This New Moon has a number of interesting patterns. Also, Jupiter is at 29 Aquarius (The “Anaretic Degree“), a place where making decisions can be difficult. This position for Jupiter also means that Jupiter is “fated” according to some, and will soon move into “too early to tell.” (We recently looked at Uranus in the Anaretic Degree of Aries in the Bonnie and Clyde death chart. We also noted Sun AND Saturn in the Anaretic Degree of different signs on March 18th, 2020, near the time when the public first went into a panic about the Pandemic of 2020.)
Just to be clear, this New Moon signals a turning point, maybe a crisis for both individuals and larger groups, maybe nations, maybe the planet (Earth).
We ignore T-Squares because they are virtually always present in some form (so we only talk about Outer Planet T-Squares or something else unusual / powerful.)
Here are the patterns we have identified associated with this New Moon:
- Kite (one clear cut kite and several “almost” kites)
- Grand Trines (these are essential for Kites to exist)
- Hele (conflicts between groups) (we predict bipartisan efforts will tend to fail at this time)
- Rosetta (conflicts within groups, shifting allegiances)
- A Double Yod Key (at least TWO (or more!) major decisions in play)
- A Square Key (two interlaced Huber Learning Triangles; lessons to be learned from the experiences at this time)
A quick summary of what these patterns mean : (1) the Kite signals an opportunity (but this is a “difficult” opportunity in that it involves Saturn and Chiron; the bottom line is you must WORK for this one!); (2) multiple grand trines are in play (many opportunities; some people will let these pass them by); (3) Hele / Rosetta patterns (treachery is afoot; conflicts exist and allegiances are shifting; “bipartisan” efforts either fail at this time or lead to unintended outcomes; politics becomes even more messy than usual); (4) a Double Yod Key (expect AT LEAST TWO, or more, major decisions at this time); and (5) a Square Key (two interlaced Huber Learning Triangles; keep notes and pay attention; you’ll learn important lessons from this period of time).

Vernal Equinox 2021 : A Worrisome Thor’s Hammer
Summary : a Thor’s Hammer at this time involving Mars (peregrine), Pluto, and Vesta is a cause for concern regarding an event involving collectives such as military, police, or allied health. This pattern at this time may signal a mass casualty on or near this date.

Thor’s Hammer : Horary Chart
Here is the horary version of the Vernal Equinox 2021 chart. I offer this first because it points out that Mars (part of the pattern) is also (1) peregrine (an unfavorable position, a “thief” of sorts) and (2) opposite the “Part of Fatality.”

The Thor’s Hammer is associated with explosions, mining disasters, airplane crashes, and train wrecks. Maybe the most notably example in recent decades is found in the birth chart of Adam Lanza (see, also this entry), the Sandy Hook School Shooter.
This particular tragedy could involve a shooter.

The possibility of a disaster worries us. We provide a United States map, below, that may identify likely geographies. (One line runs through my home state of Texas. Wasn’t the ice storm, “Winter Storm Uri,” enough?)
Events of concern may not occur “day of” the equinox. Mars perfects the square to Vesta 7 AM Sunday Morning (March 21st), and Mars perfects the sesquiquadrate to Pluto on March 23rd. The window from March 19th through March 24th should be considered “risky.”
How to proceed? (1) Stay away from dangerous people, places, and things. (2) Know that this is a an EXCELLENT time for FOCUSED EFFORT *IF* you can avoid anger despite the inevitable nuisances that will challenge. Today, and the period from March 19th to March 24th, SAFETY is the most important consideration. Everything else flows from that.
Thieves will likely be operative in this window, so keep possessions safe, also.
Hele
A Hele is also present, a sign of internal agreements in groups (such as political parties) but disputes, sometimes acrimonious disputes, between groups (such as political parties). Political events may yet heat up again.

March of 2021 is a month of important decisions. This chart has a yod, also, emphasizing that many of us will face an important decision at this time.

