2016-03-31 Mercury Conjunct Uranus (Kite + Hele + Mystic Rectangle)

This is the kind of day that will pass you by in the blink of an eye if you do not take a moment to capture the insights and images that present themselves.  Camera, video recorder, cell phone, notepad, and whatever can benefit you greatly when you see that one fleeting moment that you may never see again.  Today is all about insights, powerful insights, and the patterns here tell us that “somebody” can benefit greatly from them.

Surprises and accidents can happen as well.  Be on top of what can be learned from them.

The obvious source of the benefit is a “kite” pattern in play, and we show perfection of Mercury Conjunct Uranus (Aries) filtered for that pattern:

The key issue here is one of trust (Juno) v. “how we have always done things” (Vesta).  They can (and do) oppose each other, but they “might” can be integrated.  Moon and Jupiter (in grand trine with Vesta) complete the Kite, and we have a situation where lawyers and police officers may benefit from disgruntled wives, mothers, sisters, aunts, and similar.  (Do keep in mind that in these kinds of situations where someone “wins” usually someone else “loses.”  Sometimes this is called a “zero sum game.”)  Do keep in mind that, despite what Hollywood would brainwash us to believe on television, that not all lawyers and not all police officers are honest.  (And, if you are on the “wrong side” of this, standing to lose despite total innocence, you better get on top of it quickly.)

The kite COULD be the “end of things,” but a Hele and Mystic Rectangle are present.  The Hele tells us that “long term alliances” are likely to form today, and people will polarize (or continue to polarize) on one side of the issue.  Be certain you know who your friends are and who they are not.

The Pluto / Uranus Square (dissolving) form one part of the Hele (it seems to insert itself into almost everything!), and Jupiter (long distance travel, higher education, law and legal) and Astraea (law and legal) form the rest.  Looks like these alliances are likely to involve legal battles.

And THAT could be the “end of it,” but it is not because we ALSO have a Mystic Rectangle present at time of perfection of this aspect:

If you DO NOT LIKE the cards you have been dealt with the Kite (it seems a bit lopsided), you have a “way out” with the insights of the aspect combined with the Mystic Rectangle.  The Jupiter / Neptune opposition gives you a doorway to find certain insights and change the outcome.

But, in any case, capturing the thoughts and doing the work of the Magician to channel those thoughts in the ether (or, since the Physicists do not like that term, the “Higgs Field”) into manifestation.

Here is a list of Mercury / Uranus conjunctions (past and future):

2016-03 W14: Forecasts for Week 14 of 2016

Some of you are still feeling the Saturn Retrograde station (Friday, March 25th) from last week.  This tends to be true if you are heavily invested in a corporate setting or are involved with the financial services industry.

March 2016 (Mars Out)

2016-03 W14: Forecasts for Week 14 of 2016

Week 14 (W14)

Archive of Week 13 (W13)

Sunday March 27th

Moon turns void, and yesterday’s windows close.  If you did not achieve completion, then you must put it on hold or stick to routine activities only (possibly at risk even with those).  Today is not a “bad” day, but you will find it difficult to achieve lasting results today.  Use this as a “day of rest” from yesterday and stick to cleaning up and planning for forward action on another day.

Monday March 28th

Moon enters Sagittarius at 1:47 AM CDT.  Venus perfects a semisextile aspect to Uranus a few hours later, giving the day an “unusual” cast but likely not to strange or disruptive.  Do expect a few minor disruptions but nothing you cannot move past if you focus yourself.

The Square Key in effect since March 16th clears out tomorrow, and you will have learned the lessons you needed to learn in this period or not.  In any case, you will begin to move ahead to a new project (or projects) after the next New Moon (about a week away in April).  You are currently entering a “clearing out” and preparation period, and today is an important part of that.

A series of Rosetta patterns began yesterday, continues today, and will continue until late July.  In fact, Rosettas cover most of the remainder of the year, through December 15th. You  will form alliances now, but they can be temporary and allies can later betray and oppose you.  Choose your friends carefully at this time and disclose as little as you can.

Ceres opposite Hygeia brings issues of food (or prosperity) and health to the forefront.  Some people may revisit their “New Years Resolutions” and (wisely) restart a better version of their plans or improve them into something better.  Others may encounter financial problems over healthcare bills.

Tuesday March 29th

From a lunar point of view, this is a very busy day with Moon conjunct retrograde Saturn (both in Sagittarius) and square Jupiter (Virgo). Mercury (Aries) quincunx Jupiter (Virgo) brings about miscommunication and miscommunication and this feels a bit like Mercury Retrograde.  Mercury Station Retrograde is April 28th, and we will encounter the entering “shadow” beginning April 15th.  This is the first of three Mercury aspects over a three day period.

