Jupiter Square Saturn 2016-05-26

First, you might want to peek at our analysis of this aspect on March 23, 2016 and August 3, 2015.  The perfection of today’s square is the third in a three party sequence, and we will not see a similar pattern repeat until 2024 / 2025.

Before we address the regular patterns, we should note some remarkable fifth harmonic activity.  Two triangular patterns composed of fifth harmonic activity are present.  One is formed by Juno (in Scorpio; trust v. betrayal, wives, sisters, daughters) at the apex and Sun in Gemini on one leg and Chiron in Pisces on the other.  This Jupiter / Saturn square has this particularly powerful pattern in play.  Jupiter/Saturn aspects are associated with changes in the financial markets, and we note that issues of trust (Juno) have become important (if you do not know this, then you need to watch “The Big Short” and “Money Monster“).

The other triangular pattern has Uranus at the apex, Mars on one leg, and the North Node on the other leg.  As with the first triangular pattern, each leg is a BiQuintile aspect (144 degrees) with Mars / Node separated by a quintile.  We can expect surprises.

All of this fifth harmonic activity signals the potential for  creative breakthroughs and genius level solutions, possibly to problems in the financial markets.

Here is the chart for perfection of Jupiter square Saturn, filtered for fifth harmonic aspects:

Seventh harmonic aspects are also active (not quite as active as fifth harmonic), and we present the same chart filtered for those:

2016-05-26 Jupiter Square Saturn (7th Harmonic)

Sun, Ceres, and North Node in a triangular seventh harmonic aspect tell us that some “karma” may need to be considered at this time, and that karma especially deals with feast and famine (literally, in terms of food, and metaphorically, in terms of finances).

The more ordinary patterns (if you can at all consider them that) are a Kite (opportunity), Hele (stable long term alliances), Rosetta (unstable long term alliances), and a Thor’s Hammer (aka God’s Fist, and an indicator of possible danger or violence).

The kite, combined with the fifth harmonic patterns previously described, tells us that an amazing opportunity is available at this time:

2016-05-26 Jupiter Square Saturn (Kite)

One variant of the kite has Jupiter / Neptune, Mercury, and Pluto in the formation (and includes the current and ongoing Grand Earth Trine in it).  Let’s be clear the opportunity for someone to make quite a bit of money exists here.

The other variant tells us that the Nodes are present (instead of Jupiter / Neptune), and hard work will be necessary and the lure of “easy money” will be strong.  We offer this advice: be careful.  Financial markets are typically “zero sum games” (at least in the short term), and for someone to “win” someone else must “lose.”

The Hele represents both the opportunity (and need) for long term alliances, especially to take advantage of the opportunity:

2016-05-26 Jupiter Square Saturn (Hele)

The Rosetta is a bit more thorny: it represents short-term allegiances (and the potential for betrayal from a long term perspective).  Hele and Rosetta TOGETHER always send this message: “pick your friends carefully!”

Finally, we have the Thor’s Hammer (God’s Fist).  Extreme behavior (including the potential for violence and/or explosions) may be present the week of the perfection of this aspect:

We will not present the “long term analysis” information in this post since that would duplicate the work already done here.

2016-05 W21: Forecasts for Week 21 of 2016

Archive of Week 20 (W20)

We are the end of May and a series of retrogrades including Mercury Retrograde that has been with us for a few weeks (to a few months, depending on which retrograde we are talking about) will be ending.  Jupiter has moved direct, and Mercury Retrograde stations direct now.  Direct movement will be slow, and we will be in the “shadow” for a bit, but now is a good time to start launching truly new projects as opposed to reviewing and resurrecting old ones.

Those old projects either proved to be a good idea “after all” or they did not.  If they are good, stick with them and grow them.  But, if not, put them back on hold or discard them altogether.  The time is at hand to look at new things and new ideas.

The Taurus New Moooon perfected on May 6th, and we have a Full Moon (Sagittarius Moon / Gemini Sun) on May 21st (a day after Sun moves into Gemini).  Let’s be clear: for better or worse, “things” will change with this lunation and the accompanying Mercury direct station.