Venus Sextile Uranus 2016-03-02 (Double Yod Key)
Venus Sextile Uranus happens three times in 2016, and this is the first. The other two are June 12th and December 25th (Christmas Day). The aspect tends to bring kinky or unusual sex or unusual sexual relationships. Traditionally that meant LGBT, but now that those are becoming more “mainstream” it might mean other “more unusual” relationships. But, if you are LGBT, this should tend to be a good day for you.
This day has a Double Yod Key (DYK) in it from 3:32 PM CST to 9:05 PM CST. That is a period of at least two important decisions, and it could be a time of many more important decisions, the kind that tend to be “life changing.”

This DYK appears in an extended period from February 20th until March 15th that contains a Square Key. That means this period is a period of learning important “lessons.” Here is the same chart, filtered for the Square Key:

What do these two mean together? We have been learning a series of important lessons since February 20th and will continue to do so through March 14th. But today, particularly today, brings a series of important decisions to the forefront. In other language, “things come to a head.”
Oddly, though we can prepare, we cannot take truly decisive action until Friday when we have a Focused Yod (which is very good for “getting things done”). Friday requires a decision, as well, but if we make it and truly commit to one path, then we can “get things done.”

A Square Key has been present since February 20th and lasts until March 14th. A Double Yod Key (DYK) begins today at 4:16 PM CST and lasts through Friday, March 4th at 9:12 PM CST. The Double Yod Key brings us a period of several (at least two, possibly many more) important decisions, and the Square Key is a period of important (possibly life changing) “lessons.” Friday afternoon is particularly important as a Focused Yod dominates the sky from 3:32 PM CST until 9:05 PM CST. This period on Friday is an important time when we can “get things done.”
Wednesday, in particular, is a busy day in terms of lunar aspects, and these lunar aspects tend to favor fire and air signs. Everyone will be busy, and for some of you (especially fire (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) and air (Libra, Aquarius, Gemini)) will be especially busy.
Venus (Aquarius) sextiles Uranus (Aries), and some people engage in kinky sex or at least “unusual” romantic relationships. (If you have been contemplating such a thing, this is your day to “make it happen.”)
This is tainted a bit as Juno (trust and loyalty) stations retrograde today. Juno is associated, also, with female roles, notably, wife, mother, sister, and daughter; of these, it is especially associated with the wife of the philandering husband (Jupiter). In any situation, trust issues will come to the forefront today, and you may need to eject someone (maybe even a group) from your life.
Hygeia and Uranus are quadrinovile. Quadrinovile is associated with powerful insights (sometimes “far out” metaphysical aspects) that open the door to new skills and technologies that completely alter how “things are done.” Sometimes these are called “disruptive technologies.” In this case, on one side, we have the “health and healthcare” issues of Hygeia and on the other we have “computers, internet, electronics, social workers, and radical innovations” from Uranus. We would not at all be surprised to see some major shift in the healthcare system on this date.
We note that Venus (Aquarius) sextile Uranus (Aries) AMPLIFIES the Hygeia / Uranus aspect, and Aquarius is the home for Uranus. Both Aquarius and Uranus are the home of all issues involving “computers, internet, electronics, social workers, and radical innovations.” In a word, it is the “future.” Venus is about art and love and pretty farms, but it is also finances (particularly the financial markets) and the body.
This a GREAT day to resurrect that “New Years Resolution” to improve your health but now in a more practical version that actually works. And, if you already have a version that works you can now expand it (carefully) in some creative and innovative way.
Do keep in mind that much of this “turns off” on Thursday and the windows close. If you are to get something done, do it today if you can. Friday, you will get another shot at your single most important issue.

As typically true with so many variants of this aspect, watch your words and watch your temper. But, really, this one is about decisions. A Double Yod Key is enough to tell us that more than one is in play, but a THIRD yod is present in addition to the DYK. “Should I Stay or Should I go?” You need to decide today. Yods always leave us wondering “what if” we had taken the other path, but you must decide, and a failure to decide is a decision itself. A kite is present, indicating at least one opportunity, and a Hele tells us that today is about forming long term alliances also. People will like polarize about disputes today.

