[This article is LONG, “tl;dr” for most of you. But, some of you might like it.]
Whether or not I will perform another analysis on this topic (of Bonnie and Clyde, the ambush, and related personalities) is an open question. Sometimes even with an intent to continue, work remains unfinished.
In this entry, we will explore some basics about the death chart for “Bonnie and Clyde,” meaning Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, bank robbers in the early 1930’s ambushed on May 23, 1934 somewhere near Arcadia, Louisiana or Gibsland, probably between the two on or near Highway 80.
A Few Notes
I start with several notes.
First, the ambush by six gunmen, “law enforcement,” was led by Frank Hamer.
“[T]he police knew that Bonnie and Clyde didn’t hesitate to shoot their way out of trouble, and had loaded up on guns accordingly. They were ready to kill, and Bonnie and Clyde never fired a shot.” [emphasis added]

General Comments
I performed a search but could not find support for this statement: “Historically, the family of Frank Hamer, notably his widow, has been litigious / acrimonious regarding any questions of the actions of Frank or the ‘posse’ at the ambush of Bonnie and Clyde.”
In reality, I researched this topic (Bonnie and Clyde) a few years ago and found webpages that said almost exactly the same thing a few years ago. They seem to have disappeared, or the search engines have buried them. Therefore, I do not have the support that I like to have to make such an assertion.
What I CAN assert is this: “The highly publicized shootout brought Hamer the sort of widespread attention he despised. He said he would not attend the proposed Hamer-Gault Hero Day in Austin, and turned down all media offers to share his story of the Bonnie and Clyde investigation with the public.”

AND, going “out on a limb,” I can assert that, nearly two decades before the ambush, Hamer threatened a state representative: “And so, when [Hamer] came under investigation Hamer used the same tactics to defend himself. In December 1918, Hamer approached State Rep. José T Canales, asking for the name of the ‘[expletive]’ who had accused Hamer and other Rangers of abusing him near Rio Grande City. Hamer warned Canales to stop collecting cases of Ranger abuse, threatening, ‘If you don’t stop that you are going to get hurt.’”
AND, according to one source : “the Hamer family were no fans of the classic Arthur Penn movie. I knew that they had been greatly hurt and angered by the unfair and malicious characterization of their father at the expense of romanticizing and glorifying the road killers known as Bonnie and Clyde.”
The first source seems slightly negative but mostly neutral (law enforcement routinely maintains the “blue wall of silence,” not just Hamer), the second is quite negative (other parts of the source are more negative than the portion I excerpted), and the third is positive, verging on glowing.
Death Sentence by Ambush
As much as I can, I will try to be neutral so that you can decide for yourself. But, to be clear about my own biases, I have long thought that a cover-up happened (even with the open admission of an ambush, a murder by anyone’s standards.) (But I think the same regarding Lincoln, Huey Long, George Patton, and JFK. Frankly, I do not trust the government.)
Consider : “Common aggravating factors include: The defendant laid in wait (waited and ambushed) the victim.” Police do have “limited immunity” and so forth, but in a day and time where Officer Chauvin killed George Floyd by putting a knee on his neck (a dangerous move but arguably one not intended to cause death), if we had cell phone video footage of the B&C ambush, my guess is that we would at least see grand jury hearings come out of it.
Maybe the problem is that the event happened in 1934. And, I am left wondering, just how many people out there would turn back the clock to “the good ole days” given a chance. (Shudder.)
Let us be clear: Bonnie and Clyde were ruthless serial killers who “murdered at least nine police officers and four civilians.” [But, John Douglas, who founded the FBI BAU, would not coin the term “serial killer” for at least four more decades.]

Three Points
I am not painting Bonnie and Clyde as angels or “folk heroes.” That is not my point. (They were ruthless killers, no doubt about it.) More specifically, I have two points with this article : (1) to explore a REMARKABLE death chart of famous criminals killed by ambush by law enforcement (at least one of the law enforcement had threatened a state representative) and (2) to question the narrative that we have been given, one that is “fuzzy” from the outset.
And, if I had a hidden third point it would be this : to COMMEND officers such as Chief Maris Herold of the Boulder Police Department, as well as the members of her department, who were able to capture a dangerous murderer, a spree killer who had killed ten, without killing the suspect or any further loss of life. Without capture of suspects, our chances of identifying factors that precipitated the killings approach zero, at least any that are based on subsequent interviews or assessments.
AND, “due process” is a critically important pillar in our society. Ambushes on a country road on a spring morning are NOT due process.
OK : Four points!
Jeffrey Dahmer
Before we go any futher, the date here caught my eye. The position of the Sun is REMARKABLY close to that of the Jeffrey Dahmer natal chart (1 Gemini on May 21st). I will not duplicate that chart here or dig into it, presenting links instead. But, consider the possibility that 1 Gemini is malefic.
Death Chart
Similar to the Atlanta Shooter Chart and the Boulder CO Shooter Chart, this is a death chart and it has “the ruler of the eighth in the tenth.” In this case, the eighth house cusp is in Aquarius, and the modern ruler of Aquarius is Uranus. Uranus is in the tenth house of this chart in Aries. This points out that the first Uranus return of this chart has occurred. Since Uranus is about “surprises” (and ambushes in murders), we consider it to be particularly important here. Maybe the passage of eighty four years, along with the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Botham Jean will give all of us hope that homicidal violence by “police officers” will be halted. Non-lethal means are available for many situations, but, except for tasers, are almost never used. That needs to change.
But, this is a death chart, and “ambush” is emphasized by the role of Uranus.
Edit : Somehow, the first time around, I missed that Uranus in this chart is in the “Anaretic Degree.” The Anaretic Degree indicates “fate” or “karma,” something that can no longer continue. A change must happen. Last year, in 2020, I wrote about this (March 18th through 19th of 2020: Sun in Pisces, Anaretic and Saturn in Capricorn, Anaretic) about the time the “Toilet Paper Panic of 2020” was under way.
[Edit continues: ] As I think about this, both the ambush of B&C as well as Uranus leaving Aries (a bit more than eighty four years ago), I can see the “shift”: Bonnie and Clyde were slightly more modern (automatic weapons) versions of Old West bank robbers in an era where news via telegraphy had given way to broadcast radio and travel by passenger rail was giving way to the early incarnations of automobiles.
[Edit continues: ] Thinking about it, by the time the movie was made and released in 1968, radio was yielding to television, and automobiles had transformed from the Model A into the Mustang and Camaro (among others). Another shift was underway, and we knew it. Many thought the laser would be a weapon (rather than the foundation technology on which fiber optic based broadband), and many of us suspected that the replacement of the vacuum tube by transistor heralded another major shift. With smart phones and the Internet, another one has come to pass as Uranus traversed Aries again, entering Taurus again. The Pandemic has loosely replicated aspects of the Great Depression, and, collectively, we continue to struggle against these circumstances. Is World War III waiting for us?
Rectification and Timing
Timing is in question in this chart. Apparently, the shooters (law enforcement) waited TWO HOURS before any transport of the two people they shot was attempted. Why? Service times by ambulances in urban areas by the late twentieth century that exceeded eleven minutes were considered “long.” Granted, this was rural Northern Louisiana in 1934, but TWO HOURS? What was going on? Were the “lawmen” waiting for the mortally wounded to die a lingering death so that all possibility of testimony in subsequent hearings would be eradicated?
In modern settings, that alone would be murder. In many (most?) jurisdictions, once deadly force has been used, and once the threat has been neutralized (remember, Bonnie and Clyde did not fire even a SINGLE shot!), a duty to render aid becomes in force. (This is not true in ALL jurisdictions.)