School is out, and has been out, for most students, and that particular weekend (May 21/22) marks the true beginning of “summer” for anyone who follows the academic year.  But astrological summer, the official beginning of “summer,” does not begin until the Summer Solstice on June 20th (which also has another full moon).  The retrograde station of Chiron on June 27th and direct station of Mars on June 29th will mark another significant shift.  We will cover these events in more detail as they near, but keep in mind these critical dates as you set plans for vacations, trips, meetings, and so forth.

May 2016 (Mars Out)

Week 21 (W21)

Sunday May 15th

Moon joins Jupiter in early morning hours (circa 3 AM CDT) and emphasizes the Grand Earth Trine that dominates the day.  For most people, this is a “feel good” day though earth and water signs benefit most.  Jim Shawvan notes an Opportunity Period for most of the day, and we agree.  Do keep in mind that Mercury is still retrograde (as are several other planets), so either avoid doing anything “too serious” or focus on older “on hold” projects that need to relaunch.  Much CAN be accomplished today, if that is your intent, but you must choose the right projects and keep in mind that some aspects may need to be revisited after Mercury retrograde ends (May 22nd) and possibly later this summer.

Monday May 16th

The opportunity period ends early and Moon is void until half past noon CDT.  Some people see yesterday’s window vanish and wonder “what happened?”  But you are smarter than that because you read these forecasts, right?  You did take complete advantage of yesterday’s window and leave nothing undone until today, didn’t you?

If not, no worry, other windows will open again “some day.”  But “getting things done” is tougher today than Sunday, and today just might have to be a cleanup day.

Tuesday May 17th

We face a decision today, a rather “loose” and open yod that dominates the afternoon.  You must make a decision, and we cannot tell you which path to pick except to pick one and do not look back.  You will be tempted to wonder “what might have been” if you had picked the other path.  Do not waste time doing that; it would not have been any better.

Wednesday May 18th

Accomplish what you can in the early morning; a loose T-Square will give you the “juice” to do that if you can focus yourself.  After a bit past 10 AM the Moon turns void and most of the rest of the day is best spent in review, cleaning house, or as a “day off.”  Do keep in mind that taking a “day off” midweek can be a good idea every so often.

Thursday May 19th

To be frank, this is a rather strange day.  Some people will have rather remarkable opportunities, truly gifts, come to them, but it does require intense work of some kind.  The “work” may be entirely focused on addressing your emotions in certain situations or it may be actual work: doing bookkeeping or conducting an experiment or some other kind of research.  Some people, as well, will be “losers” and this will be a bad day for them.

Health and educational issues will tend to come to the forefront.

This last full day of Taurus has a feeling of “fate” to it for many of us.

Friday May 20th

Sun moves into Gemini early Friday morning, and just in case you did not get the message yesterday, change is afoot.  Things are about to become different, very different, for some people (if they have not already).  The Full Moon is tomorrow (Saturday) and Mercury stations direct on Sunday.  Windows you thought would never close are now gone forever, but others will open.  Such is life.

Saturday May 21st

The Full Moon today gives us a glimpse of the future but with a few pieces missing.  Today is a very important day for some people.  Casual meetings that are supposed to be “fun” turn out to be critically important turning points.  Some people will meet their “life partner” today and it will seem like both and “accident” and “fate” at the same time!  Be assured that universe becomes “unlocked” for some people, and they are able to do certain things that transcend the ordinary.

For others, today will seem massively chaotic and like a day best spent at home.  Fire and air signs tend to prosper; unenlightened variants of earth and water wonder what happened to the window that was open this past Sunday.  Be assured that you will see even more change with tomorrow’s Mercury direct station and the events of next week.

