Denver Shootings at King Sooper 2021-03-22

In our post about the Georgia Spa Killings of March 16, 2021, we stated in reference to the Thor’s Hammer (God’s Fist) pattern in the Vernal Equinox of 2021 (first day of Spring AND the Astrological New Year) that “Other Tragedies May Follow.”  Sadly, this has proven to be true: the “Denver Shootings at King Sooper #33” in Boulder, Colorado on March 22, 2021 are exactly the kind of event we feared.

Information is sketchy. We have no name for the shooter at this time and certainly no birth data.  (But, unconfirmed information is circulating.)  (Update: March 23rd @ 1248 CDT Plano TX : Boulder Police Chief Maris Herold has identified the suspect : “Al Aliwi Alissa,” 21, a Syrian-born man and resident of Arvada, Colorado  Birth Data : Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa’s date of birth has been reported as 4/17/1999. No birth time is available (yet), but we have proposed possible natal charts for Al Aliwi Alissa.)

Timing of events is missing; We are using 5:33 CDT (time of announcement on CBS News in Dallas) and treating the chart more like an horary (in reverse, like “Jeopardy”) with adjustments to Boulder, Colorado.

Update: Police Chief Maris Herold has provided useful timing that we will use for future analysis: (1) police arrived on the scene at approximately 2:40 PM MDT and (2) the suspect was taken into custody at 3:28 PM MDT.  Since we are receiving this information during a Moon v/c period (Moon in Cancer, so she “performeth somewhat” according to William Lilly.), we will wait on publishing any additional analysis (or analyses) until later.

An aside : Numerology: 2021-03-22 reduces to a nine (9) and disappears leaving the store #: Store #33!

To be certain, this chart does not easily give up its secrets. But, digging into it is worthwhile. We will first cover the key points, expand them, then provide the various filtered versions of the chart to support our analysis.

Key Points

The following points matter:
– Like the Atlanta shooter chart, this is a death chart, and for the same reasons
– Asc is in the first three degrees of Virgo (“too early to tell”) and more information will be forthcoming, possibly after the moon changes signs (from its home in Cancer into Leo); BUT Regulus is on the ascendant, also, and that raises important issues about “avoiding revenge.”- Algol is conjunct MC of chart: among other things, Algol is about beheadings (literal) and “losing your head” (doing terrible things that ruin your life)
– Three objects are key in this chart: Mercury, Mars, and Vesta
– Uranus, Pluto, and the Nodes are also important, but they are part of a bigger picture, a worrisome configuration that extends beyond the events of this chart
– Mercury / Vesta and the Nodes form a Grand Cross (Mars is part of it)
– A “Golden Yod” is present: two biquintile objects that quintile each other and have an apex planet; the legendary “abuse of power” is in play here
– A Hele is present (an ongoing Hele, and this is about politics more than the details of the shooting)
– Other aspects are also in play (particularly with Sun and Chiron) also

The Denver Shooter Chart is a Death Chart

The casual observer might say, “that’s obvious.” But, we mean this is a death chart in a technical sense. Here’s why:

The ruler of the 8th is in the 10th. The 8th house cusp of this chart is Aries, and the ruler of Aries (Mars) is in the 10th House (and this brings fame). THAT makes sense given that the chart is an ANNOUNCEMENT of the deaths.
However, at least some (if not all) of the shootings happened earlier, and that means MORE planets are in the 8th, possibly as many as the 8th House Stellium of the chart of the start of the Atlanta Shootings.

Those two facts (Ruler of the 8th in the 10th; 8th House Stellium) make this a death chart.

Ascendant (“Too Early to Tell”)

Asc is in the first three degrees of Virgo (“too early to tell”) and more information will be forthcoming, possibly after the moon changes signs (from its home in Cancer into Leo)
Given “considerations” used by Horary practitioners, particularly those that follow the work of William Lily, this chart is not “fit to be read.”
Practically speaking, that means the story will change. Facts have been concealed (probably by the police since this is an “ongoing investigation”), and our view of the events will likely undergo some changes later.
Regulus is at the ascendant. Regulus is ordinarily a beneficial (and powerful!) star that promises success “if revenge is avoided.” A certain individual has been identified as possibly being a shooter (we will withhold the name until later), and this particular individual has a history of attempting to engage in “revenge.” (Are we surprised where this led?) Update: (March 23rd @ 1424 CDT (Plano TX) : The shooter has been identified, and also had “revenge” issues, but different from the initial individual who was incorrectly singled out by unidentified internet sources.  Again, “too early to tell” at the time of the announcement on network television.)