New Moon 2016-02-08 (Chinese New Year Fire Monkey) Double Yod Key + Focused Yod
2016 is an “interesting” year from the perspective of astrological patterns, and we are beginning to enter what many will look back to, and consider, a magical time. Upcoming is a Valentine’s Day period (the days before and after February 14th as well as the day itself), and this New Moon sets the stage for that intricate set of pattern.
This New Moon marks the Chinese New Year and the beginning of the year of the Fire Monkey. As is true with any element / animal combination of Chinese New Years, this particular combination will not repeat again for sixty years. Since we are not specialists in Chinese Astrology, we will not discuss that further here but encourage you to read more elsewhere:
This particular New Moon (as is true with all Chinese New Year NM’s that I am aware of) is in Aquarius. That marks the beginning of a new way of thinking and new insights that precede the dreams and intuitions of Pisces that set the stage for the beginning of an entirely new (Solar) cycle (namely the Vernal Equinox, the beginning of Aries).
Aquarius is all about creative problem solving but, in the end, it is about people and reaching out to the masses to (hopefully) improve their way of life. Thus the association of Aquarius with electronics, internet, computers, cell phones, and tablets is really subservient to carrying “the message” (whatever that may be) on “the wind” (originally the mysterious phenomena of voices that traveled for, literally, miles when the weather conditions were correct but now radio (including satellite) and other electronic channels) to the masses (all of us regardless of station in life).
That said, from the perspective of astrological patterns, this NM is about DECISIONS. TWO (and only two) patterns are present: (1) a Double Yod Key; and (2) a Focused Yod. In this particular case, what we have is (1) a question (many of them, actually), and (2) an Answer (maybe “THE” answer).
If you are a regular reader of this blog, or click the DYK tag above, you can read what we have written about DYK’s before. They represent a situation in which a minimum of two decisions, and often a number of decisions, face us. Composed of two yods and a square, the DYK’s decompose into a total of four quincunx aspects. The Quincunx is all about misunderstandings resulting from limited information often under unfamiliar circumstances with deadline pressure. Invariably we are dissatisfied with the path we chose and look back on the other path nostalgically (not realizing that it might have been actually much worse).
We now present the chart for the perfection of this New Moon (NM), filtered for the DYK pattern:

We note that the square that binds this DYK together is between, on one hand, the NM pair (Sun/Moon) at 19 Aquarius and Mars at 18 Scorpio. Neither Sun nor Moon is strong in Aquarius (the sign associated with Uranus in modern astrology and one of two signs (the other is Capricorn) in traditional astrology). Both are at a disadvantage here, but they CAN gain SOME power by the coalition they have chosen to form (the NM).
Mars is at home in Scorpio (in traditional astrology, along with Aries, the true home of Mars). We note that the modern ruler of Scorpio is Pluto, currently in Capricorn (power structures in general but notably banks and financial institutions). The ruler of Capricorn is in Sagittarius currently, not a strong placement for that planet.
Scorpio tends to”govern” (or be associated with) police, intelligence agencies, surveillance, encryption, assasinations, murder, poisons, drugs (both illegal and pharma), and any variant of the “underworld” (organized crime, mafia, sewers, underground pipes, coffins underground, caves, cave-ins, burials and funerals, pyramids or any other form of crypt, root plants (carrots and potatoes) and anything else similar). Your individual situation dictates which of these apply to you individually, and the same applies to us collectively in communities, states, and nations. We add that, at the state and nation level, this TENDS to be about police and intelligence agencies.
The hint of this situation is that Mars and Sun/Moon are currently balanced and in a bit of a “stand off” where neither can win despite the current strength of Mars and weakness of Sun/Moon. Again, you will have to look at your individual situation to determine who might be the “winner” if anyone.
We could stop here, and many people would have much useful information to know how to procede on Monday. (Make certain you “clean house” on Sunday during the void and avoid any major purchases or major commitments. This is a very bad Super Bowl for some people to gamble upon; just don’t do it this time.) But, as is popularly spoken on late night television: “But wait, there’s more!”
And, there is more. That is because we have the Focused Yod which given that ONLY the DYK is present as an alternative pattern (and “The Question”), we can see that the FY gives us “The Answer” if we are paying close attention.