Week 22 (W22)

Full Moon 2016-05-21 (Grand Cross, Kite, Hele, and Thor’s Hammer)

Full Moon 2016-05-21 (Grand Cross, Kite, Hele, and Thor’s Hammer)

This Full Moon marks an important turning point.  The FM perfects on the 21st, the day before Mercury Direct Station on the 22nd.  And, the FM is in the “too early to tell” parts of Sagittarius and Gemini.  That means that more will be revealed to us, particularly if you are a Sagittarius or Gemini.

Because of the presence of a Grand Cross, with Astraea in Virgo and Pallas in Pisces, that same admonishment applies to Virgo and Pisces as well.  If you are Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces, then you about to receive a major surprise, most likely a beneficial one, but nevertheless a surprise.

Here is the Full Moon (FM), filtered for the Grand Cross:

Full Moon 2016-05-21 (Grand Cross)

We also have a slightly longer term Thor’s Hammer (God’s Fist) present that covers the few days before the FM and the days after as well (meaning the weekend).  As with other Thor’s Hammers, the potential for danger is present, and the energy needs to be channeled into productive outlets to prevent something or someone from going “boom.”

Here is the FM, filtered for the Thor’s Hammer:

Full Moon 2016-05-21 (Thor's Hammer)

Also present is a Hele, a sign of the formation of long-term, or at least longer term, alliances.  What is thorny, here, is that the alliances will tend to be formed in the “too early to tell” period, and that means that you may discover some aspects of your allies, later, that might not be so pleasant.  (Be careful who you pick for your new friends.)

Here is the FM, filtered for the Hele:

Full Moon 2016-05-21 (Hele)

An opportunity is present here also. We have a kite, a bit of a loose one, and that shows opportunity for those who can see it.  Here is the same FM, filtered for the kite:

Full Moon 2016-05-21 (Kite)

This opportunity  tends to favor Pisces and Virgo in particular.  For Pisces, this is easy to see and easy to take advantage but does not represent a “growth opportunity.”  (Are you looking for one of those?)  For Virgo, the reverse is true: hard work and personal growth results but it is a major opportunity.

In any case, do keep in mind that Mercury is about to station direct, that this FM is in the “too early to tell” period, and that we are all about to experience a “surprise” of some kind.

And, by the time of the next Full Moon (June 20th, also Sagittarius Moon / Gemini Sun), it will seem that everything that occurred was “fate.”

2016-05 W20: Forecasts for Week 20 of 2016

2016-05 W20: Forecasts for Week 20 of 2016

Archive of Week 19 (W19)

We are in the middle of May as well as a series of retrogrades including Mercury Retrograde, and “things” are likely to be interesting until at least after May 22nd (arguably later because of the other retrogrades in play also).  (Clarissa has written a great piece on the Mercury Retrograde.  And you can find more about these periods for the rest of the year here.  This page may also be useful.)  The Taurus New Moooon perfected on May 6th, and we will have a Sagittarius Moon / Gemini Sun on May 21st (a day after Sun moves into Gemini).  Let’s be clear: for better or worse, “things” will change with that lunation and the accompanying Mercury direct station.

Some time in the next few days we will delete the older May predictions and add newer ones, so please do check back.  We are not gone, but we are not checking in EVERY day, either.

One final note: we know that the “Live Traffic Feed” in the sidebar is not working correctly, but the problem is not on our end.  We want to give the provider at least a few more weeks before we remove it altogether.  It has been with us since the beginning (2008), and we hate to remove it.  (But, if it continues to be broken, then we will be forced to do the inevitable.)

May 2016 (Mars Out)

Week 20 (W20)

May 8th

Today is Mothers Day, and a (very loose) Grand Cross is arguably in play.  “Things” may be a bit weird with some “things” grinding to a halt (“full stop!”), and others suddenly becoming ready for launch.  Look beyond the chaos for the opportunity, and launch whatever needs to be launched today.  That could include being kind / helpful / generous to your mother / someone else’s mother / a woman who wishes she had been someone’s mother or someone similar.  Look beyond the obvious for the opportunity to be a decent human being worthy of having had someone to care for you when you could not care for yourself.