Algol at Midheaven

Algol, the most malefic of fixed stars, is at Midheaven of the chart, the most powerful position.  We have written about Algol (“the ghoul”) and how malefic it is a number of times in the past, particularly with the Vernal Equinox of 2010.

Mercury, Mars, and Vesta

We already have explored Vesta in the recent Atlanta shooting analysis. We will say, here, that we note that a police officer was among the ten victims who were murdered.

But, that is not the end of the story. Mercury is square Mars, one of the most malefic planetary aspects (the others are variants on Mars or Pluto). Again, like Algol at MC, that is a powerful pronouncement.

BUT, Mercury is opposite Vesta (“exact,” meaning less than a degree and “partile”); Vesta squares Mars also; the three form a T-Square.
But, when is a T-Square not a T-Square? The answer is “when it is part of a Grand Cross.” In this case, the nodes are in play with Mars applying to a conjunction with the North Node (and, therefore, opposite the South Node). Include the nodes, and we have a Grand Cross in play.

Uranus, Pluto, and the Nodes

We could stop and have a successful analysis of this chart. But, as is popular to say among late night advertisers, “but wait, there’s more!” And, there is.
Uranus is sesquiquadrate the South Node and Pluto is sesquiquadrate the North Node. This is the most disturbing aspect of the chart since, similar to the Thor’s Hammer in the Vernal Equinox, it is a longer term kind of effect, signaling a series of problems involving death and violence during this period.

We may see a rash of shooters, mixed in with weather disasters and other devastating events.

Golden Yod (5th Harmonic)

A Golden Yod is present. This SHOULD be a benevolent pattern, but it gives an enormous amount of power (and encourages abuse of power). Adolf Hitler had one of these in his birth chart. More specifically, Moon and Uranus form a Golden Yod with the South Node at the Apex.

In Karmic terms, this shooter has participated in similar dramas for many lifetimes. So far, he has not learned the lesson.

Hele

A hele is present. This will be politicized, just as the Atlanta Shootings has been.

Sun Sextile Saturn (1) (2020-03-19)

Sun Sextile Saturn (1) (2020-03-19)

Grand Conjunction versus the Anaretic Sextile Prior to Vernal Equinox

Many other astrologers are focused on the “Grand Conjunction” that happens at the end of this year.  Those happen every twenty years, and I have no doubt that they are important.  However, I think I have found something even more rare and even more important.  The aspect has been perfecting as I have researched and am writing this article.  I call it (full name) “Anaretic Sextile Prior to Vernal Equinox.”  For sake of brevity, we will just call it the “Anaretic Sextile” even though other similar aspects exist.  (Otherwise, “Grand Conjunction” will win this face-off just because it is easier to pronounce.)

What Makes It Special?

What makes it special? First of all, it is far more rare.  The last one appears to have happened in 1961.  The next one happens in 2167.  And a search from 1000 AD to 2500 AD yields only nine (9) similar occurences.  NINE occurrences across 1,500 years.  Across 1,500 years, the Anaretic Sextile appears to have happened nine times, a maximum of nine times (and maybe not that much).

Some of you say: so what?  Many things are rare.  But that does not make them important.  But, as I wrote in my previous article (March 18th through 19th of 2020: Sun in Pisces, Anaretic and Saturn in Capricorn, Anaretic), this aspect is important for several reasons (which I repeat here):

  1. The five point stellium is obvious and does not differ significantly for the charts of entry of Sun into the anaretic degree (the entire focus of this entry) for charts for New York, Los Angeles, or Plano (my location). And, none of the regular patterns we look at (T-Square, Grand Trine, Grand Cross, etc.) are present in these charts.
  2. The most important thing is that BOTH the Sun AND Saturn are in anaretic degrees during this period.  (That is unusual.)  Specifically, the Sun is in the anaretic degree of Pisces (possibly the most powerful of all anaretic degrees since it is truly about endings) and Saturn is in the anaretic degree of Capricorn (its home!).  Saturn MUST make a statement of some kind before it leaves home.  And the Sun is in the same position as we close out one astrological year and start another.
  3. A triangular fifth harmonic pattern exists.  I identify this will little commentary, preferring that others reblog my work and add their own commentary.
  4. A triangular seventh harmonic pattern exists.  Again, I offer little commentary for the same reason as previous.
  5. I offer a number of maps.  While all are interesting to some greater or lesser degree, only three are truly compelling: (1) Western Canada (which places both Saturn and Pluto on the Fourth House Cusp, sometimes called either the “final resting place” or, more explicitly, “the grave”); (2) China (and that would seem obvious, but seeing the astrological maps confirming it is noteworthy) and (3) the UK (again, obvious based on what is happening there but, again, seeing the astrological maps confirming it is noteworthy).
  6. The other maps DO have stories to tell, just not quite as much as Canada / China / UK.
  7. I think this set of charts might tell us more about what happening than the Vernal Equinox charts..  (But, the Vernal Equinox charts, via the Thor’s Hammer pattern, hint that some serious “unrest” could be facing us.)

