Venus in Taurus (Home) Sextile Neptune in PIsces (Home) 2020-03-22

This is a “feel good” day with a “feel good” aspect that can be critically important to creatives, notably poets & lyricists, photographers and videographers, and anything similar.  It tends to be rare, but if you screw up and miss the opportunity you MIGHT can get it again in 2021, 2022, 2023, or 2024.  After that, the window does not re-open until 2176.

A bit of warning is in order: Mars conjunct Pluto is also applying.  Care must be taken to avoid being susceptible to delusions produced by unscrupulous people (scammers and other criminals and agents of deceit).  Working alone, or only with trusted others, is advisable.

We suggest you seize the dreams and ideas that come to you today and grow and harvest them through the windows of opportunity that exist until 2024.  After that, either you have done it or you should give up.

For some odd reason, I keep hearing “Tubular Bells” as I draft this entry about this aspect:

Marysville School Shootings

The Marysville school shootings occurred the day after the New Moon and the day before the Mercury Direct Station, sandwiched between the two.  After some of the earlier activity (Rosetta and so forth), an event of this kind is not surprising.

What seems a bit odd, however, is the timing.  (Why sandwiched between the Eclipse and the Direct Station?  Midpoints of some kind?)

Here is the chart for when “the first 911 calls came in“:

As one can easily see, it is a bit of a messy chart.  But we expect that most of the key events have occurred once 911 calls start happening.  Consequently, a rectified chart seems in order.  (This situation seems commonplace in school shootings and certain other similar tragedies.)

Here is one rectified chart.  (Note that, now, a 12th house stellium results from setting the chart not quite an hour earlier.)

The 12th house often represents victims, and in this chart it is full.  (Compare this to the Boston Marathon Bombing chart.  There, the 7th has Neptune and Chiron (the house of “open enemies” has the two brothers), and the 8th house (the “death house,” and one of the three water houses, along with the 12th and the 4th) has a stellium.)  We also note that this chart (Saturn rising) has the 12th house cusp at 29 Scorpio (the most “fated” degree of that sign).

Leo / Aquarius are intercepted here, and Jupiter is within the interception.  Curiously, Jaylen Fryberg (the shooter) had been elected “Homecoming Prince.”  (Leo is associated with “royalty,” and intercepted signs or houses are (severely) distressed.)  Juno (trust and betrayal) is also nearby in Leo (and intercepted as well).  Both Jupiter and Juno are in the 9th house of schools.

We also see Chiron (the Wounded Healer) just past the 4th house cusp (typically “home” but also graves and “final resting place”), and Neptune approaching it.  (Again, compare this to the Boston Marathon Bombing chart.  Both charts have Chiron/Neptune at Angular positions.  Also, compare this chart to that of the Sandy Hook shootings.)

Since this is nearly an hour prior to the first 911 calls, we are guessing that the true “beginning” of the event was when the text messages were initially sent, and that the shooter began sending the text messages to “invite” the victims to “lunch.”  We also note that, on a somewhat larger scale, Saturn is moving into an opposition with Algol.

Still, this chart lacks the clarity of some other charts we have analyzed.  (We had a similar question regarding location on the much cleaner West, Texas Explosion chart.)  In many ways, this chart (and event) remain an enigma.

(We add, in parting, that Sun (peregrine, a thief) is quincunx (false hopes) Astraea (justice).

Translation: an injustice that will possibly never be resolved.)

Perhaps certain details will always remain a mystery.

Vernal Equinox 2013

Here is the chart for the Spring 2013 Equinox (Vernal Equinox 2013, The First Day of Spring, March 20, 2013):

A grand water trine is present in this chart, with the Moon in its home in Cancer, Saturn in Scorpio, and the following four planets in Pisces: Neptune, Mercury, Chiron, and Venus.  For the “first day of Spring,” we can safely say that water is emphasized.  (Let us hope it brings nuturing rains but not floods.)

Mars perfects a conjunction to Uranus soon after the Equinox, and both are applying to squares to Pluto in Capricorn.  Both are applying to sextile Jupiter, and Jupiter is apply to quincunx Pluto.  This is an “energetic” (and possibly violent) time.

We suspect that the events of this time are an important prelude to the Grand Water Trine of July 2013.  (Also, to compare the Vernal Equinox of 2012, click here.)

Full Moon of May 27, 2010

This Full Moon comes as a powerful punctuation mark in a rare series of powerful patterns.  Interpretations of these patterns vary widely.  Probably because the are so rare they are difficult for the astrological community to form a consensus.  Some claim they are disruptive (they have been), and others claim opportunity.  Whichever set of advice that you follow, these patterns will tend to produce clear winners and losers.  And, in some cases, they will produce lose-lose situations where nobody benefits.

To paraphrase what has been described as “an old Chinese curse,” we are living in “interesting times.”  (See, also, this link.)