May 9th

Jupiter stations direct today.  Some of you have been feeling this for a few days or maybe longer.  You really feel it if you, or someone close to you, is clergy (or a particularly spiritual person), a lawyer or otherwise involved with the legal system, or someone who works in higher education (or someone who once worked in one of those systems, including those who are retired or disabled).

Jupiter is associated with centaurs and kindness to animals can be a good idea today.  Consider watching Earthlings if you have never developed a sense of decency or kindness towards animals.  (Warning: “Earthlings” is not for the faint of heart.  It can be very difficult to watch!)

May 10th

Venus (Taurus) trines Jupiter (Virgo) today, and the Moon is very active.  Retrograde Mercury (Taurus) also trines the North Node (Virgo), and the outer planets are quiet.  Given the consideration that five planets are retrograde, much can be accomplished today particularly short term objectives that may be part of resurrected projects from the past.  Most people tend to benefit from today although earth signs (and water) tend to benefit the most.  This is likely the best “get things done” day of the week and maybe the entire Mercury Retrograde period.

May 11th

Most of the work day in the Western Hemisphere is void, and Venus Quincunx Saturn clearly marks that yesterday’s window of opportunity has closed and this is mostly an “off day” for most people.  Jim Shawvan marks this particular lunar void as an “opportunity period,” but we still think it is a risky period.  Avoid major commitments today if at all possible and stick to routine.

Hygeia stations direct, and issues involving health and healthcare will come to the forefront for some people.  Also, Mars sesquiquadrate Uranus in early hours tomorrow makes both today and tomorrow potentially dangerous.  Do not do anything rash in traffic, and avoid saying words that you may not be able to take back later.

May 12th

Today is a mixed bag but more good than bad and certainly better than yesterday. Today is not as good as Tuesday but much better than yesterday. Retrograde Mercury (Taurus) trines Pluto (Capricorn) and something comes back to us.  This could be an old project or it could be a lost (and important) object.  Quadrinoviles involving Vesta (bright ideas but typically more for police / military) are present this evening.

Write down those fleeting ideas and know that they can be useful later, possibly as the planets move direct.  Late evening has annoyances, and new parents may have a baby that cannot be consoled.  With yesterday’s Hygeia station consider healthcare for the young one if any doubt whatsoever exists regarding their status.

Mars sesquiquadrate Uranus in early hours makes both yesterday and today potentially dangerous.  Do not do anything rash in traffic, and avoid saying words that you may not be able to take back later.

May 13th

Retrograde Mercury and Venus join and later Venus trines Pluto.  This is all mostly benevolent, but a lunar void tells us to stick to routine after noon.  Previously planned events (and dates) may not work out.  Your date this evening might be a “no show.”  Try not to be too angry as this may have involved events beyond the control of the other person.  Stick to routine if you can, and have fun with whomever is present.

May 14th

Early morning hours are tainted by a lunar square to Mars which is wonderful for athletes and can be good for police officers but is miserable for most of the rest of us.  It is short term and will pass.  Sun sextile Chiron dominates the day bringing up issues involving healthcare, teaching, and mentors.  While all of those will not apply to you, likely one of them will apply.  Today and tomorrow the mutable T-Square we have been discussing (refer to our New Moon analysis) is activated by Moon in Virgo.  Expect irritations and channel that energy into useful accomplishment.

2016-05 W19: Forecasts for Week 19 of 2016

Archive of Week 18 (W18)

May 2016 (Mars Out)

Week 19 (W19)

May 1st

Moon enters Pisces as Sun (Taurus) sextiles Neptune (Pisces).  Generally, poetry, music, photography and videography (and cinema) prosper today whether you are audience or artist.  Vesta / Neptune quintile favors arts that examine traditions and Venus BiQuintile Mars hints at police or military traditions.  For many people, this is mostly a quiet day and a very good day to visit someone who is sick or wounded and in the hospital or otherwise in need of having their spirits lifted.