Please do keep in mind that much of this is “higher order” and easy to miss.  But, from an astrological point of view, the change the Coronavirus is bringing (Saturn is a tough taskmaster!) fits with this aspect, the Anaretic Sextile.

What Does it Mean for Me?

I have not (yet) explored the other eight occurrences to determine any other similarities of their configurations.  Since the perfection of the aspect is now past (by twenty eight (28) minutes of clock time as I write this, with the Coronavirus Pandemic exploding and thunderstorms rolling in, part of the same group of storms that produced hail and tornadoes here in Texas last night), it cannot be used in any “electional” sense.  However, it can be used as a diagnostic, if individuals are willing to look back at their activities on this Thursday evening from 6:49 PM CDT until 10:49 PM CDT, but particularly within a few minutes of 6:49 CDT.

If you must know, this tiny sliver of time, properly scrutinized, can give you a glimpse into either (1) your “true calling” or (2) “you destiny” or (3) both.  Remember the scene from “Last Crusade” where the old Templar said, “Choose wisely”?

Does this happen much?  (The Anaretic Sextile, not the Templar scene)

Not much.  As mentioned earlier, I ran a search on Sun Sextile Saturn, Sun in Pisces and Saturn in Capricorn.  Many of the “matches” are not really matches.  True matches would be sometime between March 18th and March 22.  I have not made the effort to winnow the list down further.

As Columbo Would Say

As Columbo would say, “just one more thing.”  A similar followup aspect will happen again on November 19th of this year.  To be certain, it will be different.  But, no question about it, it is a followup version.   Maybe the time to start planning for it is NOW.

Seven Point Stellium

However, I do have more than one thing to add.  First, if you count Pallas in Capricorn and Ceres in Capricorn, this is a Seven Point Stellium!  To say the least, those tend to be rare, also.  (We filter for the stellium in the above chart.)

But Wait!  There’s More

Familiar with the late night television infomercial line, “but wait, there’s more”?  It applies here.  Remember the Thor’s Hammer we mentioned in “Vernal Equinox of 2020“?  Well, guess what?  Vesta on one leg, remember that?  Well, Vesta is anaretic in this chart, also. (We filter for the Thor’s Hammer in the chart below.)

Let us be clear: the asteroids are trying to tell us something.  Sometimes they simply duplicate what the planets are saying.  But, in this case, they add important nuances to the message.

Wednesday, February 24th 2016 (and Tuesday the 23rd)

Another busy day greets us, especially with lunar aspects.  Jupiter opposes Chiron, then the Moon joins Jupiter and immediately opposes Chiron.  Health, healing, work, play, and education issues continue from yesterday.  Really, no rest for the weary today.

Wednesday February 24th

Some of us are still feeling Jupiter opposite Chiron.  It has been building for weeks, and we will still feel it at least through the end of Pisces 2016.  It touched us in November 2015, and it will touch us again in August of 2016.  Health and healing issues (and all things of Jupiter / Chiron) are central issues during this period.

We have something of a break, at least from the frantic lunar aspects, today as a void Moon swallows most of the work day in the Western Hemisphere.  Moon moves into Libra at 4:42 PM CST after going void at 8:23 AM CST on this same day.  It is a bit of a “day off” to recover and process the hectic activity of the past few days.  Use the time to center yourself (and clean house) wisely.  An early morning Mercury / Saturn sextile tomorrow influences today and tells us to pay attention to details especially when doing anything even remotely important.

Outer planet aspects are relatively quiet with the most important one being Vesta Quadrinovile Juno.  Something about our traditions or customs somehow can or does protect us in matters where trust is an issue.  Stick to well-known and tried and true methods and ideas during this time and steer clear of anything remotely weird or “creative” offered by others on this day.  If you have creative ideas yourself, write them down and save them for another day.  Venus semi-sextiles Neptune, so you WILL be tempted.  Just know better and do better.