So, a bit weirdly (but, again, this is Aquarius), the answer is not found in Mars / Sun / Moon at all. It is found in a Jupiter / Chiron opposition. And, the interactions with Mars may be a distraction, noise that is not relevant at all to the long term “big picture” though it may seem compelling at the time.
An example of this could be a traffic ticket where you must go to court. You may need a lawyer, and if you do not take care of the matter you could be in serious trouble in the future. But, it is mostly a nuisance (in many cases it is really a tax on behavior that is not quite “perfect”), and in the long run in it contributes nothing to your well being, growth as a person, or ability to contribute in a useful way to society at large (Aquarius, again). Despite the power involved and compelling demands, it is mostly a waste of time. So, whatever it is, make a sufficient (but no more) effort to resolve it and move on with the more critically important issues.
What are the “more important issues”? First, they involve Jupiter (foreign or long distance travel, religions in general and popes and gurus in particular, law and lawyers and courts, and universities and higher education), and they involve a decision between Vesta (usually tradition but sometimes kinky sex or prostitution) and Sun/Moon (mother + father; a married couple; or any other male / female pair). Jupiter is also very much about earning and spending money, and it tends to do this in a big way.
Chiron is really a different face of Jupiter, more specific and more narrow. In traditional astrology, Jupiter also ruled health, disease, and healthcare. (Arguably it does in modern astrology as well, but Neptune / Pisces is more directly associated with that set of issues.) That said, Chiron is a more narrow subset of the Jupiter issues: primarily teaching of any kind (including higher education) and health and healthcare. Obviously combinations apply: the teaching of healthcare to nurses and physicians is a particularly Chironic kind of activity and Chiron would tend to trump either Jupiter or Neptune in this area if a disagreement (square, quincunx) occurred. We also note that Chiron is known as the “Wounded Healer” and is associated with the teacher (or practitioner) trying to heal some problem within themselves. And, Chiron specifically deals with “mentor” relationships.
So, how to interpret this? We will provide two scenarios to illustrate. Consider for example, that you live in the United States and have received an offer to study (education = Chiron) in China (or vice versa). Regardless of which choice you make you will likely need to spend much money (Jupiter) and travel to a foreign land (also Jupiter). If you do choose to travel, you may have to deal with certain legal issues (also Jupiter). In particular, your desire is to become a nurse or physician (or accupuncturist) (very Chiron). A rather progressive couple (Sun/Moon in Aquarius) has agreed to host you in the foreign country, and their offer seems particularly attractive. But, staying home and following a traditional path (Vesta) has much appeal as well. That path has less risk, but also represents less gain. Which decision will you make?
Here is a totally different scenario. You have been ill for some time (Chiron) and are exploring healing options (Chiron). Either one will cost quite a bit of money (Jupiter) and one of the options requires that you travel to a distant (Jupiter) healthcare center, a teaching (Jupiter) facility that engages in a number of innovative healthcare procedures (NM Aquarius). The travel and accomodations (Jupter) will be expensive, and some of the treatments you may have to pay for yourself (also expensive and Jupiter). The other option involves going to the hospital near home that everyone else goes to (Vesta). That is cheaper, but you know that the doctors are not very progressive and are worried that your health may deteriorate if you choose that option.
Which of these more closely fits your situation? Keep in mind that Aquarius tells us the answer might be “neither,” and it then becomes your job to take these ideas and be responsible for crafting your own solution.
But, whatever choice you make, this New Moon represents a profound opportunity for some people.