May 2nd

An early morning conjunction of the Moon and Neptune (both in Pisces) brings either good sleep or vivid dreams or maybe both.  If you did visit a sick or wounded person yesterday, then you may find that today is a turning point for them (they either get better or they “decide” it is time to leave this world).  A variant of the mutable T-Square (very loose) affects the day as Moon opposes Jupiter (Virgo) then squares Saturn (Sagittarius) over the course of the day.  You will want to wrap up old projects if you can and clean house.  “Things” can be accomplished today, but with the Moon in Pisces (and waning) and five planets retrograde (including Mercury and Mars), you should like stick to issues involving healthcare or spirituality.

May 3rd

Moon turns v/c after a sextile to (retrograde) Mercury just after midnight (CDT / EDT; before midnight MDT / PDT) and remains void until Noon (CDT) when it enters Aries.  This same period is good for cleanup and writing poetry and spiritual matters but not so much business dealings or signing contracts.  Jim Shawvan marks this as an “opportunity period,” but a risk of theft or deception is present.  (Maybe it is an “opportunity” for thieves?)

Sun trine Jupiter makes this a “feel good” day for most people, and there IS the possibility of accomplishing something profound.  Just make certain you are thoroughly prepared and be ready for “surprises” to happen anyway.  The evening tends to be quiet.

May 4th

This is a mixed day in terms of lunar aspects with trines and squares present along with a conjunction to Uranus (both in Aries).  Sun quincunx perfects late at night (or early morning depending upon your time zone), and we can be “bitten” by false hopes and unwarranted expectations.  Communications are particularly confused today.

May 5th

Today is Cinco de Mayo, a Spanish holiday.  Like Beltane (May 1st), it is associated with a Cross-Quarter Day.  A Venus (Taurus) / Mars (Sagittarius) quincunx joins the Sun (Taurus) / Saturn (Sagittarius) quincunx, and we expect communications (and transportation) to be even more confused and chaotic than yesterday.  Moon is v/c again in the early morning hours after a conjunction to Uranus (both in Aries) and “surprises” are the order of the day.  By shortly past Noon (CDT), the Moon moves into Taurus (setting the stage for the New Moon on Friday).

Since the Moon is very “old,” this is a good time to clean house and discard of unwanted or unneeded items.  This is also a time to terminate relationships that are no longer useful or helpful.  AND, that means this is also “Dark of the Moon,” and powerful intuitions can come at this time.  Some people use this window to “work magic.”

May 6th

The New Moon is today (perfection at 2:30 PM CDT), and more housecleaning is in order in the morning along with a suggestion of taking Friday afternoon “off” today.  A “cazimi” period is present from 2 PM to 3 PM (CDT), and that can be very useful for accomplishing important matters that must be done today.  Two outer planet biquintiles are present, so if you have brainstorms that require action today then do them in the cazimi period or put them on hold until another day.  After 10 PM CDT the Moon moves void, and a quiet evening at home is recommended by that point.

May 7th

Sun trines Pluto in the early morning hours, and Moon moves into Gemini (ending the void) about a half past noon CDT.  We think that this Sun / Pluto trine is strong enough (a Kite is present that includes a Grand Earth Trine that includes Jupiter and the nodes) that, once the void is over, you might accomplish something useful today.  Keep in mind that the Moon will still be in the “too early to tell” period and five planets retrograde (with Jupiter station direct on Monday) that you may have to do a “re-do” or somehow adjust your project later.  But, this is a particularly powerful kite, so you might consider plunging ahead with the opportunity anyway (even knowing that some of it might be a bit “messy”).

In Memory of Cainer

Some time over a decade ago, and before I started this blog, I discovered the work of Jonathon Cainer.  He was a standard “Sun sign” style newspaper astrologer in the UK, but he was also much more than that.  His daily entries had a remarkable quality to them that I describe as “philosophical.”  While others, myself included, would focus in on the details of what, say, a Sagittarius Moon / Gemini Sun type full moon had to say, Cainer would zoom out and speak in lyrical words of poetry about the bigger picture of such a turn of events.

He was, in a word, inspiring.