Rectification
Rectifying this chart has been difficult. Some reports claim that the ambush was “shortly after sunrise.” While that does put the Sun in the 12th house (of “self-undoing”), it is not a good chart for this. A later time, between 8 AM and 8:30 AM, is better. I call these charts #1 and #2
Another report claimed the ambush started near “9:15 AM.” I do not believe that either. By the time that chart was in play, the ambush was over. I call the 9:15 AM chart “Chart #3.”
A rectified chart for 9:15 AM, putting the time significantly earlier at 8:58, looks right. This is also labeled “Chart #3” though, arguably, this chart is “Chart #4.”
We will explore why chart #4 looks correct in more detail later. For now, this chart has (1) Venus conjunct the Part of Fatality (AND close to the top of the chart, the powerful “MC” position (Midheaven)); (2) Pluto in the 12th house near the ascendant (“angular”); and (3) (if this time is correct) Jupiter (growth, expansion) is on the 4th House Cusp (“IC,” the “bed,” grave, or final resting place) and (4) as mentioned previously, the ruler of the eighth in the tenth.
Here is the chart (in Horary format) filtered for the strongest aspects (most precise):
Sun and Moon (“the Lights“) are both PEREGRINE in this chart. Noel Tyl wrote : “When the Sun or Moon is peregrine, we have a core development issue focus: I like to say that the individual learns very soon in life that he or she is basically untethered.” In this sense, the Sun and Moon are excellent significators for Clyde (Sun) and Bonnie (Moon).
Peregrine planets are usually viewed as “thieves” (Bonnie and Clyde! Robbers!). A more enlightened view argues (as Tyl wrote) they are “untethered,” not quite connected to our culture or world. And that, too, was true of this pair.
Born in a different place and time, they might have lived entirely different lives. But, in the early twentieth century in the south, Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana, their destinies seem fixed, poor whites with little opportunity trapped by the Great Depression in “The South.” They were not Jean Valjean, but their circumstances did affect them.
Peregrine planets, the Lights no less, were their emblems.
Mystic Rectangle, Star of David, Kites, and Grand Trines
Solar Fire failed to find an obvious “Star of David” in this chart, something that disappoints me. It also did not detect a Thor’s Hammer in a recent full moon chart. I know this because Rick Levine of StarIQ did notice that Thor’s Hammer and commented on it. (I like his work.)
This version of the chart is filtered for Grand Trines, but it also shows the Kites and Star of David. For some people, this would have been an amazing opportunity (for things other than ambushes).
The “Star of David” pattern is rare. Winter Solstice of 2012 saw one many hours after perfection of the Solstice, and a few others have manifested since then (but not many). This chart has one, and it brings many planets “together” at the time of this event. Again, we would expect this to be benevolent. Bonnie Elizabeth Parker had written poetry, including a poem mentioning her own death in a manner similar to this.
Is this what she wanted with her short life? The fame has been enduring.
A Star of David (and almost always a Mystic Rectangle) brings Kites (“opportunity”) which, themselves, include Grand Trines. These are all part of the patterns we have discussed so far, so asking the question seems needless. But, “was this [somehow?] benevolent?”
If so, how? (Or, are we reading these patterns completely WRONG?)
Part of the Mystic Rectangle includes Astraea (law and law enforcement) which is opposite Mercury (motor vehicles, among other things).
Note that Jupiter at the 4th House cusp (“the grave”) is part of the MR.
Astraea (law and law enforcement) aspects six (6) objects AND the nodes (fate) and MC.
Mystic Rectangles are rare and generally treated as benevolent though an argument could be made that this one was malefic. Which do you think?
5th Harmonics
This chart has TWO golden yods. Those are rare, rare in the sense that a Mystic Rectangle or Star of David is rare, but this chart has two. We have seen an argument that they can be related to an “abuse of power.” Is this what we see here? One abuse of power by Bonnie and Clyde met by the abuse of power by an ambush by police?
One Golden Yod has Juno at its apex (trust and betrayal) and Sun and South Node (the “negative karma” of repeating the behavior of many lifetimes). (Did Clyde Barrow make a decision that led the pair to their deaths?)
The other has Pluto (death, especially by assassinations, especially by government agents of some kind, particularly “spies” but also police) at the apex and Saturn / Hygeia on one leg and Astraea (law and law enforcement) on the other leg. Law enforcement had a choice, also, at least the Golden Yod hints at that possibility.
7th Harmonics
At least THREE triangular patterns are present here, all built from septile variants. Did these events make any meaningful change in how law enforcement operated? (Given the threat to the state representative, I question that.) What are these 7th Harmonics of fate and karma telling us about POSSIBLE breakthrough thinking that could come from events like these.
Juno forms septile aspects in a triangular pattern with Moon / Vesta on one leg and Venus / Pallas on the other leg.
Again, we think this means that Bonnie Parker had another premonition or insight that her death was near. Was this a trip that she did not want to make, only resigning herself to it after Clyde insisted?
Horary Chart
In all fairness, this timing was picked because it “lit up” the horary indicators. We note that Moon with v/c (“nothing will come of this”) as was true in the 9/11 chart (World Trade Centers in New York City, September 11th of 2001).
We will not dig deeper, leaving that to the reader.
Here is a second horary variant of the chart:
For those who prefer a “karmic” analysis, we note the (tight!) connection between Mercury and the North Node (fate) and the trine between the South Node (also fate, but unfavorable as in repeating “old behavior”), Astraea (law and law enforcement), and the MC.
“[Hamer] was officially credited with 53 kills.” While under the color of law, Hamer had killed at least fifty three people, more than three times as many as Bonnie and Clyde. The phrase “officially credited” offers a question: what was his true body count? (Keep in mind his threat to a state representative almost two decades earlier.) Did he have kills outside of those that would be sanctioned? (Such as politicians who would not “play ball”?)
Hamer killed many times, not just in “other lifetimes” but in this one as well.
Hamer was recruited by Lee Simmons. “[P]rison chief Lee Simmons reportedly promised [dying prison guard Joe Crowson] that all persons involved in the breakout would be hunted down and killed. All of them eventually were, except for Methvin, who preserved his life by setting up the ambush of Barrow and Parker.” (Same source.)
What about “due process”?
Then again, these were the times when the “Shawshank Redemption” was set.