In addition to the required Sun-Moon opposition, a number of other oppositions are occurring.  Jupiter and Uranus are “near” each other (most would say conjunct) and both oppose Saturn.  Uranus enters Aries about an hour and a half later.  Since Uranus has an 84 year orbit, it is clearly on the cusp, and even a slight error in calculation could mean it has entered Aries.  Regardless, this entry heralds (more) explosions, accidents, and revolutions (of all kinds, including but not limited to political).

Both Saturn and Uranus are also making stations.  This means they are almost “standing still” currently.  Saturn turns direct on Sunday, and Uranus turns direct on Monday.  Frankly, for the financial markets, this probably means “you ain’t seen nuttin’ yet.”  That is, an even more profound downturn could happen Monday or sometime early that week.

I used the “Wheel and Data” page from Solar Fire to produce this chart.

Although astrology charts address a number of issues, I am only going to address one particular issue here: certain women, tonight, will have to choose between one of two men.

One man is young, handsome, and dashing.  Well, I am not sure about handsome, and he might not be all that young.  But, for many the chances are good that he is an athlete, a police officer, or a member of the military.  He is the kind of guy who will defend your honor, and he will punch someone in the face to do it.

He could be a sure bet, but he does have some downsides.  He has a temper and might be violent.  Sometimes he rushes in where others fear to tread.  Based on his temper, he might hurt you.  To be sure, he will say he is sorry afterwards, and he will charm you.  But, this could easily become a very destructive pattern.

The other man is probably older.  He could be an authority figure, but probably not a police officer.  He would be more like an attorney or perhaps a judge.  He could be in the military, but he would be a seasoned leader, perhaps of the platoon.  He could easily be a banker or business owner.  He is stable, and he probably has money while everyone else does not during this recession.

But he has his dark side as well.  He may be developing problems: dental problems or baldness or other aspects of aging.  You will always be in competition with his career or his business, and sometimes the business will win.  You will feel like a neglected “business widow” or a “Trophy Wife” who must be perfect and greet the public to assure his position.  He probably will not hit you, but sometimes he can seem mean.  If you are a spender, then this is not the guy for you because he will be a penny pincher at heart.  Violate the family budget and it could mean real trouble.

If some of you (I am assuming the female readers and not the guys) are wondering if you will be satisfied with either one, let me assure you that you will not.  No matter how WELL things work out, you will always WONDER what would have happened if you picked the other guy.

If you pick the attorney / judge / corporate guru / Bill Gates (just kidding, Bill, we all know that you are, in fact, stunningly generous), then in your moments of boredom you will wonder what would have happened if you had picked “the exciting guy.”  And, if you pick the exciting guy, you will wonder “why is this happening again” as he gets in yet another fight, this time with the guy turning off the cable because the bill was not paid.  No matter which one you pick, you will always wonder.  YOUR KARMA (Ladies) will be to COMPLETELY let go of the other “path” (guy).  Failure to do so will bring you the worst possible result.

How bad can it get?  You’ll feel like a character in this Eric Roberts movie.

This brings up another topic.  Some of you ladies are cheating on your husband.  He is the “Saturn Character” (older, possibly balding or dental, maybe a manager or business man).  Well, this chart has maps (for beginners) to decode planets, signs, and aspects.  If you use the maps to decode the “Midpoints” section, you’ll find the following:  (1) The Moon is in a relationship with the midpoint of Mars and Saturn (and, specifically, each of those is quincunx, forming a “yod” or a DECISION THAT MUST BE MADE); AND (2) Uranus (accidents, surprises, and unexpected events) is in a relationship with Venus (women) and Jupiter (the big amplifier that makes everything BIG).

This latter aspect Uranus conjunct midpoint of Venus and Jupiter has several meanings.  Some people will win BIG tonight.  But, all three are in the sign of Pisces (revelations, self-undoing, and sometimes hidden enemies (that gossipy next door neighbor)).  So, if you are cheating on hubby, chances are good that will be revealed tonight.  AND, tonight he might have the energy to tell you to get out (if he is Saturn) or leave after he either beats you (Mars) or arrests you (also Mars).

Tonight can be very, very bad news for women who are cheats.  (Remember the Eric Roberts movie mentioned above?  It is based on a true story, and that woman went to prison, convicted of murder.)  Remember, also, this is a VERY old moon preceding a new moon (and that is about ENDINGS).

Guys: I am leaving it up to you to discern who you are in this drama.  Just realize that you may not be who you think you are.  The police chief could be Saturn, and the business man might be Mars after all.

(I am adding an annotated version, below, of the above chart to help the casual reader identify Moon, Mars, Saturn, and their relationships in this particular Yod.  I leave it as an exercise (Google helps) to identify Venus, Uranus, and Jupiter in their relationships.  A search like this might help.)