And, as we mentioned before, pay attention to details.  Whether you are scammed today or not, pay attention to details so that you can spot some similar scheme in the future.  Issues involving prosperity (Ceres, particularly food), the legal system (Astraea), and power, police, and finances (Pluto) are in play here.  The scam might be a scammer on the phone (or in email) posing as your “bank” or posing as the “police.”  Do not be taken in!  Hang up on them and CALL the bank, or police, directly yourself.  Let’s be clear, for many of us “something” is up today.

Chances are good that they will play loss aversion on you:  “ACT NOW to prevent xyz loss.  We are trying to help you.”  Bite on this lure, and you will become the fish fry for supper.  Don’t fall for it!

Pay attention to details: did you get the area code, license plate number, etc.?  (Keep in mind you CAN win here!  Just don’t take the bait, and capture the details to report to the (real) police, bank, etc.

Saturday February 20th 2016 Week 08 (W08)

This is an energetic Saturday, and you can “get things done.”  And, you will feel an urge to do just that.  Issues involving health, education, finances, and taxes come to the forefront.  For some people these will be issues with the police or intelligence agencies.  Take advantage of your sense of urgency and complete what you can.

Moon (Leo) opposes Mercury, Venus (Aquarius) followed by a quincunx to Neptune (Pisces) and a trine to Saturn (Sagittarius).  Of all the days this week, this might be the best one for “getting things done,” and oddly it favors fire and air signs (though the Sun is in Pisces and applying, ultimately, to Neptune and Chiron).  If we zoom out and look at Saturday and Sunday together, we could argue that a (very loose) Fire Grand Trine is present.

Venus (Aquarius) is semi-square Chiron (Pisces), and Sun (Pisces) is semi-square Pluto (Capricorn).  This creates quite a push to “get things done,” and issues of healthcare (or education) and finances (Capricorn) are part of the mix.  Mercury (Aquarius) semi-sextiles Neptune (Pisces).  Fire and air signs may be favored, but Pisces and Capricorn clearly have a voice today.  And Mercury / Neptune tells us that (some) people will tend to wax poetic (if not grandiose).  No “Mars Out” higher order aspects are in play, so look to the earlier aspects this week as well as the Vesta Quadrinovile Juno aspect tomorrow (a skill involving exploring “how we have always done it” and trust & fidelity issues).

Tomorrow remains very similar, and these two days should be considered together for some important project.  (Possibly a home improvement project, but certainly an important one.)

Thursday February 4th

Venus perfects a semi-sextile to Saturn early at 7:15 AM CST.  Moon becomes v/c (void of course) after perfecting a square to Jupiter at 4:04 AM CST and the moon stays void until entry into Capricorn at 6:45 PM CST.  Moon square Jupiter tends to lead us to overeat or overspend.  This is both a day in which we are cleaning up from Wednesday AND a very “metaphysical” day.

The early Venus Semi-Sextile Saturn aspect makes this feel like another workday, but even more than previously please do stick to routine and resist the temptation to follow the absurd or extreme.  You will see the wisdom (or folly) of your actions by evening.

Outer planet aspects include Uranus conjunct Vesta (a followup from Monday).  Mars Semisquare Hygeia brings in issues from Tuesday and give them a powerful sense of urgency.  But, the moon is void for most of the workday, and we find it difficult to accomplish certain tasks despite their pressing urgency.

February 1st 2016 (W06)

A glance at the Mystic Rectangles monthy “Mars Out” forecast shows several septile (triseptile) aspects of outer planets.  These aspects are subtle, but they mark this as a day of karma in which we best help ourselves by anonymously helping someone less fortunate than ourselves without expecting anything in return.

Pluto / Vesta are square, and we find a conflict between “doing things the way we have always done them” and the true sources of power present in power structures such as the police and intelligence agencies.  For some people, this is a time of very kinky sex (if you are into that kind of thing).  For anyone who is a “sex worker”: please be extra careful at this time.

Please keep in mind that we are still processing, and clearing out, the energy of the T-Square perfections of the past weekend (Friday / Sunday).

Some of what we said Sunday bears repeating here:

For some people, this is the kind of Sunday where, on Monday, you pretend to leave for work but go somewhere entirely different and hide for a day or week or year. (Maybe you “go out for cigarettes and never come back,” as was popular in the 1950’s and 1960’s.) Do keep in mind that “this too shall pass,” and “things” will become different. (Not “better” or “worse” but “different.”) But, again, this will be a critically important turning point for some people who choose to move into new circumstances.

