Saturday February 20th 2016 Week 08 (W08)
This is an energetic Saturday, and you can “get things done.” And, you will feel an urge to do just that. Issues involving health, education, finances, and taxes come to the forefront. For some people these will be issues with the police or intelligence agencies. Take advantage of your sense of urgency and complete what you can.
Moon (Leo) opposes Mercury, Venus (Aquarius) followed by a quincunx to Neptune (Pisces) and a trine to Saturn (Sagittarius). Of all the days this week, this might be the best one for “getting things done,” and oddly it favors fire and air signs (though the Sun is in Pisces and applying, ultimately, to Neptune and Chiron). If we zoom out and look at Saturday and Sunday together, we could argue that a (very loose) Fire Grand Trine is present.
Venus (Aquarius) is semi-square Chiron (Pisces), and Sun (Pisces) is semi-square Pluto (Capricorn). This creates quite a push to “get things done,” and issues of healthcare (or education) and finances (Capricorn) are part of the mix. Mercury (Aquarius) semi-sextiles Neptune (Pisces). Fire and air signs may be favored, but Pisces and Capricorn clearly have a voice today. And Mercury / Neptune tells us that (some) people will tend to wax poetic (if not grandiose). No “Mars Out” higher order aspects are in play, so look to the earlier aspects this week as well as the Vesta Quadrinovile Juno aspect tomorrow (a skill involving exploring “how we have always done it” and trust & fidelity issues).
Tomorrow remains very similar, and these two days should be considered together for some important project. (Possibly a home improvement project, but certainly an important one.)

Thursday February 18th 2016
As you know from yesterdays interpretations, the Sun is void. If you need to “wrap things up,” particularly Aquarian type things (computers, internet, social groups, and so forth), then do so, but do know that a “re-do” may be in the works. Aquarian anything tends to bring surprises, so you may never “see” the basis of this re-do. When it does arrive, it will force a shift in your consciousness (sometimes a painful one for earth signs such as Capricorn, Taurus, and Virgo).
Mercury sesquiquadrate Jupiter does mean that you have the energy to push forward, and in some cases you should do so even knowing that a re-do might be needed. Chiron is novile Pallas, so we learn a powerful skill involving the question of how to get things done (Pallas, the warrior goddes of strategy) and healthcare or education (or both).
Today is very Mercurial. Mercury septile Saturn (attention to detail and hard work can help us release some “Karma” by helping others), Mercury undecile Neptune (another “helping others” aspect), Mercury quintile Uranus (brilliant ideas, especially regarding issues involving communications and transportation; very good for writers and speakers), and Mercury sesquiquadrate Jupiter (a sort of amplifier of anything, and it is usually benevolent); all four of these aspects are present today. Again, today is Mercurial. (That also means WATCH YOUR TEMPER. And, given Mr. Trump’s Mercurial nature (he is a solar Gemini), we would not be surprised to hear an important announcement from him on this date.)
Arguably we have a (VERY loose) yod, Moon to Mercury / Saturn, and you may have to make a significant decision during the Sun void period. Later, after the Yod (and decision), Moon (Cancer) forms a T-Square with Uranus (Aries) and Pluto (Capricorn). This pushes us to act, even though it may be against our better judgment during the Solar void. In a sense, this is very much a “free will” time in which you will be completely responsible for the consequences of your decisions and following actions.
Yesterday:
This is another day where we feel an urgent push to “get things done.” Venus and Mercury have both entered Aquarius, and Mercury semi-squares Chiron while Venus semi-squares Saturn.
Moon (Gemini) trines Sun (Aquarius) and goes void at 10:37 AM CST. These are typically benevolent aspects (Moon/Sun trines) but something may require a re-do some time after the Moon enters Cancer at 1:24 PM CST. Quincunxes soon follow (Moon to Mercury, Venus), and achievement of goals becomes even more difficult than during the void in the morning. This is a good time to slip out of the office and go shopping for minor office supplies if you are compelled to “do something” this afternoon.
The Sun will soon move to Pisces (February 18th @ 11:33 PM CST), so some projects may have to wait until after that (February 19th or later). This is not a “bad” day, but at times “things” might be “irritating.” A subtle high order aspect between Vesta and Chiron may bring into questions issues about traditions (“how we have always done it”) and healthcare or education (or both). A similar high order aspect between Pallas and Astraea may bring legal issues to the surface.