Double Yod Key 2015-07-10 starts early on July 10, 2015 in the U.S. (by 8 AM in the UK) and lasts until the end of July 11, 2015.
Like all DYK’s, the message is straightforward: you are facing a minimum of two critically important choices that must be made on Friday or at the latest Saturday. Note that these precede the Sun/Uranus Square of July 12, and no matter which options you choose you will find yourself dissatisfied (and possibly upset on Sunday / Monday). (The DYK is made of three “quincunx” patterns, and those are the patterns of misunderstanding, miscommunication, and ultimately dissatisfaction with the choice made.)

The South Node is in the mix, and that represents “taking the easy way out.” Just realize that “taking the easy way out” may not really be so “easy” this time. Repeating old behaviors does not necessarily benefit you. The best option is the one that is truest not only to who you are but who you are becoming.
In any case, you must act quickly because your options will likely become closed by Sunday.

Following soon on the heels of the July 1 Full Moon is a Double Yod Key. It tells us that once again we face a series of critically important decisions. Having been blessed with the opportunity of Tuesday (Grand Trine) and power of Wednesday (Full Moon), we must now decide what to keep and what to let go. Here is the chart:

The days from April 26th through May 1st of 2015 are pattern rich. We will likely also discuss more patterns that will occur in early May in another post that covers patterns after May 1st.
We begin with the Double Yod Key (DYK) that starts April 26th and continues through May 1st. This is one of the “longer acting” patterns of this period (we are looking at primarily April 28th through May 1st with some patterns extending on each side of that range). It colors all of the other patterns we will subsequently discuss.

That pattern tells us that, once again, we are in a pattern of making important decisions. However, as we will note momentarily, this period is about more than decisions. This period is also about action.
A Hele is in play from April 27th to April 29th, and that tells us that people will tend to polarize on issues and form coalitions:

Next, we present the Focused Yod of April 28th. April 28th is an important day on which many people can ‘get things done” and will have certain opportunities open to them. The Focused Yod tells us that you will need to make a decision and then take action to “get things done.”

April 28th contains two grand trines. These present days where things might feel so good that we let the golden opportunity breeze by us. Don’t make that mistake. Keep your eyes open.

A mystic rectangle is also present on April 28th. This one tells us to take notice of health care issues and to take care of those problems. Identify them, knock them out, and move forward.

Things change on April 29th as a Thor’s Hammer (God’s Fist) comes into play. This provides plenty of energy and an urge to get things done, but be careful not to become angry and do something rash:

A Quintile Kite from April 30th to May 3rd tells us that this is a period where we can be productive in terms of creativity. At least write down the ideas, and better yet develop them to fruition.

May 1st things become dicey. A Grand Cross tells us to watch our tempers but, again, gives us energy to get things done.

Note TWO DYK’s in play in the early hours of April 23 (in North America, but fully affecting Europe on this day). A single DYK indicates that decisions need to be addressed. With TWO DYK’s in play, almost all of the planets are consumed with decision making. You will find that you need to decide which decisions are most important (a meta-decision).