While we are technically still in the “retrograde shadow,” in many ways moving past this final aspect of the sequence ends this particular sequence of dramas and opens the door for us to (finally!) move in new directions. But, in January of 2017 (when Mercury conunct Pluto perfects again), we may want to revisit our thoughts, notes, and decisions at this time.

Mars (in Scorpio) is septile the North Node, and this harkens to those willing to do the work to transform their lives, starting today.  I am especially speaking to anyone in a criminal occupation or group who is considering doing something like “Witness Relocation.”  Do it today, and never look back.  It will not be easy, but one day you will be grateful to yourself that you did.

For the rest of us, consider what big leap you need to make today or at the time of the New Moon (a week from today).  That NM has a Double Yod Key (DYK), and everyone will face a GROUP of important decisions at that time.  (For more about 2016 New Moons, click here.)

Shortly after entry into Scorpio on October 23rd, Sun forms a quincunx (150 degree aspect) with Vesta.  A Hele pattern is also present.  Here is the chart for the perfection of the aspect, filtered for the Hele pattern:

Factions and cliques polarize at this time and may make efforts that are both extreme and underhanded but ineffective.  This results in bad feelings and anger but does not improve the position of any particular group significantly (or, if it initially appears significant, then it does not last).

Expect to see poor decision making at this time that may be driven by emotions (particularly anger) related to traditions.

A Thor’s Hammer pattern involving Hygeia (health and healthcare issues), Vesta (traditions), and Pluto (sex, birth, death, rebirth, taxes, police, intelligence agencies and someone else’s money) begins Sunday, September 6, 2015 and lasts at least through Thursday, September 10th.  Expect to see issues arise involving healthcare, bureaucracies (e.g. health insurance companies), and government agencies.  Healthcare may rise again as a critically important political issue.  Chances are good you will see something about this in your personal life.

During this week, we will also see Sun square Pallas perfect on September 8th.  By the weekend, we will see Sun opposite Chiron perfect on September 12th, which will bring some of these issues into an unavoidable confrontation.  As we always say, avoid rash actions (and rash people) and focus your energies into productive accomplishments.

We also note the formation of Hele patterns.  This tells us that strong alliances will emerge from this conflict, some of them long lasting.  Polarization of attitudes is likely, and compromise is unlikely.

Thought you were done with the job on Tuesday?  Not so.  Mercury Trine Saturn tells you have more work to do, and you are facing a deadline.  Worse yet, you are torn between work (Saturn) and play (Jupiter) by a Thor’s Hammer with Vesta (traditions usually, but sometimes kinky sex) at its apex.

All work and no play… …but Venus into Virgo still says work, Work, WORK!  Try to decide without losing your temper; focus that energy into something productive whether it is work or play or some mix of both.

New Moon (Cancer) 2015-07-15 T-Square and Grand Trine

The New Moon (NM) of July 15, 2015 follows the culmination of a Mars / Pluto opposition (typically occurs about once every two years) and precedes a Mercury / Mars conjunction (typically a once a year event unless a Mercury Retrograde makes it happen three times).  What does that mean?

Let us clarify: one of those tends to make people really angry and do things they sometimes regret later.  The other tends to make people really angry and say things they regret later.  BOTH of them are happening TOGETHER.  (And they set the stage to pull the trigger on the upcoming Blue Moon.)

Solar Fire shows a T-Square pattern with Vesta in a square relationship to both Mars and Pluto, but really the Vesta / Uranus midpoint more precisely squares them.  (Vesta tends to be tradition but can be perverse sex, Uranus tends to be surprises and revolutions and can also be perverse sex.)  While the NM itself seems relatively benevolent, it will likely occur as part of an activating event that may precipitate potential violence, revolution of dangerous events at or near this time.  (Or, it COULD be really, Really, REALLY good sex.  Take your pick.)

A Grand Trine (grand fire trine) involving Vesta, Hygeia, and Pallas is in play.  Since these are asteroids, their effects may not be as obvious, and the opportunities may not be as obvious.  To those who do see and seize them, these may involve “battlefield promotions.”  (These may be either literal or symbolic.)

Notice, also, the ABSENCE of air and the PREPONDERANCE of water.  People are *NOT* thinking during this time; they are “emoting.”

As noted previously, this NM occurs between two full moons in the same month, the second one being a blue moon.

We note that Pallas participates in both of these HLT’s as well as the Grand Trine.  We suspect that this indicates a strong “Pallas” influence in this NM.

We normally think of a Virgo moon as being relatively benevolent.  But, this day is filled with the Quincunx (aka Inconjunct), and misunderstandings abound.  January of 2015 is rich in patterns, and in this post we are singling out two for analysis.

