We reach the pinnacle of our climb on 7 Deer/MANIK. At the peak of the pyramid we find our balance through an assessment from where we are. As the Day Sign of the Mayan Priest, Deer reminds us that We are Divine Agents. We are called to stop and recognize our Purpose for Being.

7 Deer/MANIK illustrates the Master Number 77 (Tone 7, Position 7).  “Number 7 relates to inner-wisdom and intuition, contemplation and discernment, understanding of others, inner-strength and tenacity. 77 acknowledges an accomplishment in our empathetic and psychic abilities, and our determination for Spiritual Enlightenment and the Awakening to our True Life Purpose.” [Sacred Scribes] This corresponds with Tone 7 as the mirror that holds the accurate reflection of our own image.

One of the up-sides to writing these newsletters is that I get to stop the outer noise of my life and ponder things more deeply and intensely than usual…deep and intense both being characteristics of Scorpio, which is our theme for November.

There’s a huge focus on the water element over the next few weeks, starting with an intense, transformational, but healing  New Moon on the 31^st October. Mercury joins the sun and the moon in Scorpio and the trio form a flowing aspect to mystical, mysterious Neptune in Pisces.

Water… water… everywhere… can you feel it?

How does the water element relate to us personally ? It represents feelings, emotions, sensitivity, compassion, empathy, flow, nurturing, connection to all that is, purification, cleaning, clearing, power, tenacity. If  water isn’t channelled, it can be overwhelming, scary and unpredictable and of…

Today is a good day to hang out with a friend or your partner. Another person may bring you some much needed comfort. Around noon, your mind and your heart will come together to focus on clearing some of the negative energy that has been coming up. Don’t be afraid to talk it out with somebody you trust.

Today, the planet that symbolizes thinking and the left, rational side of the brain, is sidling up with the Sun, the center of our solar system. And both are in Scorpio, the sign many either fear or don’t understand, so what does this mean?

Traditionally, Mercury is said to be combust by being too close to the hot rays of Sun, giving an inability to see the other side of the coin. In the sign of extremes, Scorpio, this magnifies.

So today, it’s a good day to ask: can I see the other side of an issue? Are my views limited? Is my thinking taken over by an overwhelming idea or maybe a person who clouds my thinking?

While Sun conjunct Mercury can give a sharp mind and powerful speech or writing, it’s good to remember there’s always another viewpoint, and from their perspective, it’s just as valid as yours.

It enjoys learning, socializing and taking in information from whatever source it can. It doesn’t have a long attention span, preferring to bounce around as the interest and focus shift, and when given the freedom to do so it really shines.

Okay, so Kaypacha gives us this week’s Pele Report from his own luscious backyard in Costa Rica. The Moon is in harmonizing Libra, but will be swinging on into Scorpio for the New Moon, so She will be conjunct the Sun and Black Moon Lilith until moving into Sagittarius (where Venus is currently hanging out) next Wednesday.

Venus in Sag and Saturn in Capricorn are squaring the Moon’s nodes and Mars is conjunct Pluto but is coming along to square Uranus in Aries which becomes exact Friday. Lots of big stuff going on in the stars and with each and every one of us.

I took lots of notes but have a terrible cold, but the mantra does sum things up nicely, as always: As I embrace my deep emotion…

Snapshot: Few days will provide so much personal insight as Thursday will. Noon will bring us clarifying communications and ideas about our intimate connections with other/s. But by dinnertime, our desires will be Soulfully and Karmicly squeezed like a vice. The evening could bring a bit of reprieve around our motivations.

One of roughly 6 days all year when our thoughts and ideas align with our goals and real-time/reality.