Juno quadrinovile Ceres means we receive an important lesson, insight or skill involving who we trust and issues of food or prosperity.  Pay attention, this might be an important turning point.

Moon turns void at 8:56 AM CDT.

Wednesday March 30th

Moon remains void until 12:45 PM CDT when it enters Capricorn and slows down certain activities, sometimes requiring a second or third check to make certain things are “right.”

Venus conjoins Chiron in the early hours, and if you have not dealt with issues involving finances, personal values, healthcare, and possibly education, then you will today.  Whatever it is, you cannot ignore it any longer.  Mercury conjoins Uranus today, the second of three in a row, and that combinations FORCES certain issues to the surface.

Use the morning to clear out and plan, and then “bite the bullet” do what must be done during the afternoon and evening.  Take care of it today, finish it today, if you can, because something even larger is coming.

Thursday March 31st

Moon (Capricorn) squares Sun (Aries) and fourth quarter begins.  The next week of cleaning out begins in earnest although some acquisitions can be had since sellers will tend to have an advantage over buyers.  Try to stick with practical purchases and the Moon will favor you.

Mercury conjoins Uranus and brings surprises and possibly powerful insights.  This is a great day for writers and communicators and similar creatives that work with words and messages.  However, transportation “surprises” (problems) can occur also.

Moon trines Jupiter (Virgo) and joins Pluto (Capricorn) in the latter part of the day (which tends to mostly feel benevolent if sometimes a bit too serious).

April 2016 (Mars Out)

Friday April 1st

The early hours are tough for most people who are up at that time, but they can also bring inspirations to writers and other communicators.  Harness the window if you can; it is fleeting.  Moon turns void at 11:39 AM CDT and remains void for most of the reset of the day (until Moon enters 8:37 PM CDT).

Today is “April Fools Day” for those who celebrate such thing, so watch out for Uranian / Plutonian “holiday” surprises.

We note five (5!) Mercury aspects, and noting that Mercury rules tricksters, jesters, thieves, and liars, do be extra careful regarding these kinds of surprises.  But, again, writers and communicators will likely thrive today.  Today is an unusually strong window for writers and communicators (maybe the strongest this year).

Mars Novile Pluto brings important lessons (especially for police and intelligent agents and any similar Martians), and Mercury Novile Neptune brings the same “poets, priests, and politicians” (who, as Sting pointed out, “have words to thank for their positions“).

Saturn BiQuintile Vesta insists that we take a look at our traditions and “why we do them.”  Some things need to stay and others need to go.  By today you should have some idea what those are and should act on them accordingly.

Saturday April 2nd

Days this benevolent are rare and hard to find.  Today is a good day to “take off” not because you need to hide or clean house but just because it is likely to be “fun” for most people.  We need those kinds of days every so often.

If you must work, you will tend to “get things done” and may have some insights.

A late evening glitch (Moon Quincunx Jupiter) may put a pamper on partygoing, but most people can move beyond it and find some kind of alternative fun.

One warning: Chiron opposes Hygeia, and this puncuates that you MUST take care of certain health issues.  Do it.

Week 15 (W15)

Sunday April 3rd

The advantages of Friday and Saturday continue today until the Moon moves void (v/c) at 6:16 PM CDT.  Get done what you can today, and then rest this evening.

Here is a list of New Moons for 2016, and here is a list of Full Moons for 2016.

2016-03 W11: Forecasts for Week 11 of 2016

March 8th is the next lunation, and it is a Solar Eclipse (New Moon).  Many states (including Texas) switch to Daylight Savings Time on the Sunday that follows.

March 2016 (Mars Out)

Week 11 (W11)

Sunday March 6th

After last week, you may want a break but Sun square Saturn will not give you one. Duty calls in some form, maybe business or family, and you must attend to it. Much chatter will emerge, and some of it may be continued disputes form the recent Mercury / Mars aspect (and change of signs). Lessons can be learned and skills can be developed. Pay attention. Get things done. And, when you get a chance, give yourself a break and get some rest anyway.

That would be enough, but Jupiter quincunx Uranus perfects today.  You have felt it building for the last few weeks in the form of a sense of false hopes or miscommunications between issues of bookkeeping or accounting, healthcare (especially healthcare professionals) and issues involving a battle between order and chaos on one hand, and issues of energy, the ability to accomplish tasks, possibly anger or violence, and leadership.  It is all very complex, and you will have to identify how it applies in your particular situation.  But, some time this weekend through the upcoming eclipse you will likely see things “come to a head” in some way.  Change is afoot, and “things” will be different after Tuesday.