First, we note that the day is characterized by a Hele (this chart is set at a time chosen by Solar Fire 8 for the beginning on the Hele, but the Hele itself covers roughly a 24 hour period, so the ascendant is not particularly meaningful here):

As we have discussed before, the Hele appears to be a polarizing pattern, encouraging people to choose one of two sides.  (e.g. “police” v. “minorities”)  In the case of this Hele, one side is relatively mainstream or traditional or “the way things have always been.”  This is the Sun/Moon trine (with Vesta in the mix).  The other side is a combination of trust v. distrust (Juno) and surprises (Uranus) with, paradoxically, a tendency to keep things the way they always have been (South Node).  That is, the alternate leg involves issues of trust v. mistrust along with surprises (and possibly innovations).

While the Moon / Juno (internal self and trust issues) side of this Hele is in harmony, the Sun (outer self and authority figures) / Uranus (surprises, explosions, revolutions, insights) is not in harmony.

A hele, by itself, does not necessarily spark action.  But this day also contains a focused yod.  We note that, in addition to requiring a decision and likely action, the focused yod also likely contains possible answers to the questions posed by the Hele:

This focused yod contains Chiron / Juno as one leg and Chiron / North Node as the other.  The choice is between continuing to be caught in issues of trust and distrust, probably mired in them, or doing the hard work necessary to move forward.  With Juno in Leo, we can tell that a great deal of ego is involved and “letting go” just is not going to come very easily.  And the North Node is in Libra and focuses on relationship issues and what some call “give and take.”  The moon provides a possible anwser as it has earlier opposed Chiron and offered answers in the form of work and play (Virgo = work, Pisces = Play) combined with a need to become highly organized in order to move forward necessary healing.

We will close this post by saying that today signifies the work to be done but does not show that the problems are solved.  Today’s messages will be ones of what needs to be done, and what can be done, instead of any final resolution.

Pay attention to what signs and ideas come your way.

One last thing: I check the search engine terms for this site.  One of you ran a search for “astraea paris october eclipse.”  I went back and checked my post on that eclipse, the most recent solar eclipse, and indeed an astraea line is dead center on Paris at the time of that eclipse.  (Thanks to whoever ran the search.)

Moon in Cancer in November of 2014: T-Squares and Grand Trines

The Moon in Cancer in November of 2014 creates a series of interesting (and contradictory!) patterns.  On one hand, Moon will join with Uranus and Pluto (in the well known and often discussed Uranus/Pluto square pattern) to form a T-Square.  On the other hand, the Moon will join with Mars and Neptune to form a Grand Trine (Grand Water Trine).  The first causes conflict and energizes people to “take action” while the second tends to be gentler and more relaxed (and sometimes an opportunity to make a quite a bit of money).

Moments of greatest tension occur when (1) Moon opposes Pluto, (2) Moon squares Uranus, and (3) Moon conjoins Hygeia (an asteroid governing health and health issues).  If one counts the node (a point and not an actual body), then one might argue this is an (ongoing) grand cross.

Ordinarily, we would describe this period as being either “energetic” or “challenging” depending on how you use (or flow through) the energy.  But a grand trine (a grand water trine) is in play as well!  This pattern actually begins on November 9th (as we are writing the second part of this entry) and concludes later on the 10th.

Someone, maybe several someones, will see an incredibly opportunity during this period and convert it into some serious money.  We note, also, that if one chooses to include Vesta, that a Grand Fire Trine is ALSO operative with Uranus in Aries, Jupiter in Leo, and Vesta in Sagittarius.  (Wow!)  This video shows how STRONG these relationships are:

If you have been looking for a window to “get things done,” then this window of time is it!  While most signs benefit during this period, Scorpios benefit most.

We see some indication that we may be entering a period of austerity (or a cold winter?) as Venus is between the Sun and Saturn (all in Scorpio) with Mars applying to conjoin Saturn (both in Capricorn).  Saturn and Pluto continue in mutual reception, as has been true since 2012.  Will be interesting to see what the financial markets do.  We note that Mars and Vesta are semi-octile, and that might be the most important aspect during this full moon.  (More discussion on this below after the Modulus Sort Strips.)  We also note a Huber triangle involving Sun / Moon / Chiron (as shown in the next version of the chart).

Similarly important, Astraea (at 29 Pisces) is semi-square the Moon and Sesquisquare the Sun (in a pattern we have not seen named before but similar to a T-Square or arguably the Huber triangle).  (This is all about some injustice that has NOT been resolved!)