So, I was disappointed to discover this morning, May 19th, that he had passed away on May 2nd of this year, 2016.  No chance now of him reading that email that I kept thinking about sending him for years but then not sending because I wanted to remain anonymous.  No chance of somehow showing up in England and having a chance encounter where I might speak to him for a moment.  The windows are closed, and the best I can do is an analysis of his birth and death charts (based on available data) in his memory.

His birth chart is remarkable, having both a Stretched Pentagram and a Diamond in it.  These tend to be rather rare, and he had both of them.  We show the birth chart for the Stretched Pentagram first:

Cainer (Birth, Stretched Pentagram)

It is the kind of chart, from the perspective of patterns, that is nothing short of amazing.  Here is the birth chart, again, with the Diamond highlighted:

Cainer (Birth, Diamond, Beginner)

Much of the Diamond and Stretched Pentagram overlap.  The evening of Winter’s Solstice 2012 (aka “The End of the World as We Know It”) had a Diamond in it, and while 2012 came and went without the end of the world, we can say that this period of years, marked by the Uranus / Pluto squares (or, as Cainer called it: “the bell tolls seven times”) has been remarkable in changes and upheaval (“Arab Spring,” “Black Lives Matter,” the dominance of “smart phones” in our collective lives, the candidacy of Donald Trump for President, etc.)

Cainer had other patterns also.  He had a “Square Key” which is really two interlocked “Huber Learning Triangles.”  These tell us what his biography said: he worked through some rather intense “karma” to reach the point he did in life.  Life was not particularly easy for him in the beginning, and arguably it was probably fairly tough even after he had acquired fortune and fame.

Here is the chart filtered for the Square Key:

Cainer (Birth, Square Key)

Just in case that was not enough, he also had a “Double Yod Key” (DYK).  This tells us he was face with many tough decisions, the kind where you always look back and wonder “what if I had taken the other path”?  Filtered for DYK:

Cainer (Birth, Double Yod Key)

The DYK is hard to see because it is built into his other patterns.  But, if we filter for yods, we find three of them, and they are a bit more obvious:

Cainer (Birth, Double Yods)

This is NOT an “easy” life.  It is spent worrying about “what if” I had done something else.  But Cainer was also born with the ability to accomplish much, and he did.

Cainer (Birth, Rosetta, Beginner)

Finally, we see a Rosetta in the birth chart.  We interpret this as “unstable alliances,” and from what we know this was true as well.  He moved back and forth between newspapers as shifting alliances pushed him to do just that.

If we filter for a Grand Cross we do not find one, but if we filter for T-Squares, then a slightly “loose” Grand Cross is obviously present (and a source of tremendous energy and the ability to “get things done”):

Cainer (Birth, T-Squares)

A 5th Harmonic filter shows a triangular pattern (two quintiles and a biquintile) involving Mars, Pallas, and Venus:

Cainer (Birth, 5th Harmonic)

We might add here that his highly activated Neptune near Midheaven is an indicator of psychic abilities.  It can also indicate alcohol or drug problems or some kind of involvement (he did manage a bar at one point).  We suspect that he felt many people “pulling” on him.  (Neptune can be the savior / martyr complex as well.)

Seventh harmonic in the birth chart also contains a triangular pattern and is sufficiently activated to indicate, again, these “karmic” issues to work through:

Cainer (Birth, 7th Harmonic)

Vesta/Hygeia, Neptune, and Sun compose the triangular pattern and indicate, again, both psychic abilities and physical illness as well.  (We suspect that long term / chronic illness may have plagued him but that he did not disclose it publicly.)

Now to the death chart.  A single pattern dominates: a hard rectangle!

Cainer (Death, Hard Rectangle)

One other pattern is present in the death chart: a Kite (if you are willing to use North / South lunar nodes):

Cainer (Death, Kite)

We note that the remainder of the kite is formed by Mercury and Pluto, both retrograde.  It is almost as if the cosmic said “OK we will give you a little more time to accomplish something, and then it is time to go.”  We may never know what that “something” was because it likely dealt with family and financial matters.  But he had received a reprieve of some kind from what was likely a “close call” of some kind earlier.  (Again, we will likely never be able to confirm or deny this.)  This kite also says that someone, somehow, greatly benefited from his death!  (What could that mean?)