Monday March 7th

Mercury semisquares Uranus and any angry words we have spoken in the last few days resurface and may be amplified.  For some people, they will be broadcast and re-broadcast.  Be careful what you say.  Vesta (traditions and “doing things the way we have always done them” is void until 6:50 PM CST and this further contributes to “things” going awry and unintended consequences.  You may have some good ideas (Mars quintile Jupiter), but consider writing them down and saving them for another day.  A Solar Eclipse perfects tomrrow and the Moon is very “old.”  That makes this a better time to “clean house” (literally or figuratively) and reflect rather than take action on new projects.

Tuesday March 8th

Today is the day of the Solar Eclipse, a very special type of New Moon.  Sun and Moon join together and each oppose Jupiter (with each individual opposition perfecting at slightly different times on this same day in most time zones).  Saturn (Sagittarius) squares this combination to form a T-Square.  Virgo / Pisces (and Sagittarius) issues are at the forefront as we begin a new cycle in more than one way.  The New Moon governs the 28 day lunar cycle, but the messages of the eclipse apply at least until the other eclipses later this year.  Ceres (prosperity in general and food in particular) BiQuintiles Black Moon Lilith (a point governing taboo issues in general and taboo sexual practices in particular).  This is a difficult aspect to interpret, and we suggest you identify how it applies in your individual situation.  Pallas BiQuintiles the North Node (another point, associated with karma), and we may have some important ideas about how to handle difficult “karmic” situations in our life.

Wednesday March 9th

Whether perfection of the eclipse fell in on yesterday in your time zone or on today, you will still “feel” it.  As we move further past the eclipse, we can start thinking about taking action on some of the ideas that we have noted on previous days.

BUT, the Moon remains v/c (void of course) from yesterday until 1:39 PM CST. That means we have to wait until some time after 1:39 PM CST to make our desired launch today. Keep in mind that the further you can move away from a “sign change boundary” the better (unless you have Venus or Jupiter near the cusp of Aries). That means later in the day as much as possible.

With the North Node semisextile Black Moon Lilith (both points in space, so to some degree this reflects the Earth’s alignment at this time), we have taboo topics (especially taboo sexual topics) bubbling to the surface and may face some “hard karma” in dealing with them. Today is anything but ordinary for many (if not most) people. Venus Novile Pluto says we can learn a lesson here (both can, and do, deal with Love (Venus) and Sex (Pluto)). Venus is also TriSeptile the North Node, and this brings the idea that doing a totally selfless (best if anonymous, also) act to help someone else might relieve at least a little of our “hard karma.”

Thursday March 10th

This is a busy day with a number of higher order aspects perfecting.  We note Sun conjunct Chiron today.  This is an annual aspect that brings health, education, mentoring, and “the Wounded Healer” to the forefront.  Venus quadrinovile Jupiter tells us that we can learn an important lesson or skill that will serve us well in the future.  Keep in mind that this might seem like something trivial because Quadrinoviles often bring us skills that are useful in thefuture (but not yet currently).  Mercury novile Uranus may bring us one or more additional lessons.  Venus quintile Saturn may also bring us a smart, but practical, idea.  Septiles suggest that we help someone less fortunate than ourselves.

Friday March 11th

Today you may feel an urgent need to get things done, but that may not go so well unless you are working writing poetry or song lyrics, doing a photoshoot, or making a video or movie. Scammers and thieves will tend to be more active today, so make certain you do not believe anything a stranger says or buy what they try to sell you. Even family members may be suspect. Stick to the poetry or photography.

Saturday March 12th

Venus enters Pisces today.  This is great for creatives, one of the best possible situations, but not so good for finances.  Similar to yesterday (except that it is with us for a few weeks), this empowers scammers.  Put off major purchases for a few weeks if at all possible.  Certainly avoid speculative endeavors.  As mentioned before, the best use of these few weeks is in developing your abilities with writing poetry or lyrics, photography, or videography.  Other arts may flourish also, but the ones explicitly mentioned work best.

February 25th, 26th, and 27th of 2016

February 2016

Week 9 (W09)

Thursday February 25th

An early morning Mercury Sextile Saturn aspect continues to exert influence, and we need to pay attention to details today.  Morning quincunx aspects of the Moon frustrate many of us living in the Western Hemisphere, and “getting things done” can be difficult or maybe even impossible.  In the afternoon we can finally move forward and accomplish a few tasks that the morning would not let us do.