One thing that benefits this full moon is that none of the planets are peregrine.  The arabic parts generally look favorable as well.

We see a very busy group of midpoint trees.  Here is the Modulus Sort strips, another way to identify relationships that may not otherwise be entirely obvious:

Notice that the last strip, the 22.5 strip, shows Vesta/Mars next to each other.  This means that they are “semi-octile” with is a 16th Harmonic aspect.  But, what does that mean?  Discussions abound, and opinions vary.

My interpretation is that the semi-octile is a kind of “irritation,” a bit like the persistent annoyance of a pebble in the shoe that ultimately must be addressed.

With Vesta/Mars the two bodies joined by semi-octile, we suspect some people may be either quite irritable or outright enraged (possibly by some event near the FM).  We will see some of this after the elections in the U.S., but they not a cause of the problem (the elections reflect other underlying problems).  Any polarization that occurred with the Rosettas of October will more clearly emerge at this time.  Remember, also, that on a much large scale we are choosing (collectively and individually) one of two major forks in the road (i.e. The Grand Yod).

We have indicated Mars/ Vesta in the 22.5 strip in this last graphic using deep red.  (The 22.5 strip is the last in the series.)  Two strips above it, the fourth in the series, is the 45 degree strip.  Here, at the end, we see Sun / Moon / Astraea as noted using light blue.  As mentioned before, this is about an injustice that is unresolved.  Justice must be had here.  Given the upcoming Thor’s Hammer days circa November 14/15, we shudder to think of what may happen if whatever coverup(s) have been going on are not exposed in a peaceful manner.

We also identify four (4) themes that emerge from four (4) Triseptiles during this period.  (“Triseptiles” are higher order aspects that are difficult to interpret; those who do attempt to interpret them claim that they are “karmic” in nature.)

1.  Jupiter BISeptile Ceres (and Ceres square Neptune): This is a large, higher order set of issues involving education and law (Jupiter), the food supply (Ceres), and healthcare & drugs (Neptune).  Jupiter in Leo indicates that we can expect dramatic changes, Ceres in Sadge strengthens Jupiter’s role, and Neptune introduces a sense of urgency and annoyance as the solutions dissolve into failures (and lessons for better solutions in the future).

The full moon itself (Moon opposes Sun) is part of a Huber triangle involving Chiron (the “wounded healer,” another indicator of education and healthcare issues).  This Sun / Moon / Chiron triangle will almost certainly activate the Jupiter / Ceres / Neptune pattern on a mundane level.  (Maybe part of the key to dealing with the Ebola problem will involve education of healthcare workers?)

2.  Juno BiSeptile Saturn: Issues and trust and betrayal collide with policies that may be too “bare bones” to protect those that should be protected.  Change becomes necessary.

3.  Pallas TriSeptile Uranus: in the low form, surprise attacks.  In the high form, insights that result in breakthroughs, particularly technological breakthroughs.  Given the nature of Pallas, some of these may be military in nature and the information not available to the public.

4.  Vesta BiSeptile Astraea: Similar in many ways to #3.  A push to address injustices boils to the surface.  The Vesta / Mars semi-octile discussed earlier ties into this and is the “pebble in the shoe” that heightens the pressure to obtain justice and redress the wrongs.

Full Moon of October 8th (October 2014 Full Moon)

We see the Moon in Aries opposing the Sun in Libra, which is what we expect at this time of year.  Several things make this FM interesting.  First of all, Pluto in Capricorn squares it, which greatly heightens the tension.  Some of the people born at this time will be quite remarkable, judges, or generals, or maybe serial killers.  If you use asteroids in your interpretations, then we see Hygeia (healthcare and health issues) in Cancer in opposition to Pluto in Capricorn.  I would not be surprised to see HMO’s or some similar kind of healthcare issue pop up in the news.  (We already have the Ebola discussion, but this involves something financial, such as why Big Pharma has not funded much (any?) research on developing a vaccine for Ebola.)

[Update: Thomas Eric Duncan dies on this date (less than two hours after culmination of the full moon), spurring much debate about the healthcare system.  NY Times Article. ]

Another condition that makes this FM interesting is that Mercury is retrograde.  Some things really are “coming to a head” or to a “boiling point” with this FM and some people will decide that “something must be done.”  We may see some kind of important breakthrough about six days after the FM as Mercury moves backwards to conjoin Pallas.  Alan Lin describes Pallas as the “Goddess of Applied Intelligence.”  We may not see a good window to fully apply this breakthrough until after the New Moon and possibly until after Mercury turns direct.

