We are between eclipses this week. Last week I added a post script to the end of the blog suggesting there could be weather or earth change related events to come. It seemed like my earthquake app was sending me alerts almost hourly. There were so many, I stopped paying much attention. Today I pulled up the USGS info for the past week and counted 90 earthquakes around the world at a magnitude of 4.5 or higher. WOW! That is over a dozen a day.

What I failed to mention was the severe human factor we might see last week. I will not cover these events because they are too close to politics, a topic I try to steer clear of. However, there may be no way for me to avoid it completely in the future.

The Solar Eclipse that happens August 21st, 2017 at 2:24 EST is a New Moon, in which the moon passes between the sun and Earth and blocks all or part of the sun for up to about three hours, from beginning to end, as viewed from a given location.  The Sun and the Moon will be conjunct at 28 degrees Leo, the second New Moon in the constellation in a row.  This Solar eclipse will be joined by the North Node and Mars not too far behind.  It will also be conjunct the Royal Star Regulus and trine Uranus, signifying major and abrupt changes.

Like any New Moon, the Solar Eclipse is a time for setting intentions…

On August 12, Mercury will station retrograde in 11° of Virgo and begin its journey backwards to 28° of Leo. With Mercury about to station retrograde, many of us are already feeling a bit of the retro-funk; fuzzy brained, slow motion reality, indecisiveness and a general feeling of discontentment with life. However, because this retrograde happens to take place in between eclipses – a period of time where life typically feels fast paced, urges us to move forward, and make big changes – this retro-funk may display itself a bit differently than usual.

It’s that time again! Mercury goes Retrograde from 11 degrees Virgo to 28 degrees Leo, starting tonight and going until 5.30am MST on September 5.

Mercury went retrograde in Virgo last summer too, although it stayed in the sign. This time it backs up to the very degree of the Total Solar Eclipse (which happens 8/21) in the sign of Leo. This means all of the analytical reevaluation plus dramatic feelings on top! I think this particular retrograde phase will bring focus to the Virgo-ruled work environment. But this time it won’t be “am I doing the best I can do?” This time it’ll be “do I give two shits about what I am doing?” ARE WE HAVING FUN YET? will be the typical lament of this time. And you’ll really wonder…

On Saturday at a few parties on the river, a lot of information came flying through. Mercury is very far ahead of the Sun as he pulls into his Rx Station Saturday night at 9:01pm EST.

Mercury is providing us the ‘bookends’ of the Solar Eclipse’s ‘fresh start.’ As this is a Total Eclipse over the US we can expect some BIG changes to occur here.

Between parties I received a phone call (Mercury) about some rioting in Charlottesville, VA between 2 polarized groups. The Eclipse, at 28+ degrees Leo will Oppose my Natal Chiron in my 10th House of ‘authority and career’. The ‘rioting’ is part of a pattern of deception that has been revealing itself around authority.

The Total Eclipse over the Middle East and Egypt brought the ‘Arab Spring’ of unrest beginning in 2011. Could this be the beginning of unrest across the US?

First I would like to remind everyone eclipses are a normal occurrence, usually happening at least four times a year. This one has gained an unusual amount of attention because it is a total solar eclipse sweeping across the USA . . . that’s all. That’s not to say it won’t be an awe inspiring event because having experienced one first hand many years ago, I can attest it will be amazing!

This is the second New Moon in Leo this year (the first was on July 23 at 0°44 Leo). The New Moon Solar Eclipse is at 28° 53 Leo on 21 August 2017, 11:30 AM PDT. What lights it up even more is an exact trine to revolutionary Uranus in Aries, guaranteed to get our creative juices flowing! Wow we really are in the most extraordinary time of change and new beginnings for us. The greatest push or energetic surge for awakening that I have felt in a while and I love it, I am so excited about the changes that are happening in your lives!

We have just had A New Moon Lunar Eclipse, followed the next day by Lions Gate and on the 21^st we have a Full Moon Solar Eclipse, this brings intense powerful energy with the ability to create great change, within in you.

I love the way the Universe gets us into position, if we allow it and take the time for ourselves. It is such a fascinating dance and if we just flow with the music the steps take care of themselves.