Friday February 26th

The Moon is very active today but void soon after 5 AM CST.  Getting things done can be difficult, and re-dos may be necessary.  But Mercury (Aquarius) sextile Uranus (Aries) brings brilliant ideas to writers, speakers, actors, spokespersons, electrical engineers, computer programmers, and inventors of any kind.  Even if you cannot act on these ideas, write them down in as much detail as possible.  They will be useful to you later.

Saturday February 27th

Moon enters Scorpio a little after 6 AM CST, but Mercury quincunx Jupiter tends to ruin the day for many.  Overspending on something overhyped that does not worked as intended leaves a bitter taste in our mouth for many.  As the old say goes, “if sounds too good to be true, it probably isn’t.”  Defer major purchases to another day, and do not pin any major expectations on people to actually live up to their word today.  Alternatively: do not promise anything to anyone no matter how simple and easy it “seems” it would be to do.

Thursday February 18th

As you know from yesterdays interpretations, the Sun is void.  If you need to “wrap things up,” particularly Aquarian type things (computers, internet, social groups, and so forth), then do so, but do know that a “re-do” may be in the works.  Aquarian anything tends to bring surprises, so you may never “see” the basis of this re-do.  When it does arrive, it will force a shift in your consciousness (sometimes a painful one for earth signs such as Capricorn, Taurus, and Virgo).

Mercury sesquiquadrate Jupiter does mean that you have the energy to push forward, and in some cases you should do so even knowing that a re-do might be needed.  Chiron is novile Pallas, so we learn a powerful skill involving the question of how to get things done (Pallas, the warrior goddes of strategy) and healthcare or education (or both).

Today is very Mercurial.  Mercury septile Saturn (attention to detail and hard work can help us release some “Karma” by helping others), Mercury undecile Neptune (another “helping others” aspect), Mercury quintile Uranus (brilliant ideas, especially regarding issues involving communications and transportation; very good for writers and speakers), and Mercury sesquiquadrate Jupiter (a sort of amplifier of anything, and it is usually benevolent); all four of these aspects are present today.  Again, today is Mercurial.  (That also means WATCH YOUR TEMPER.  And, given Mr. Trump’s Mercurial nature (he is a solar Gemini), we would not be surprised to hear an important announcement from him on this date.)

Arguably we have a (VERY loose) yod, Moon to Mercury / Saturn, and you may have to make a significant decision during the Sun void period.  Later, after the Yod (and decision), Moon (Cancer) forms a T-Square with Uranus (Aries) and Pluto (Capricorn).  This pushes us to act, even though it may be against our better judgment during the Solar void.  In a sense, this is very much a “free will” time in which you will be completely responsible for the consequences of your decisions and following actions.

Yesterday:

Wednesday February 17th

This is another day where we feel an urgent push to “get things done.”  Venus and Mercury have both entered Aquarius, and Mercury semi-squares Chiron while Venus semi-squares Saturn.

Moon (Gemini) trines Sun (Aquarius) and goes void at 10:37 AM CST.  These are typically benevolent aspects (Moon/Sun trines) but something may require a re-do some time after the Moon enters Cancer at 1:24 PM CST.  Quincunxes soon follow (Moon to Mercury, Venus), and achievement of goals becomes even more difficult than during the void in the morning.  This is a good time to slip out of the office and go shopping for minor office supplies if you are compelled to “do something” this afternoon.

The Sun will soon move to Pisces (February 18th @ 11:33 PM CST), so some projects may have to wait until after that (February 19th or later).  This is not a “bad” day, but at times “things” might be “irritating.”  A subtle high order aspect between Vesta and Chiron may bring into questions issues about traditions (“how we have always done it”) and healthcare or education (or both).  A similar high order aspect between Pallas and Astraea may bring legal issues to the surface.

Sunday brings the second part of the T-Square we previously mentioned: Mercury square Uranus.  We have visited this aspect several times since December, and we are probably tired of it by now.  With Moon in Scorpio, we may be up for one last fight, but is it worth it?  Only you can decide.

For better or worse, this aspect will bring insights.  Creatives, particularly writers and computer programmers (who do creative programming) will prosper.  Others will find themselves suddenly thinking “out of the box” and wondering “why was I in ‘the box’ to begin with.”  It is definitely a day of surprises for at least some people, particularly Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn.  You almost certainly felt this on Saturday (and maybe Friday), and you will almost certainly feel it on Monday (and maybe Tuesday).