All of that SHOULD be enough, but we note, also, that a Grand Fire Trine is in play: Moon and Uranus together in Aries, Jupiter in Leo, and Mars (and Vesta!) in Sagittarius.  This provides the inspiration to “get things done” but does have the danger of “much talk and no action.”  Whether or not action occurs depends on Pluto (finances) in this case.  If you decide to become enthusiastic about something, pick a project (or projects) that have the resources (money) to actually be done.  Otherwise it will all be much ado about nothing.

Like one of those late night television advertisements, here is where we say “but, wait! That’s not all!”  Remember that rare (and USEFUL!) Quintile Kite that we keep talking about!  Well, that happens the NEXT DAY on October 9th.  Use this surplus of energy (FM, Grand Cross, Grand Trine) on a project that is feasible (Pluto in Capricorn) and funnel those energies into creative solutions (Pallas, Vesta, Quntile Kite).  Solving problems involving healthcare issues are especially favored.  And, keep in mind that you may hit some bumps in the road.  You may not see progress until after the New Moon or even after Mercury makes the Direct Station (October 21st).

Apparently some of you do like the maps (I received some feedback about this).  Keep in mind that what I put up, or say, depends on feedback.  1,000 visitors and no one comments about maps means that no one is interested and I take them down.  (And, yes, that kind of thing can easily happen.  This site sees roughly 12,000 to 13,000 visitors per year currently, so 1,000 visitors can easily come through in a month.  A month with no comments leads me to believe that I do not have much interest in what I am doing and I expend my time and energy elsewhere.)

This is a very active map, but it only has one noteworthy crossing.  We see lines through Denver, Albuquerque, and Nashville.  Eastern Seaboard is lit up with a complex collection of lines with Boston and Philadelphia particularly affected.  But most interesting of all is the crossing of lines a few hundred miles due east of San Francisco.  If I had to pick an “interesting” place to be (in the U.S.) on this full moon, I would pick San Francisco or more specifically that spot a bit east of there.  Interesting “things” may happen there.  (But, even more interesting, see Trondheim, below.)

Regarding the map of Europe, we first see a Vesta line through the UK, approximately on the border between Scotland and England.  Looks like things there may not be quite settled.  And, since Vesta (THE “warrior goddess”) is involved, and on the Ascendant, we may see the UK become involved (decisively!) in a military action.  What I am saying is that they may decide to strike.  And, if they do become so focused, they will pretty much obliterate the enemy, whoever that is.  (Ouch!)

Something equally troubling is brewing in Poland (I do not read the news there, so I do not know what), and we see this with the Mars line coming so close to Warsaw.  Lithuania is similarly activated, and we see Austria, Italy, and several other countries “picked up” by this Mars line.  Sun and Moon lines are near Berlin and prominently influence the Czech republic as well.  Not sure how Germany will handle this, but I bet that change is “afoot.”  I think that Germany CAN use this time/energy to make their financial position EVEN STRONGER.  (And, to be sure, they are very strong.)

Even more interesting is how the already powerful financial juggernaut of Norway has a Vesta/Venus crossing!  Wow!  If I could move to Norway and start a career there, then I would be tempted to do just that!  This is really the place to be, maybe even more than Germany.  Trondheim is VERY strong.  (Refer to Map.)  All of Scandinavia is treated quite well by this FM, but Norway is particularly strong (with Sweden very close)!

The complex of lines through Southeast Asia, including Cambodia and Viet Nam, is really too complex to interpret.  This may be the most highly activated area in the world currently, and the unrest could break out into some kind of war, possibly something similar to a civil war.  The instability is really difficult to describe.  Also worrisome is the triple line crossing at the northernmost edges of India and Pakistan.  Involving Chiron (old wounds), Neptune (deception and misunderstanding), and Mars (violence and war), “things” could become very dicey here as well.

The Jupiter / Vesta crossing in Eastern Iran indicates some kind of powerful opportunity there for someone who knows how to take advantage of it.  Here is a “zoomed out” map of SE Asia:

Australia is far quieter than these other parts of the world.  However, Sydney and Newcastle may be experiencing some odd kinds of problems with their food supplies this spring.  (This is spring in Australia, and that is probably a good excuse to go visit.)  Perth is also activated, but a Pallas Descendant line is likely to be beneficial: certain individuals (and maybe teams) in Perth has an opportunity to innovate solutions that may not be obvious to others.