Solar Eclipse (and New Moon) of March 2015

This New Moon (NM) is also a Solar Eclipse (SE). It contains a complex parable of allegiances, hard and fast, during a period of multiple changing allegiances. As we tell this tale, keep in mind that it is a metaphor, and the particulars in your individual situation may vary from what we describe. And since the Vernal Equinox of 2015 follows this eclipse later the same day, we know that there will be more to follow in this story.
That said, on one side we have the angry wife who has been betrayed one time too many and her austere and bony father who has no sense of humor. On the other side, we have the husband, a lyrical poet and musician who likely abuses alcohol or drugs or both along with his friend the healthcare professional. Indeed, both of them might work in healthcare.
You should not take this metaphor too literally. The “angry wife” might be an angry husband, and the “bony father” might be his battleaxe mother. The “lyrical poet” of a husband might be a wife who works part-time as a prostitute to support her meth habit, and the friend in “healthcare” might be supplying the meth. And, somewhere in this drama, you have a role even if that role is the role of the audience.
Before you decide that one side is “better” than the other, keep in mind that the “angry wife” might indeed a be a hellion that no one can live with, and the humorless father might just be a bitter old man looking for yet another victim to expend his wrath upon. Maybe our lyrical poet / alcoholic has just finished treatment and, now clean and sober, he wonders how he ever became involved with these awful people. (He must have been drunk!) And, his friend the healthcare professional agrees.
Every story has two sides.
But, in this story, the angry wife and humorless father will tend to be the “winner” for the time being. That is, “sorta.” “Sorta” the winner. But chances are good the divorce attorney(s) who blow things out of proportion will be the real winners. (More on that later.)
Before we reach the story, we should point out that this is a Solar Eclipse, and such eclipses tend to signify changes that last for months and years. This is a bit more than an ordinary new moon, and it happens early on the same day as the Vernal Equinox that follows (the “first day of Spring,” which is the astrological New Year and sets the tone for the remainder of the year. Compare: the Vernal Equinox of 2010 which preceded a series of disasters including the WVA Mine Explosion and the Deepwater Horizon. And since the final Uranus Square Pluto exact square preceded this eclipse only by a few days, we can say that the times, and people, are “not entirely stable.” (More about Uranus Square Pluto.)

At this point we should offer our “reference pages” (previous analyses that might interest you):

- Mercury Direct Station of February 11, 2015 two yods emphasized (similar to what is described next)
- Full Moon of February 3, 2015 a focused yod….
See a pattern yet? (Yods do not happen “all the time,” but it SEEMS that way since August 2014!)
So, if you have visited this site before and read the recent full moon and new moon posts, you know that this means that many of us will face two decisions. We tend to call these patterns “double yod keys,” (DYK) though SolarFire 8 did not identify this pattern specifically as being a DYK. A DYK, two or more yods together at the same time, signify AT LEAST TWO decisions in play, and possibly a number more. This eclipse is a “fork in the road” for many, and we have had many “forks in the road” since August of 2014.
Now to our story. A Hele identifies our players. On one side we have Juno (“angry wife”) and Saturn (“humorless father”) in a trine. On the other side, we have Neptune (“lyrical poet but maybe alcoholic”) and Hygeia (“healthcare professional”) on the other side in a similar alignment. Neither side really likes the other, and neither side is budging in its position:

March has been a month of polarization and allegiances. Where you stand on the issues that face you could be a function of where you stood at the time of the recent full moon (FM).
“Things” could become rather dicey in this situation. Maybe some third parties become involved (police?) and some otherwise innocent and unarmed person gets shot. (That seems to be a theme lately.) Maybe someone or something “goes boom.” We say this because a “Thor’s Hammer” is in play involving Jupiter (who often blows things out of proportion), the eclipse itself, and Pallas (the warrior goddess). While we do not know exactly who these players are (except maybe Jupiter), we do know that NONE of them are the four disputants (Saturn, Juno, Hygeia, or Neptune, aka father, wife, friend or husband).

Oddly, we might have the “friend in healthcare” as the instigator of any conflict, given the position of Hygeia in a T-Square. With the Uranus / Pluto square having recently culminated, we see a potential for awful things to happen. (Hollywood movies might emerge from these stories.)

A grand fire trine (GT) is emerging, and as always seems to be true in almost any situation, some people will have an opportunity to profit or benefit from this conflict. That opportunity will have a window that continues mostly through March 25th but a few windows will be open as late as March 29th.