Seventh Harmonic is also interesting:

Cainer (Death, 7th Harmonic)

Mars, Astraea, and Sun are involved in a triangular 7th harmonic pattern (made of a TriSeptile and two BiSeptiles).  We wonder if some kind of legal issues were about to emerge at the time of his death.  (Again, we would bet that this is something private despite 2 out of 3 planets being above ground.)

Finally, we present the bi-wheel without patterns or much analysis except to note that his second Saturn return was upon him (and the one for the author of this blog is not too far away either).  Saturn returns often “take us home,” and that is what happened for him.

Cainer BiWheel

We have little more to add to this analysis, especially since we prefer our readers dig into it for themselves.  But, he was a giant in the field, and he will be missed.  And, as an aside, my own coming Saturn return leaves me rather “nervous.”

Grandtrines

2016-05-07 Sun Trine Pluto (Kites + Hele)

This repeats in two versions, each once a year. The other one will be in September, and both will repeat in May and September for the next few years. Sun Trine Pluto is also about power and power struggles, but the trines tend to be more benevolent than the squares in April and October.  Still, take a look back at April 7th.

Eyes of Heaven

6-7 May

Use any power in struggles wisely during this lunar month. If someone comes at you with their anger and other harsh energies, allow their stuff to pass on by, without entering your body and emotions.

If you would like to dive deeper into the lunar cycle, the folks at Zodiac Arts may help you with that study. There’s a new mandala every month to color as a meditation on the energy being experienced. Here’s their site – Zodiac Arts

Willpower Astrology

The new moon this evening occurs at 16° Taurus. New moons are a time to plant seeds that will grow into the full moon and pass my the next new moon. These cycles are said to be a time when the light of consciousness (sun) shines over the dark of our subconscious (moon), so we are more primal and less aware at this time. It’s important to channel your intentions in a way that is constructive, rather than excessively or destructively compulsive. New moons are also good times for gauging what is working and what isn’t from the last moon cycle.

With the new moon in Taurus the focus is on creating and relishing in your personal value, developing the senses, and finding solidity within yourself.

Taurus is related to the 2nd House of Values. This isn’t in relation to anyone else, this is only within yourself. It’s what…

- Our Royal Way -

We’re under the gaze of an intense New Moon in Taurus (integrating Earth) today. Settle into yourself and launch what needs launching already.

BTW CHECK THE (RX) RETROGRADING PLANETS. There are 5. Whatever you held onto in secret for the past several years, now is the time where it all comes out.

Get out of the closet because it’s burning down, bbs.
And very practically in a luxurious full-feeling kinda way. Will your dance be tragic or revolutionary?

This is an extremely practical transit with the focus being on empowered and creative touch, tactile, sensation, luxury, what you are more than who you are. All the Taurus and Sag plus Jupiter in Virgo lead me to this, plus just the experience from literally EVERYONE around me.

The truth of what you are is heavy on the mind, so let it root. The simple truths of what kind of animal you…

Mercury Retrograde with New Moon in Taurus: It’s not depression – you’re just demoralized, and it’s deliberate

Insights

As the current Mercury Retrograde in earthy Taurus allows us to direct our mental faculties inwardly, and the Taurus New Moon allows both inner and outer modes of consciousness, rational and instinct, head and heart, to align for a moment, we can ask ourselves why it is that mental vulnerability is so on the increase.

PsywarWhen I left university in the eighties, depression was known to affect some in society around the age of 30, but currently researchers say first onset can occur at age 15. Duke University researcher Stephen Izard describes how the rate of depression in the West seems to be doubling every generation. This implies that basically every second person of 18-29 years old will be depressive by mid life, and what’s more, in the next generation after that, everyone will be depressed.

Consciousness expression is moving fast this century, much like global climate change, creeping toward…
