular issue here: certain women, tonight, will have to choose between one of two men.

One man is young, handsome, and dashing.  Well, I am not sure about handsome, and he might not be all that young.  But, for many the chances are good that he is an athlete, a police officer, or a member of the military.  He is the kind of guy who will defend your honor, and he will punch someone in the face to do it.

He could be a sure bet, but he does have some downsides.  He has a temper and might be violent.  Sometimes he rushes in where others fear to tread.  Based on his temper, he might hurt you.  To be sure, he will say he is sorry afterwards, and he will charm you.  But, this could easily become a very destructive pattern.

The other man is probably older.  He could be an authority figure, but probably not a police officer.  He would be more like an attorney or perhaps a judge.  He could be in the military, but he would be a seasoned leader, perhaps of the platoon.  He could easily be a banker or business owner.  He is stable, and he probably has money while everyone else does not during this recession.

But he has his dark side as well.  He may be developing problems: dental problems or baldness or other aspects of aging.  You will always be in competition with his career or his business, and sometimes the business will win.  You will feel like a neglected “business widow” or a “Trophy Wife” who must be perfect and greet the public to assure his position.  He probably will not hit you, but sometimes he can seem mean.  If you are a spender, then this is not the guy for you because he will be a penny pincher at heart.  Violate the family budget and it could mean real trouble.

If some of you (I am assuming the female readers and not the guys) are wondering if you will be satisfied with either one, let me assure you that you will not.  No matter how WELL things work out, you will always WONDER what would have happened if you picked the other guy.

If you pick the attorney / judge / corporate guru / Bill Gates (just kidding, Bill, we all know that you are, in fact, stunningly generous), then in your moments of boredom you will wonder what would have happened if you had picked “the exciting guy.”  And, if you pick the exciting guy, you will wonder “why is this happening again” as he gets in yet another fight, this time with the guy turning off the cable because the bill was not paid.  No matter which one you pick, you will always wonder.  YOUR KARMA (Ladies) will be to COMPLETELY let go of the other “path” (guy).  Failure to do so will bring you the worst possible result.

How bad can it get?  You’ll feel like a character in this Eric Roberts movie.

This brings up another topic.  Some of you ladies are cheating on your husband.  He is the “Saturn Character” (older, possibly balding or dental, maybe a manager or business man).  Well, this chart has maps (for beginners) to decode planets, signs, and aspects.  If you use the maps to decode the “Midpoints” section, you’ll find the following:  (1) The Moon is in a relationship with the midpoint of Mars and Saturn (and, specifically, each of those is quincunx, forming a “yod” or a DECISION THAT MUST BE MADE); AND (2) Uranus (accidents, surprises, and unexpected events) is in a relationship with Venus (women) and Jupiter (the big amplifier that makes everything BIG).

This latter aspect Uranus conjunct midpoint of Venus and Jupiter has several meanings.  Some people will win BIG tonight.  But, all three are in the sign of Pisces (revelations, self-undoing, and sometimes hidden enemies (that gossipy next door neighbor)).  So, if you are cheating on hubby, chances are good that will be revealed tonight.  AND, tonight he might have the energy to tell you to get out (if he is Saturn) or leave after he either beats you (Mars) or arrests you (also Mars).

Tonight can be very, very bad news for women who are cheats.  (Remember the Eric Roberts movie mentioned above?  It is based on a true story, and that woman went to prison, convicted of murder.)  Remember, also, this is a VERY old moon preceding a new moon (and that is about ENDINGS).

Guys: I am leaving it up to you to discern who you are in this drama.  Just realize that you may not be who you think you are.  The police chief could be Saturn, and the business man might be Mars after all.

5 point stellium on Monday March 15th (and Tuesday March 16th)

As you may realize from the title of this blog, the focus of this blog is planetary patterns. Monday March 15, 2010 and Tuesday March 16, 2010 will witness a five point stellium. These happen from time to time, but not everyday. This one emphasizes things Piscean.

As you can see from this chart (a SolarFire 7 chart), the Moon is very old and moving toward a New Moon.  In case what I am saying is not obvious, follow the large red lines across the middle of the chart to the group of eight (8) planets on the left hand side.  This group of eight planets can fit about five of them together in a sign or house.  Thus the “5 point stellium.”

Opinions vary about New Moons, but the traditional interpretation is unfavorable.  New Moons do govern beginnings, but they also govern endings.  Shortly after the New Moon, the Moon connects to Mercury (transportation and communication) then Uranus (accidents).

Pisces governs songs and poetry but also mis-steps, deceit, and crime of the “con-artist” variety.  Pisces also governs revelations, particularly the “slip of the tongue” accidental kind.  (Note Uranus = accidents, mentioned above.)

Since this particular one (several stellia occur in the March 15th / 16th period) occurs in rush hour for most U.S. time zones, the likelihood of auto accidents increases.  The same may be true in parts of Europe experiencing the evening rush hour.  For poets and songwriters, this can be a great time.  The rest of us need to be extra careful.

A few people will find this to be a good time to launch a diet or break an old bad habit.

Most affected: people born August 17th to September 19th.  People born February 13th to March 17th.  For these two groups especially, this will probably be either a very bad day or a very good one.  Generally: avoid major purchases if possible.  Avoid long term commitments that involve work, especially arduous work.  (You’ll be “able” to do it, but you may not like it much.)  Again, best uses: reading or writing poetry, lyrics or music.  In fact, any kind of work involving the “Nine Muses.”