For some people, this is the kind of Sunday where, on Monday, you pretend to leave for work but go somewhere entirely different and hide for a day or week or year.  (Maybe you “go out for cigarettes and never come back,” as was popular in the 1950’s and 1960’s.)  Do keep in mind that “this too shall pass,” and “things” will become different.  (Not “better” or “worse” but “different.”)  But, again, this will be a critically important turning point for some people who choose to move into new circumstances.  A fair number of you will do just that.

While we are technically still in the “retrograde shadow,” in many ways moving past this final aspect of the sequence ends this particular sequence of dramas and opens the door for us to (finally!) move in new directions.  But, in January of 2017 (when Mercury conunct Pluto perfects again), we may want to revisit our thoughts, notes, and decisions at this time.

Mercury Trine Uranus 2015-12-01 (Fire Trine continues)

The Grand Fire Trine from yesterday continues as Mercury conjunct Uranus perfects on this day, but it is dissolving as the Moon moves into the latter part of Leo.  Seize the opportunity or not.  Multiple squares form several T-Squares, so plenty of energy is present to get things done (like yesterday) as long as conflicts are either avoided or somehow harnessed.  A longer term Yod continues to be present, presenting a critical decision.

Here is the chart, filtered for the Grand Fire Trine:

And, here is the chart, now filtered for the Yod:

We now present the same chart, filtered for the T-Squares:

Avoid conflict (or integrate it favorably into your process), and you will have another day where you can accomplish much.  Issues involving transportation and communication are particularly favored.

Mercury does also square Chiron (we are living in a time where favorable and unfavorable aspects always seem to occur together), and, therefore, health and healthcare (or educational) issues may rise to the forefront.  Just know that the rest of the energies are with you, and knock this out.

About 9 PM CST (10 p EST / 7 p PST) the Moon goes void.  Wrap up everything by then and take the evening off (or clean house).

Mercury Opposite Chiron 2015-08-20 (Updated Aug 19th)

We have been recommending action during this period, but on this day you may need to mend fences.  Mercury opposes Chiron and quincunxes Uranus.  A subtle but very powerful Learning Triangle (we are unsure whether or not it is properly a “Huber” Learning Triangle) will color the day (and affect the few days before and after the perfection of the pattern).

Here is the chart, filtered for Mercury aspects:

Note that Chiron is precisely in aspect with Uranus (Semi-Sextile) in addition to both in aspect to Mercury.  Note that Moon enters Scorpio almost exactly at time of perfection of Mercury Opposite Chiron.  This is not without impact as the Moon (briefly) forms a 5th harmonic pattern (one we will call a “Quintile Triangle”) with Pluto in Qunitle aspect on one leg (of the triangle) and Hygeia in Qunitile aspect on the other leg (of the triangle).  Both Pluto and Hygeia are biquintile to each other.

Here is the chart, filtered for 5th Harmonic Aspects:

We think that powerful breakthroughs in health care (and possibly health insurance) can be made on 8/19 and 8/20.  However, this is a particularly narrow window that will not likely extend to any other days.

We note that Bill Clinton’s Solar Return is near this time (0158 CDT on August 19th), and we would not be entirely surprised to see him emerge into the public spotlight again regarding these issues.

Mercury Trine Uranus 2015-08-02 (Yod)

First of all, we would like to note that the Thor’s Hammer Key, Hele, and Grand Fire Trine from yesterday are still in effect.  See that analysis and recognize that most of it still applies on this day.

That said, Mercury perfects a trine to a stationary Uranus on a day when Saturn in Scorpio stations direct.  (The continuing mutual reception of Saturn and Pluto at this time is worth recognizing.  That will end soon, in September.)  It is a great day for creatives (writers, poets, photographers, dancers, and so forth) but it may also be filled with miscommunications and glitches.  The insight of genius can transform these “glitches” into a higher art form sometimes.

We have filtered the chart to highlight the Yod present.  Likely an important decision faces you on this tricky day filled with glitches, starts, and stops.

Mercury is quincunx Chiron, also.  This means sensitive issues may surface, and miscommunications may lead to hurt feelings.  Watch for that.  (But, if you cannot avoid it, then turn it into art.)

2015-07-18 Mercury Square Uranus

Mercury (Cancer) squares Uranus (Aries) on a day when the Moon first conjoins Jupiter in Leo (with the Moon in mutual reception with the Cancerian Sun) and then both Moon and Venus change signs before the Moon conjoins Venus.  This starts as a mostly “feel good” day but ends with a brainstorm.  Watch out for arguments this evening.  The time is better spent writing down what might be some rather amazing ideas that come to you or, better yet, doing major work on the novel or short story you have been working on for sometime.  (You might yet finish it!)

Here is the chart, filtered for squares:
