For most of today the Cancer Moon is in a very good place thanks to a sextile to the Taurus Sun midday and a late afternoon/early evening trine to Neptune in Pisces. The Cancer Moon-Taurus Sun combo is perfect for working in the garden or spending time in the natural world. Cooking is also a wonderful way to relax today. For those who don’t cook, going out to a restaurant that serves your favorite comfort foods is the way to go. Though if we overdo the food and drink earlier in the day, the Cancer Moon square to Jupiter in Libra this evening hints at unhappy tummies. 🌠☽♋🌠

The SAGITTARIUS symbol is the Centaur with the bow & arrow aimed at the Galactic Center. Chiron is also a Centaur, a mythological archetype who was a healer and a great teacher who was half immortal, half human as well as half horse. He was linked to an actual human teacher healer. 

Saturn at the Galactic Center is aiming towards itself. There is a mirroring that as above, so below and as without- meaning outside of oneself, so within.

9 Monkey / CHUEN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 9 encourages our Patience to look at the Big Picture. Monkey/CHUEN is the Master of all Art that Creates the tapestry of our life – weaving all our Experiences together. We learn that Wisdom and Experience go together, with one Truth building upon another. We miss something when we overlook the Higher Purpose of the Whole.

Tone 9 is the number of the Moon, and the aspects of the Divine Feminine for the Discernment of our Emotions.  Tone 9 also relates to “cause and effect” in matters of Spirit. Our Spiritual Experiences are balanced with the Physical World in an equal and opposite way. We have to “give up” to win, be vulnerable to find our strength, and die to be reborn. Monkey/CHUEN holds the Beauty of Every Experience in perfect balance.

April 30, 2017 (Julian 120) Saturn Square Chiron

The big news today is that Saturn (Sagittarius) squares Chiron (Pisces).  The major pain that results for many people from this aspect may have been felt yesterday.  The fastest moving planet in this combination is Saturn with a 28 year orbit; Chiron has a somewhat irregular 50 year orbit.  That means that a year for Saturn is like a day for the Moon.  We usually think of lunar aspects lasting about +/- two hours, about 1/6 of a day.  For Saturn, this would be equivalent to +/- a month.  Combined with what some have called the “Retrograde Spring” of 2017, “things” can be tough for late mutables (Gemini / Virgo / Sagittarius / Pisces in the last week of the sign).

Also suffering significantly (or, if you do not like that language, “experiencing a transformation”) are those who are having a Saturn…

The Gemini Moon is amped-up this morning by sextiles to the Uranus-Mercury conjunction in Aries. Our mental gears are racing and distractions abound. I wouldn’t plan on accomplishing much though because Mercury, Gemini’s ruler, is still retrograde and we could end up chasing our mental tails today. When Saturn in Sagittarius shows up during the afternoon to oppose the Moon, it will slow things down some. After that the Moon will be void-of-course until this evening, when she slides into Cancer. A late evening square to Venus in Aries doesn’t bode well for going out to have fun. In part because the Cancer Moon and Venus in Aries have VERY different ideas about what’s fun! 🌠☽♊🌠➱🌠☽♋🌠

That Mercury-Uranus conjunction in Aries is going to stick around until around the middle of May. However we’re going to have to wait until Mercury stations direct next week before we’ll begin to reap…

Snapshot: Late dinnertime (EST) on Saturday we will have some adjusted desires around our motivations for work, health and service. Sunday brings the 2nd round of ‘pain’ over a potential ‘crisis of faith.’ But early Monday brings a bit of magical desires to merge.

The Mean North Node has already ingressed Leo so how strong this aspect feels will depend on which Nodal measurement is strongest for us.