This GT favors the angry wife (Juno) and humorless father (Saturn) and their allies (the Eclipse itself). (The lyrical poet Neptune and healthcare friend Hygeia are left out of this powerful allegiance.) But, let’s be clear, the biggest winner in all this conflict will be the one who “blows things out of proportion” (Jupiter, the divorce attorney(s) (who may be even more of a philanderer than our alcoholic husband!)).
And we see that level of power and influence in this version of the chart:

Notice that everything “points” to Jupiter, the real “winner” in this war.

Full Moon January 2015

The Double Yod Key (next chart) indicates, again, that we are facing a number of important decisions. For many people individually, this will involve whether or not to maintain resolutions and whether or not to keep projects from last year or drop them. Collectively, we are still working through the issues that began last August / September and continued through December. Some of the ones that stand out the most involve conflicts between the populace and police authorities. With the movement of Saturn into Sagittarius, a major change is afoot regarding these issues.
(Why? Because the mutual reception between Saturn / Pluto is now GONE except for a few months of retrograde in 2015. The mutual support between banking / finance and legal / police / intelligence agencies is weakened by the entry of Sagittarian forces such as religious leaders into the mix. Whether the old guard wants to admit it or not, it’s a new game.)

We note that the DYK involves Sun/Pluto (slightly past conjunct), Chiron (wounded healer), Juno (trust), and the North Node (hard work and karma). No easy answers will be coming, and trust is fragile.
We note that this FM forms a Grand Cross with the Nodes (exact).

So, to be sure, many of us will be working on New Years resolutions. This year, however, they are special. Something is “karmic” about some of them. So, maybe persistence beyond “Blue Monday” and Valentines Day might be possible.

Much of this has to do with just how bad you will feel about yourself (Moon / Saturn) if you give up so easily and so soon (South Node = taking the easy way out and repeating the familiar). So, make it something you can actually accomplish (make it measurable) and stick with it.
An examination of the Solar Maps (to follow) shows that Boston, MA and the surrounding area in New England is quite “lit up” by this FM. Here is the Grand Cross version of the chart which shows Sun / Moon / Nodes in precise alignment with the angles within one degree:

For those who do not know, that is really a rather amazing chart! A “window” is open here where someone in Boston could do something as profound as find a cure for cancer. While we do not know precisely what will happen, chances are good that something profound will happen in (or near) Boston this evening. (“Mr. Watson, come here. I need you.“) In the “low form,” with Uranus / South Node on descendant this could signify something like an east cost earthquake or plane crash. (Sigh.)

As you can see from the map, New England is quite lit up. (This is one case where you MUST click on the image to enlarge it to see what is going on. Once done, just hit the “back” button in your browser to return.)
The Saturn / Neptune Crossing (Saturn at IC (bottom of chart) and Neptune on Descendant) in Nevada near the California border is interesting. We have set this chart at Mount Montgomery NV, but arguably Goldfield NV could have been used. For conspiracy theorists, we note that all of this is not TOO far from where Area 51 allegedly exists. (Could Area 51 and Boston be linked in some important way on this evening?) Here is the chart:

If you like “ritual magic” (or maybe just to “center” yourself), a location on a nearby lake on this evening might be especially suitable for such activities! Again, with Uranus in the eighth house be careful regarding accidents. (Accidents are the “low” form; the “high” form involves breakthrough insights.)
Europe is relatively quiet. A Saturn line passes through Birmingham, England. An Astraea line passes through Germany. And a Uranus IC line passes near Prague, CZ.

For Canberra, we have omitted all aspect lines except those to Mars. (Patterns remain identical to earlier charts.) Please do note that this chart occurs on January 5th rather than January 4th due to time zone differences. With Mars sesquiquadrate the Moon and opposite Jupiter, we expect some unrest in Australia. (Actress Roseanne Barr has Moon sesquiquadrate Mars. Do you tend to imagine Roseanne as “peaceful and tranquil” or as a “source of unrest”? Ever seen her on TV? Expect controversy, more than usual, to emerge from Canberra.)