Mercury Sextile Neptune 2015-12-14 (Thor’s Hammer)
Perfection of this aspect co-occurs with Sun Square Jupiter (a few hours earlier on this date). We will not repeat the analysis given for Sun / Jupiter since the same applies here.
Here is the chart for perfection of Mercury Sextile Neptune, filtered for the Thor’s Hammer:

We note that the current Cardinal T-Square (Mars / Pluto / Uranus) is angular for our current location (in Plano TX).
A good tool to use if you do advanced planning and retrospective review is FutureMe. You can send a link to this page and your notes for today to a few days before the time when this aspect perfects again. (April of 2016 and December of 2016 would be good candidates for that. 2016 and Jan 2017 are very active for this aspect.) For those interested in advanced planning and retrospective review, we provide a list of these aspects from 2000 to 2030:

Mercury conjunct Saturn (with a Yod and more) 2015-11-24

Mercury conjunct Saturn (with a Yod and more) 2015-11-24
Late in the U.S. on November 24th (and in the early morning hours for the EU/UK), Mercury conjunct Saturn perfects. We note that Saturn and Neptune are so close to perfecting their first square, that Mercury square Neptune perfects only two hours later (after midnight in all time zones except PST). Therefore, both should be discussed. And, a Yod is in play, the Moon is at almost exactly 170 degrees from the Sun (with the Full Moon of November 2015 perfecting the next day), and a number of other patterns are perfecting and dissolving on the 24th and 25th. We show this chart filtered for the Yod in play at time of perfection:
We note that the apex of the Yod is found at the South Node, associated both with old, well worn habit patterns and “taking the easy way out.” It is “doing things the way we have always done them,” and it is a bit like Vesta. However, the South Node is also about a failure to make progress. One leg of this yod ties to Juno (wives, sisters, and women in similar roles as well as issues of trust and betrayal) and the other leg of the yod ties to Astraea (law and the legal system). If you have been treacherous with someone, are you going to make amends with them, or are you going to do battle with them in the legal system? Please do note that you will have a strong tendency to do whatever it is you have done in the past, and doing something different may prove difficult despite the idea, “in theory,” that you have a choice.
That said, the actual aspect, Mercury conjunct Saturn, is rather famous for being able to complete detailed and meticulous work. But Saturn is near perfection of a square to Neptune, and this means that Mercury square Neptune perfects within a few hours. In a natal chart, Mercury square Neptune tends to be associated with alcohol and drug abuse. It can be associated with lying and deception. But it is also a superb aspect for writing poetry, lyrics, possibly fiction, photography, and videography. If you find it difficult to sleep tonight, maybe you should review the detail work you wisely did before perfection of this aspect and look for the poetry in it. Failing that, simply write some poetry or maybe perform some creative photography. This is a good window and a good use for such things. Moving beyond the messiness of Mars quincunx Neptune earlier in the day is a worthwhile endeavor, especially if you have learned the lesson you needed to learn and can move forward.
Keep in mind that the Full Moon perfects tomorrow, and if you possibly can you want to bring to a close the important steps in any project you are trying to grow at this time.

Mercury Quincunx Neptune 2015-10-18
After what was probably a fun weekend, one where you may have “overdone it,” and one you are likely to remember, we encounter Mercury Quincunx Neptune. We suddenly feel as if Mercury Retrograde has returned as communications become muddled. Give it a day or two to clear up.
Here is the chart:

So, take a “day off” on this day that should be a “day off” anyway. Cool it. And if you did have that hot romance over the weekend, give it some time for things to cool off. No need to be rude, but everyone needs a pause. This is a good day for one.

Mercury Opposite Neptune 2015-08-12
Mercury opposes Neptune on August 12, 2015. This is reputed to be a very good time for writing poetry, playing music, and making photographs and video. It is likely a very bad time for drafting or signing contracts are making lasting commitments.
This particular Merc Opp Neptune contains a Rosetta, a pattern we believe is evident of short lived alliances and sometimes treachery. The Rosetta itself contains Mercury (communications and transportation) along with Pallas (sudden insights, often of a military nature), Vesta (traditions), and Astraea (law and the legal system). This is a particularly bad night for parties that involve alcohol or other drugs. (Do not be surprised if the police show and make arrests.)
Here is the chart, filtered for the Rosetta:

Again, we encourage you to use this as a period for introspection and “housecleaning” and wait to launch major projects until after the upcoming New Moon. You might compare your experiences on this day to those of Mercury Square Neptune in June earlier this year.
Just keep in mind that appearances can be deceiving at this time. Maybe best to just relax and enjoy the party.