Midpoints
Midpoints are “lit up” and numerous here. Particularly noticeable: Pluto is at the midpoint of Moon / Mars. This is arguably another “death chart” indicator. Pluto is also sesquiquadrate both Venus and Pallas. What could that mean? I think that, among other things, some banks may have used robberies by Bonnie and Clyde as a way to cover misdeeds such as embezzlement.
Regardless, the midpoint trees are “lit up.”
Final notes
While we have covered most of the major points in this chart for this event, much remains. Uranus at 29 Aries, can make a case that nothing could have changed these events or this outcome.
Any of the patterns, and certainly the 5th harmonic and 7th harmonic aspects, could be separate entries of their own. Birth charts for Bonnie Parker, Clyde Barrow, Frank Hamer, and the rest could each be separate entries. And what about the Sun being in the same position in this chart as in Jeffrey Dahmer’s?
Unless we come back to these topics and write more, and we will not rule that out, this is likely our final say on the topic. But, others could follow.

Preliminary Charts Based on Publicized Birth Date
We present these preliminary charts based on publicized birth date of April 17, 1999 in Syria (we use Damascus) of Al Aliwi Alissa, the Boulder CO shooter / spree killer who (allegedly) murdered ten people on the afternoon of March 22, 2021.
Most “no birth time” attempts at rectification start with Sun at MC (Midheaven Chart, the “top” of the sky) or Ascendant (the “rising” point). However, given that we are proposing a chart for a mass murderer, we are starting with variants of the 8th House (Death House, associated with the sign Scorpio and co-rulers of Mars (traditional) and Pluto (modern)).

Note that this chart places (1) natal moon conjunct transiting Uranus (near MC in the chart at the time of the shooting); (2) Pluto near MC in natal chart; and (3) Mars (traditional ruler of Scorpio) in Scorpio and in 8th house.
Furthermore, (1) Neptune and Uranus are in the 12th, (2) the 2nd House Stellium of Jupiter, Sun, Pallas, Saturn and Moon are ruled by Mars (in the 8th), and (3) the Ascendant here is both “too early to tell” and almost exactly 180 degrees rotated from the “announcement chart” of 4:33 PM MDT in Boudler, CO on March 22, 2021.

Death of Rush Limbaugh, 2021-02-17 (time uncertain)

A bit of internet searching does not reveal a clear time of death for Rush Limbaugh. However, at the time of recent searches (2021-02-18), the oldest news stories were posted near 11:30 AM. Based on that time (11:30 AM CST), we adjust the chart to be at the time of Moonrise, placing the Moon into an angular position (and entry into twelfth house).
If we interpret this chart, what does it mean? Mr. Limbaugh’s death is on the same day as the perfection of the first Saturn square Uranus aspect of the three occurring in 2021/2022. That, by itself, is a “statement,” and a loud one. Mr. Limbaugh’s death heralds the beginning of a new era, one that will be with us for a minimum of twenty years (until the next Saturn square Uranus sequence, or possibly as soon as the coming Saturn / Uranus conjunction in 2032 (Jun 28 2032 6:03:05 am (CST +6:00))).
Stated differently, anybody who believes that the death of Rush Limbaugh will silence his messages and what he represented will be “in for a surprise” when the next generation of his thoughts emerges. And, it will.
With a history of certain kinds of events involving an angular planet, particularly an angular Moon, we have set the Moon at the ascendant and produced the following chart as a “best guess” for the time of death of Rush Limbaugh. (We do not think it is later. Time of death could be earlier. Families often pause before making announcements.)
This chart puts Moon on ascendant and Pluto at midheaven. We believe this is the correct chart, or within a half an hour of actual time. This time also puts the Moon within a degree of square to natal Venus, an aspect that is slightly separating.

Vesta Opposite Neptune
Vesta opposite Neptune is a theme for 2021 (from November, 2020 through July, 2021) and shows in a number of charts (this is an update/ edit done March 25th of 2021; the Vernal Equinox, Atlanta Shooter, and Boulder Shooter events (and the Boulder Shooter Natal Chart) have happened; all had Vesta as an important component).
We list, here, Vesta opposite Neptune periods from 2000 to 2070. Note: these come in clusters followed by no similar oppositions for roughly three to five years. The events are neither rare nor particularly common; we would call them “intermediate.”

In Memory of Cainer

Some time over a decade ago, and before I started this blog, I discovered the work of Jonathon Cainer. He was a standard “Sun sign” style newspaper astrologer in the UK, but he was also much more than that. His daily entries had a remarkable quality to them that I describe as “philosophical.” While others, myself included, would focus in on the details of what, say, a Sagittarius Moon / Gemini Sun type full moon had to say, Cainer would zoom out and speak in lyrical words of poetry about the bigger picture of such a turn of events.
He was, in a word, inspiring.
So, I was disappointed to discover this morning, May 19th, that he had passed away on May 2nd of this year, 2016. No chance now of him reading that email that I kept thinking about sending him for years but then not sending because I wanted to remain anonymous. No chance of somehow showing up in England and having a chance encounter where I might speak to him for a moment. The windows are closed, and the best I can do is an analysis of his birth and death charts (based on available data) in his memory.
His birth chart is remarkable, having both a Stretched Pentagram and a Diamond in it. These tend to be rather rare, and he had both of them. We show the birth chart for the Stretched Pentagram first:

It is the kind of chart, from the perspective of patterns, that is nothing short of amazing. Here is the birth chart, again, with the Diamond highlighted:

Much of the Diamond and Stretched Pentagram overlap. The evening of Winter’s Solstice 2012 (aka “The End of the World as We Know It”) had a Diamond in it, and while 2012 came and went without the end of the world, we can say that this period of years, marked by the Uranus / Pluto squares (or, as Cainer called it: “the bell tolls seven times”) has been remarkable in changes and upheaval (“Arab Spring,” “Black Lives Matter,” the dominance of “smart phones” in our collective lives, the candidacy of Donald Trump for President, etc.)
Cainer had other patterns also. He had a “Square Key” which is really two interlocked “Huber Learning Triangles.” These tell us what his biography said: he worked through some rather intense “karma” to reach the point he did in life. Life was not particularly easy for him in the beginning, and arguably it was probably fairly tough even after he had acquired fortune and fame.

Just in case that was not enough, he also had a “Double Yod Key” (DYK). This tells us he was face with many tough decisions, the kind where you always look back and wonder “what if I had taken the other path”? Filtered for DYK:

The DYK is hard to see because it is built into his other patterns. But, if we filter for yods, we find three of them, and they are a bit more obvious:

This is NOT an “easy” life. It is spent worrying about “what if” I had done something else. But Cainer was also born with the ability to accomplish much, and he did.

Finally, we see a Rosetta in the birth chart. We interpret this as “unstable alliances,” and from what we know this was true as well. He moved back and forth between newspapers as shifting alliances pushed him to do just that.
If we filter for a Grand Cross we do not find one, but if we filter for T-Squares, then a slightly “loose” Grand Cross is obviously present (and a source of tremendous energy and the ability to “get things done”):

A 5th Harmonic filter shows a triangular pattern (two quintiles and a biquintile) involving Mars, Pallas, and Venus:

We might add here that his highly activated Neptune near Midheaven is an indicator of psychic abilities. It can also indicate alcohol or drug problems or some kind of involvement (he did manage a bar at one point). We suspect that he felt many people “pulling” on him. (Neptune can be the savior / martyr complex as well.)
Seventh harmonic in the birth chart also contains a triangular pattern and is sufficiently activated to indicate, again, these “karmic” issues to work through:

Vesta/Hygeia, Neptune, and Sun compose the triangular pattern and indicate, again, both psychic abilities and physical illness as well. (We suspect that long term / chronic illness may have plagued him but that he did not disclose it publicly.)
Now to the death chart. A single pattern dominates: a hard rectangle!

One other pattern is present in the death chart: a Kite (if you are willing to use North / South lunar nodes):

We note that the remainder of the kite is formed by Mercury and Pluto, both retrograde. It is almost as if the cosmic said “OK we will give you a little more time to accomplish something, and then it is time to go.” We may never know what that “something” was because it likely dealt with family and financial matters. But he had received a reprieve of some kind from what was likely a “close call” of some kind earlier. (Again, we will likely never be able to confirm or deny this.) This kite also says that someone, somehow, greatly benefited from his death! (What could that mean?)

Mars, Astraea, and Sun are involved in a triangular 7th harmonic pattern (made of a TriSeptile and two BiSeptiles). We wonder if some kind of legal issues were about to emerge at the time of his death. (Again, we would bet that this is something private despite 2 out of 3 planets being above ground.)
Finally, we present the bi-wheel without patterns or much analysis except to note that his second Saturn return was upon him (and the one for the author of this blog is not too far away either). Saturn returns often “take us home,” and that is what happened for him.

We have little more to add to this analysis, especially since we prefer our readers dig into it for themselves. But, he was a giant in the field, and he will be missed. And, as an aside, my own coming Saturn return leaves me rather “nervous.”

Astrological Chart and Analysis for San Bernardino Shootings 2015-12-02
We have been analyzing disasters and shootings less lately in favor of forecasts and similar analysis. Previously, we have produced a chart analysis for Adam Lanza, the West, TX Fertilizer plant explosion, the Orbital Sciences Antares Rocket explosion, the Philadelphia Amtrak wreck, the Marysville school shootings, and the Boston Marathon bombing. That said, we will provide a chart and preliminary analysis of the San Bernardino shootings on December 2, 2015. We note, also, that this attack comes only a few weeks after the massacre of 130 people in Paris by ISIS based terrorists.
Click here for our Calendar Page for Wednesday, December 2nd. The event occurred two days before perfection of Mercury square Jupiter, an amplifier of either good will or bad intent. For practical purposes, that aspect applies here. The event also occurred four days before perfection of Mars square Pluto, perhaps the most dangerous of all aspects, and, again, for practical purposes that aspect applies here. Saturn square Neptune, a very slow moving aspect that governs weeks and months, perfected for the first time (of three) on November 26th. Again, that is so close (Saturn has a 28 year orbit; Neptune a 160 year orbit), that it applies here. All of this, together, is a bit tough.

“Former NBA and reality TV star Lamar Odom was hospitalized Tuesday after he was found unconscious… authorities were called at about 3:15 p.m. to Love Ranch in Crystal, Nevada, about 70 miles outside of Las Vegas, for a report of an unresponsive man needing an ambulance.”
Are there indications in his birth chart of these events?
Lamar Odom was born in NYC on November 6, 1979, time unknown. I cast a sunrise chart with Placidus houses to get a sense of his natal chart and placed the transits for time time the authorities were called to attend to him in Nevada on Tuesday, October 15, 2015:

Bill Clinton Solar Return 2015

Here is the SR Chart for former President Bill Clinton, filtered for Thor’s Hammer patterns (which seem prevalent in his chart). We suspect that this will be a year of conflict for him, and, if not conflict, then he will be very “busy.” (Not surprising given that his wife has announced a Presidential bid.)

This chart incorporates an existing T-Square that was part of a Grand Cross on the previous day. In addition to a powerful Sun/Saturn square, we note that Vesta issues (traditions, and sometimes kinky sex) are particularly important in this set of patterns in this particular Solar Return. Astrological Patterns for Hillary Rodham Clinton: A Natal Chart Analysis
First, let me state my position: I am neither particularly a HRC fan or detractor. I agree with her on some issues (diplomacy) and (vehemently) disagree with her on other issues (gun control). So, as much as possible, I will make this a neutral analysis and try to be fair. (AND I think I am capable of doing that.)
This is a complex chart with many patterns, something this is not true of all birth charts. We list the patterns in groups:
1. Hele patterns (multiple): Hillary tends to polarize people into strong allegiances that last over time
2. Rosetta patterns (multiple): Hillary also forms many temporary allegiances that can be characterized as treacherous at times (both for and against her)
3. Mystic Rectangle: Perhaps her defining pattern. It highlights (1) just how much Bill’s betrayal (the Lewinsky scandal) bothered her and (2) her ongoing interest in healthcare issues. The Mystic Rectangle tends to be a rather rare pattern.
4. Kites and Grand Trines (multiple): she has more “luck” than anyone can imagine. Maybe she should just play the lotto and retire. Then again, maybe American politics IS the lotto.
5. Grand Cross: it gives her the energy to do an AMAZING amount of work, but it also leads to significant conflict with others. Like the Mystic Rectangle, the Grand Cross is a relatively rare pattern.
We will show her natal chart repeatedly, but each time it will be filtered for different patterns:

These patterns emphasize her ability to (1) form long term allegiances at the price of (2) polarizing people. If you are truly her friend, she will stick by you through thick and thin. But, it can be difficult to know whether or not your are truly her friend (only she really knows), and if you betray her there will be HELL TO PAY.
Here is her natal chart filtered for the Rosetta pattern (MANY of these; arguably a “Rosetta Key”):

The are short term allegiances that frequently sour and can turn to treachery. It does not mean that SHE is treacherous, but it does mean that someone takes advantage of someone eventually. She likely becomes skilled at becoming the winner in these conflicts over the course of her lifetime, especially given her other patterns (notably the Kites). I count at least FOUR of these in play. (That is, by itself, unusual.) If you interact with her, then the big question becomes this one: is this a temporary allegiance (Rosetta) or a true long term alliance (Hele)?
Mystic Rectangle: we think that of all the patterns present, this one defines her (but the Grand Cross is a close second):

We note the four planets involved: (1) Sun in Scorpio (12th House); (2) Ceres in Taurus (6th House); (3) Juno in Sagittarius (2nd House); and (4) Hygeia in Cancer (8th House). Interpretations: (1) Sun in Scorpio in 12th: she is very powerful at working behind the scenes. Can she be a President and still do this? (2) Ceres in Taurus in 6th: economic woes (feast and famine); will this translate to the same pattern for the nation (BIG ups and downs!); (3) Juno in Sadge in 2nd: the Betrayed Wife of the Philandering Husband (yep, that really is who Juno is!); she was wounded by Bill far more than she will ever publicly admit; it was a BIG deal to her! (4) Hygeia in 8th: She wants healthcare as an issue, but the 8th is tricky. Maybe as a Scorpio she can pull it off. But she better be careful about trying to cut the pay of nurses again. In all fairness, I think she recognized her error and has made amends for it.
Juno in Sadge might be the most important planet for her as a person rather than a politician. She is far more of a devoted wife and mother than she will ever let the public know. This is because, as a Scorpio, she is afraid it might be seen as weakness. But that Piscean Moon cares DEEPLY for her husband and daughter. Truth be told, we will never know quite what she has gone through for them.
Hillary might can make the changes in healthcare that Obama has been trying to do if she is elected. No doubt about it, except for the diplomacy issues (Middle East et al), healthcare *IS* her priority.
Kites and Grand Trines: again, I wish I had so many of these. So do you. That’s because ALMOST NO ONE has a chart that looks like this. Kites tend to be “opportunity” and “luck.” They are amplified Grand Trines. She is almost drowning in them.

I see at least three, but arguably four are present. FOUR kites in a natal chart? To speak in the vernacular: “ya gotta be kidding.” Again, she could probably just play the lotto (repeatedly) and retire. First house Jupiter confirms this. But, the way she is configured, she would never do that. That is particularly true with the Grand Cross.

I count five (5) GT’s, and that means that FIVE Kites COULD be present. Wow! What else to say? But GT’s can make a person lazy. That would be true unless you have a T-Square or (even more powerful) a Grand Cross in the chart. She DOES have a Grand Cross (and, like the Mystic Rectangle, these are comparatively RARE):

The Grand Cross is her other “defining pattern,” second only to the Mystic Cross. The Sun/Ceres opposition shows again, emphasizing the feast/famine issue in her life. But, perhaps more interesting is the Astraea / Vesta opposition. Justice opposite Tradition? That is what she has, and it shows that Social Justice is, and always has been, a core issue in her life. (I would say THE core issue, but we know from earlier that healthcare is at least as important as this one, and her family is most important of all.)
T-Squares: these are really almost superfluous after the Grand Cross, but we present them anyway to point out that she has an amazing amount of “energy”:

Personally, I think she should recruit Al Gore to re-enter politics.
Finally, we present the chart in “Beginner” format with aspects with tightest orbs emphasized. We note the Mercury square Saturn is particularly important with her (that says she has a remarkable attention to detail and will not tolerate anyone near her being “sloppy”), Mars / Pluto conjunction near Midheaven (she could either be warlike or somehow provoke war), and finally, the Mercury / Saturn / Moon Huber Learning Triangle (an HLT3) which shows, again, that she is willing to work to “earn” her “luck.”

Summary
This is meant to be a neutral review. So, let’s be clear: if you are her enemy, chances are good she will destroy you. She can be quite merciless. And, frequently, people do not know where they stand with her. She can be confusing (Scorpio/Pisces). But, overall, she is benevolent and has good intent. More than most others, she can effect real change in the healthcare system and with regard to social justice. (Just leave our guns alone!)
It is possible she may be associated with a (big) war.
On that issue, let me say this: she is not a person to provoke a war by herself. However, the people she chooses to surround herself with, and the allegiances that she forms, may lead to a situation in which no other meaningful choice exists.
This is a very good chart, and it would be a particularly powerful chart for a politician (as she is) or a top trial attorney or <smile> maybe even a lotto player.

Grand Cross of January 7th and Edward Snowden

We are entering an “interesting” (and dangerous) period. What will come is presaged by the Grand Cross of January 7th:

As you can see, the main players are Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, and Pluto. The Uranus / Pluto square series has been discussed elsewhere on this site and on other sites. We point out that adding Mars / Jupiter to the mix is a particularly powerful activation. I tend to think of the Uranus / Pluto combination as a bit like a spark looking for a fuel / air mixture to make something go “boom.” Mars / Jupiter tends to be a fuel / air mixture.
When this is in the form of a spark plug igniting gasoline in the cylinder of an automobile (or other vehicle), then the combination is useful. But when it is a spark in a coal mine that makes coal dust go boom, this is very bad.

Also, this pattern may mark an important turning point in the ongoing story of the NSA and Edward Snowden. Using the data from this version of Edward Snowden’s chart, namely the June 21, 1983 / 0442 EDT / Elizabeth City NC data, yields a chart that shows (1) a Scorpio Moon applying (loosely) to an opposition to Algol, (2) Mars Conjunct North Node in first house, and (3) Sun conjunct Betelgeuse.
His 8th house (house of spies, intelligence agencies, and assassinations) is intercepted, and the ruler of the 8th (Saturn) is conjunct Pluto (planet of spies, intelligence agencies, and assassinations) in the 5th house (of speculation, luck, and gambling).

A turning point is coming for him soon (this month, January). Sadly, chances for confinement look pretty strong for him.
But confinement will escalate his stature as a folk hero. (The authorities will make a terrible mistake if they succeed in doing that. Public perception will be a bit like looking at Darth Vader attempting to strike down Obi-Wan Kenobi when the supposedly feeble old man gently states “If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you could possibly imagine.”)
Do not be surprised to hear some compare him to Nelson Mandela should Snowden be imprisoned.
If the government REALLY wants to punish him, they should assist him in writing a NY Times bestseller and going on a really LONG book tour. (Rumor has it that those book tours can be rather strenuous. 🙂 )
Ariel Castro found hanging

Here is the chart for Ariel Castro found hanging. The Pluto / MC alignment makes a strong statement:

Exactly what this chart means is difficult to tell. However, independent of the chart, his death so soon seems too merciful to him. The details of his hanging have not been made public. If this was a suicide, then how did such a high profile prisoner achieve that?
If this was a murder, one that likely will never be investigated in a meaningful way or prosecuted, then the intruder likely entered the cell at 9:06 PM +/- 1 minute (when Uranus, surprises, rose). Uranus enters the 12th and Neptune aligns on the 12th house cusp a minute later. The intruder used deception, perhaps someone pretending to be checking on the “well being” of Castro. Another two minutes later, and Neptune enters the 11th, placing Uranus and Neptune in mutual reception by house. The deception, and element of surprise, deepens.
By 9:10 PM, the struggle had began but did not last long. Only a few minutes without oxygen were needed for the deed to be mostly complete, with him “found” by “about 9:20.” (Probably between 9:18 PM and 9:19 PM, when Pluto was at Midheaven).
Neptune conjoins Midheaven at 10:48 PM, with Pluto entering the 8th (House of Death) a few minutes before that. He was “prounounced” at 10:52 PM.
This is all speculation, of course. And, it is very sinister on many levels. His death means that we have been cheated of the justice that would have come from him being incarcerated for a very, very long time.
But, maybe he really did commit suicide.
Maybe.
Full Moon July 2013

The July Full Moon this year, as is true most years, has the Moon in Capricorn and Sun in Cancer. Capricorn is not a favorable place for the Moon (in most cases), and the Sun does not prosper in Cancer (the Moon’s home) either.
Oops, I suppose that we are still affected by the Mercury retrograde / change in station / storm. I see, now, that this is a Leo / Aquarius full moon. Those do not happen as often in July, and this one is at the critical zero (0) degrees mark!
Additionally, this one comes upon the heels of a Mercury direct station combined with a historic outer planet grand trine. (Indeed, the end of the Mayan calendar in December did not gain my attention the way this particular Grand Trine has done.)
We produced predictions earlier this year that this year would tend to be marked by disasters in a manner similar to 2010. Fortunately, we have not had any similar to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill or the nuclear meltdown in Japan. Still, reading the news lists a remarkable number of events, ranging from earthquakes to liberation of people held captive for many years (in both Houston and Ohio) to fertilizer plant explosions. Hopefully, these will start to recede, but the window for disasters is open through the end of the year for this particular year.
That said, here is the full moon chart, both in beginner format and horary format:
As a bit of a footnote, I still believe that an important word leader (perhaps several) will be born this year. This particular full moon would be a candidate for the time of birth of such a person. (Various possibilities exist, but this is certainly one of them.) The zero (0) degree mark here is a strong punctuation mark regarding the leadership potential of individuals born at this time. I feel strongly that many of us will look back, in hindsight, and see the events of this summer as being particularly important in the years to come.
Update: when I wrote the above words, I was not anticipating the Royal Birth that occurred. (I do not live in the UK, and lately I have not had time to keep up with UK events.) However, I will state that I believe that this particular individual will be one of the most important in the Royal Family in a very long time, decades if not centuries.
This person will feel a huge amount of weight as they grapple with some remarkably difficult decisions through the course of their life. They will wrestle endlessly with a internal war between compassion and prudence. And, sometimes, they will find themselves at a loss for words. But, in the end, they will have the potential for some of the greatest leadership that the Royal Family has ever seen. (Keep in mind, as you read my words, that I am not an Englishman. I am an American. And, I am not just an American. I am a Texan. Frankly, we don’t bow to anyone, although sometimes we tip our hats to those that deserve it.)

I suppose, in hindsight, that analyzing the Cancer / Capricorn polarity was the most appropriate after all!
That said, we see no air and very little fire. Leo / Aquarius are intercepted signs, but they do not contain any major planets. Venus has barely entered Virgo. Moon in Cap is effectively inconjunct, and Algol is either setting or has just set (is on the 7th house cusp). I would be greatly surprised if he were to be an intellectual. (But, I am reluctant to rule out anything for a newborn.) Relationships, particularly romances, will tend to be difficult. He might be a bit of a “ladies man” (Algol setting) in some ways, but with Venus at 0 Virgo he will actually be rather conservative in private despite any public image. He has the ruler of the 10th (Virgo, Mercury) in the 8th with Mars and Jupiter. I would not be surprised to see him die a hero’s death in battle at an early age. If that does happen, he will become emblematic of an important turning point for England (and the UK).
If he does survive his youth, he has the potential to be an unusually good money manager. He might make certain significant financial decisions for England, and he has the potential to lead England into a new era of prosperity.
The Rescue in Cleveland

What kind of monster imprisons three women in his basement for years? That is what more than a few people would like to know about Cleveland suspect Ariel Castro. (We note that (a) he is innocent until proven guilty but that (b) the evidence against him is overwhelming.)
Specific birth time and location are not available for him at this time. (We do not have access to his birth certificate, and specifics are not yet available.) So, we have created a bi-wheel for his reported date of birth and the date of the rescue. While the positions of the Moon and the Ascendant for both are in question, the resulting chart is still “interesting.”

Our method of rectification is simple. But, first, keep in mind that we are operating with little to work with, and this is just a “best guess.” That said, we looked at the charts and looked for the position of the moon on the day of rescue in relation to Castro’s birth chart. We are guessing that the rescue happened in daylight hours though we are unsure whether closer to noon or sunset. (We are using noon.)
We have adjusted Castro’s birth chart so that the Moon is just above the 7th house cusp (relationships and open enemies) on the day of the rescue. Our other choices would be to put the Moon at the Midheaven (six hours earlier) or the IC (six hours later).
But, with the Moon on the 7th house cusp we note that Mercury, Mars, the Sun, the South Node, Pallas, and Venus are in an 8th house stellium (the 8th being the house of death as well as torture; we would also consider alternative versions that place these planets in a 12th house stellium of imprisonment and misfortune).
We note that transiting Juno (spousal relationships and especially issues involving treachery to spouses and family members) either recently aspected his Moon or is in the process of doing so.

Something has come to light that is a major insight into the shooter at Newtown: he planned the event for years. In fact, he developed a large and complex spreadsheet tracking the activities of other serial killers and mass murderers. Apparently the spreadsheet was developed from the perspective of a video gamer.

Aaron Swartz was an internet activist who allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself Friday.

Curiously, the question arrived at culmination of a full moon, one with an interesting pattern.
Chiron opposed the 8th (Sun on Asc), and Jupiter opposed Catastrophe. Pluto is near the 4th house cusp (graves, final resting places), and the ruler of the 8th (Venus) is near Pluto. Venus is also semi-square Chiron in this chart. This Venus & Jupiter activity indicates that someone (maybe several someone’s) likely benefitted from Aaron’s death.
Uranus (Prometheus) has set. Metaphorically, Prometheus is the bringer of light (insight, knowledge, genius), and he has now set (moved below ground). Opinions may vary, but I suspect that we are all worse off for this loss. The Founders of the United States were people like Aaron, and that kind of courage is needed to protect the rights of us all.

I woke up early this morning with these words in my head. They came to me nearly fully formed, with almost no editing necessary.
We are defined by our Enigmas
We are defined by our Enigmas. And one of the great enigmas of our time is that of the madman on a rampage. It consumes us and cheats us of time best spent elsewhere.
We obsess, and we fret. What could we have done? Would “gun control” have helped? We like soft and easy answers. Surely that would have helped. We could pass a new law: only licensed policemen could have guns.
But what if Nancy Lanza had succumbed to a sudden illness? Adam Lanza might have moved in with his uncle, a police officer. Again, he would have had access to weapons.
Had he lived with a family in the construction business, he might have used explosives and harmed far more people. When tragedy strikes, we rarely pause to think that it could have been worse.
Had he been “radicalized” by a group that advocates violence and recruits the disenfranchised, he might have become a suicide bomber.
We would call him a “terrorist” instead of a “school shooter” and somehow think he was different in a meaningful way.
Putting the evil in the object, whether guns or bombs, is a risky thing because it rarely cures the problem.
Maybe we could spend more money on mental health. We could. We could make certain that people receive mental health “regardless of level of income.” But, “regardless of level of income” has become a euphemism for poverty in the United States.
And that means that kids from middle class and wealthy families, like Adam Lanza, paradoxically “fall through the cracks.” Adam himself was barely a step from homeless. But his family had so much money that he would have never qualified for any of these special programs. And that, again, leaves us with a madman on a rampage.
The idea that middle class and wealthy families will step forward to help their mentally ill family members is an old lie.
Ask anyone who has worked in the mental health field for at least a few years and you will find out the truth. Most families cannot handle the burden and eventually abandon the suffering family member. But, the politicians can always sell us the same old well-worn lies that “sound good.”
And that means the problem is never addressed.
The most disturbing thought of all is that there is no solution. Maybe the way that we have built our society transforms some of our best and brightest into fragile and unemployable young adults who have nowhere to turn when they break down. And that, inevitably, leaves us with a madman on a rampage.
Liza Long can tell you how things really are.
But, the biggest engima of all is the question of why do we we keep defining ourselves in terms of losses? We focus on the rampage of the madman, and we cheat ourselves of the awareness of the windows of opportunity that can exist in almost any situation.
As we move forward from this tragedy, we need to remember the words of Robert F. Kennedy:
There are those who look at things the way they are, and ask why… I dream of things that never were, and ask why not?
Enigmatically, Robert F. Kennedy died because of a madman on a rampage.
Update: Maybe this might make a difference. (It is a petition to “address the shortcomings of the current mental health system to prevent at-risk people from becoming violent offenders.”)

Adam Lanza Natal Chart (No Birth Time)

Here is the birth chart for Adam Lanza.
Adam has a Thor’s Hammer (aka “God’s Fist”) in his natal chart. (We will discuss this in more detail in the commentary below.)
Since birth time is unknown, we have cast his chart as Sun Conjunct Ascendant (Sun CONJ ASC). Here is the chart:

We note that the Ascendant and Midheaven must be ignored in this chart, and the exact position of the Moon is unknown (just “early Capricorn”). This chart has a LARGE number of squares and sesquiquadrates. Indeed Venus (in Aries) has two squares and a sesquiquadrate!
(Update 12/15 @ 1445 CST, continued from above:) We discussed the Thor’s Hammer earlier here and here. Also known as the “Quadriform,” this pattern is also described here.) Often associated with earthquakes and explosions, the Thor’s Hammer can be a very dangerous aspect. In Adam’s case, Jupiter is the Apex Planet and has Venus on one side and BOTH Neptune and Uranus on the other side. (Our name for four or more planets in a Thor’s Hammer pattern is “Thor’s Hammer Key.” It is an amplified form of the already dangerous Thor’s Hammer.)
Jupiter is a great amplifier of things, and we suspect that any conflict Adam had with his mother or the school was hugely amplified by this Jupiter in a position to cause an “explosion” (gunshots, in this case). We note that his Venus was highly afflicted in a number of ways, and come to an even stronger version of the conclusion that some kind of “atypical romance” may have been an important piece of the puzzle.
Uranus is associated with explosions, Jupiter in aspect with Uranus is associated with big explosions (or lotto winners), and this particular pattern is the most explosive of all. (We have noted earlier that a major explosion happened on the date of Adam’s birth.) Adam was, indeed, wired like a bomb waiting to explode. (We are a bit surprised that he used guns instead of explosives. Maybe it was because guns were easier to use than explosives.)
That said, we do not quite believe in “fate” but in “propensities.” We bet that a large number of people were born on this date. We suspect that a large number of them had one or two “bad days” this week. What could lead someone like Adam to choose to commit a massacre?
We still wonder what triggered Adam’s explosion. Was he treated unfairly or falsely accused of something? (We are asking a question, not making a statement.) SOMETHING triggered this disproportionate response. What was it?
Whatever it was, it was disproportionate. In researching this article, I came across this blog entry. It strikes to the core of the issue. And, here, the core of the issue is not guns. The core of the issue is mental health.

That said, back to the astrological analysis.
As mentioned in the preliminary analysis, Adam had a Grand Earth Trine (ordinarily a marker of someone of great financial wealth) that was activated by the recent entry of Saturn into Scorpio.
- Saturn’s entry into Scorpio (October 6th and beyond) creates a kind of instability in his grand earth trine.
- Saturn semi-squared his Uranus / Neptune (and activated the Thor’s Hammer some time after October 6th).
- The “straw that broke the camel’s back” happened with the new moon of the 12th / 13th that squared his natal Mars.
- He acted at the time of his (nearby) personal new moon.
We stick with the idea that we wrote about 12 hours ago (about 2am locally) that we think something happened on the 12th or 13th (before the New Moon) that set in motion the events of this tragedy.
We have located two points that we think worthy of mention here:
- Jude Cowell points out that Mars (in Capricorn) recently transited Adam’s natal Uranus and Neptune. This was almost certainly a major contributor as well.
- Over at AstroDispatch, the author points out that Pluto (in Capricorn) is conjunct (we think) Adam’s natal Moon. This is a long-term high stress aspect.
We do not have a birth time to build an ascendant, but we are going to risk doing an analysis with a rectified chart (something we avoid). We were going to set the birth time at 4:20 pm because that aligns the moon in the natal chart with the moon in the December 14th 9:18 am Double Yod Key (DYK) chart.
However, by moving the time to 2:50 pm, we move the ruler of the 10th into the 8th house. (Gemini on the 10th, and Mercury on the 8th.) This is a well-known marker of those who become famous in death, and it is not possible in all configurations but it is on this particular date of birth. (JFK’s natal chart is a textbook example of this; he had Leo on the 10th and Sun in the 8th. Of course, he was victim rather than perpetrator. But, the point is that he became particularly famous in death, consequent to his assassination.)
This chart has Jupiter rising and in the 12th (the house of Self-Undoing) and Sun, Venus, and Mercury in the 8th house (house of Death). Pluto (planet of death) is in the 3rd house (of children), and Mars (planet of violence and war) is in the 7th house (of relationships with others). We think this chart is a very good candidate chart:

We note that the ascendant in this chart (24 Virgo) is trine Algol (26 Taurus), and that the Sun is in the 8th (death) house. We have illustrated the Thor’s Hammer relationship in the chart.
We do note that we are reluctant to attempt rectification at all. But, these are our best guesses.
Adam Lanza (Preliminary Analysis)

[A number of the search engines are behind and have not caught up with our most recent post on Adam Lanza. There, we cast a natal chart and also attempt to rectify the chart. It is a detailed extension of the remainder of this post.]
The Sandy Hook, CT school shooter has been identified as Adam Lanza, the younger son of Nancy J Lanza. Nancy J Lanza, a single mother after a divorce some years earlier, was either a Kindergarten teacher or a teachers aid at the school. We have addressed the timeline of the shooting in an earlier post and now specifically focus on Adam Lanza.
Current (12/15 @ 0143 CST) news reports describe Adam Lanza as a 20 year old suffering from an autism spectrum disorder (possibly Asperger’s Syndrome) and possibly a personality disorder. We have his date of birth reported from multiple sources: April 22, 1992. We do not have a time of birth, but (based on available reports) he was almost certainly born in either New Hampshire (less likely) or Connecticut (most likely). We will use Sandy Hook as his birth place (although he may have been born in New Haven).
First, we would like to cover some other background. We look at patterns on this blog, so we are interested in other events on that date (or “nearby”).

Finally, we observe noteworthy similarity between this shooter and Kip Kinkel. Both had a Capricorn Moon; between them: (1) Suns are trine (Taurus / Virgo), (2) Venus’ are trine (Aries / Leo), and (3) Mars’ are trine (Scorpio / Pisces).
Differences are noteworthy as well. (1) Kinkel did not have a grand trine. (2) Kinkel’s moon clearly trined Algol (while Lanza’s almost certainly does not). (3) Kinkel’s Neptune (Sadge) and Pluto (Libra) formed a yod in relation to Algol. Yod’s are about decisions; Neptune is often about self-sacrifice; Pluto is about death. Astrologically, Kinkel seemed to face an alternative of sacrificing himself (Neptune) or others (Pluto) and obviously chose the latter. We are certain that Lanza faced choices that were significantly different (though he reached a remarkably similar conclusion).

[Update: A few others have noted similarity to the birth chart of Adolf Hitler. Sun and Moon are similar, but much of the rest of the chart is different. We think Kinkel’s is a closer match when looking for similar charts and similar patterns.]
(We have written extensively about Algol elsewhere on this blog. Moon conjunct Algol at the time of the Vernal Equinox in 2010 heralded a series of disasters, including a West Virginia coal mine explosion, that later culminated in the BP Deepwater Horizon accident less than a month later. “Algol” is an arabic word that means “The Ghoul,” or the Cryptkeeper.)
A preliminary analysis shows that the Moon had to be in the first 15 degrees of Capricorn and applying to a conjunction of both Uranus and Neptune. First of all, we note that about 1 person in 12 has a Capricorn Moon, but not 1 person in 12 becomes a mass murderer. That said, Capricorn Moons are thought to often have some absence of compassion for others. Oddly, this can make for GREAT leaders! It can also make for mass murderers…. (My apologies to the 1:12 visitors who might be offended by that! 🙂 )
Saturn and Uranus were in mutual reception producing a kind of unpredictability that is difficult to describe. (As we note above, a newsworthy powerful explosion happened on the date of Lanza’s birth.)
Venus squared both Uranus and Neptune. We will address Venus Square Uranus momentarily. Venus Square Neptune invariably produces false hopes and unjustified aspirations in all who are touched by it. (All the daily astrologers give the same advice when Venus squares Neptune: “Do not sign any contracts.”) Given the superb career performance of both the father and the older brother, if this son was indeed autistic, then chances are good that he was a disappointment to those close to him, except perhaps his mother.
Adam had a rather powerful Grand Earth Trine in his chart. Arguments fly regarding the meaning of grand trines. We consider them benevolent, but others see them as malevolent. Almost all agree that “things” come easily to those who have them. Had Adam been willing to accept his difficulties, chances are good that someone in his family would have picked him up each time he fell. But, Venus square Uranus/Neptune left him determined to prove himself. While that quality sounds admirable to most of us, that quality may have precipitated his downfall.
Indeed, he was a bit “beyond lucky” because he had a kite, rare configuration of a grand trine with another planet attached as a “head.” The head of his kite was Mars in Pisces. Though kites are ordinarily lucky, this is a difficult placement. Mars in Pisces and Venus Square Uranus indicates a potentially strange and difficult series of experiences involving love and romance.
[Update (12/15 @ 1411 CST): Upon further examination of the chart, we have decided that Mars is too far out of alignment to qualify for a Kite. However, we have now found something far more ominous: a Thor’s Hammer. We will address this in a new entry.]
We wonder if he was wounded, perhaps by a conflict between mother and a (potential?) prospect for romance, and if he felt that wound far more deeply than most. (Or, alternatively, he may have been falsely accused of something he did not do and felt compelled to seek “justice.”)
Earth is often both stubborn and critical. We suspect that he both gave and received criticism in amounts that were difficult for him to shoulder.
Without a birth time, we hesitate to speculate on what triggered his reaction on this date. Our best guess is that Saturn, in Scorpio, was activating the planets of his grand trine (particularly if he had an “early” moon). (If this outcome reflects Saturn in Scorpio, then we have a hunch that the chain of events that led to this outcome began on or about October 6th of this year.) If the Saturn in Scorpio set up a potential “bomb” in his kite / grand trine / Thor’s hammer, what was the trigger that set him off?
Our best guess is that the Sadge New Moon on the 13th squared his Mars, and someone (we are not sure who) issued some kind of ultimatum. Whatever happened on the 12th / 13th, whether or not it involved some (atypical?) romance, Adam Lanza decided that he had to take action. And, when the Moon returned (or approached the return) to its natal place, a place sometimes of endings, he did just that.