2015-07-27 Mercury Quincunx Neptune
We will likely update this post a bit over the next day or so. A number of patterns are in play, but we present the Mercury Quincunx chart filtered for the Yod that is in play:
The issue is about “feast and famine” (Ceres) and it could be literal (i.e. “should I go on a diet” or “should I start a new exercise program” or “I really want that piece of cake”) or more metaphorical (“what are the financial markets doing” or “should I start a new job or go back to school”). The choices are Venus Retrograde (we are having to take a hard look at our values, and we may choose the famine option to preserve those values) or Astraea (Justice). The problem is that this is associated with the perfection of Mercury Quincunx Neptune, and NO OTHER ASPECT introduces confusion into communications more than this one!
That means you need to decide, but you do not have all the facts, and you are not sure what is going on. At best, it is a messy situation that you may need to revisit when Mercury turns retrograde in September.
Mercury Square Neptune and Mars Quincunx Saturn 2015-06-23

The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly. That should be the title for today.
The Good: if you are a poet or photographer or in some similar field, today may present some of your greatest inspirations. Gentle Creatives are favored today.
The Bad: if you are a police officer, drunk, or drug addict, your misconduct today will not be tolerated. “Just doing my job” and similar excuses just will not work anymore. No choke holds that kill mentally ill homeless guys, no shooting of 12 year olds who have toy guns, none of that will play any more. Just don’t do it!
The Ugly: some people will ignore the previous warning, and they will learn very hard lessons. If you are a drunk or drug addict, stay home. Don’t drive. Don’t go out. Don’t get in bar fights. STAY HOME! And if the police bust down your door anyway, do not give them ANY excuse to mistreat you. If you are law enforcement, well, we already warned you ONCE! Weren’t you listening? (If not, then you will get what you deserve!) To everyone: BE NICE!
If you are an alcoholic / drug addicted police officer, then your dirty little secret may be about to become public knowledge. (This includes steroid abuse.) It is an especially bad day for you.
Anyone with a camera tends to be favored today. (But, still, be careful!)
The poetry, alcohol, drug, photography, video, art, whatever thing flows from yet another Mercury Square Neptune, the third of a series tied to the recent Mercury Retrograde that completed. And Mars Quincunx Saturn occurs less than a half hour later, making a mess of anything involving violence and authority. (Military and intelligence agencies will also likely be affected.)
We are basing the following analysis on the Mercury Square Neptune (exact) chart.
The Yod (“Finger of God”) in play yesterday is still in full force today. WE HAVE A CHOICE in how we act today!
Here is the chart:
For those not willing to listen to what the universe is telling us, some HARD lessons are coming. The multiple Huber “Learning” Trinagles tell us this:
HLT 1’s:
Note that the above version of the chart has TWO HLT 1’s. Here are the HLT 2’s:
With this many Huber Learning Triangles in play, the message is clear: some people will be learning “lessons” today. (It does not have to be YOU!)
Let us note that a sliver of an opportunity may present itself (mostly favoring fire signs and maybe air signs) with a so-called “almost” kite:

Fleeting and unstable alliances may present themselves, as indicated by a Rosetta. (Just know that these “fair weather friends” will not stick with you for long.)

Write poetry, take pictures, and be nice!
Full Moon, October 2012

Almost let this lunation slip by me. Busy again.
That said, the best analysis I have seen is by Lance Ferguson of Skywatch Astrology. I adopt his analysis as my own.
A confusing Mercury Neptune square kicks on the caution lights Monday morning. Exact at 12:41 PM, this marker promotes idealism ahead of reality, and in this mindset some folks will make some really bad decisions Monday morning. Errors, misunderstandings and deceitful communications are all more likely today.
In short, we have Mercury Square Neptune which is messy all by itself, but when compounded upon Moon (Taurus) opposite Sun (Scorpio), the whole thing is a big mess for most people. I will add, though, that this is a good time for poets and writers. Also very good for photographers and movie makers. Some incredible images will be available for capture on this date! For the rest of us, traffic jams and the similar. Here is the chart:
We also note a few other “interesting” squares applying, particularly Venus (Libra) Square Pluto (Capricorn). Potential for another little financial shakeup by the end of this week or early next week?
The hour is late so only one map this time: U.S. We see a HIGHLY activated West Coast, particularly at San Francisco and (even more so) Vancouver. I am wondering if we will feel some earthquake activity on this particular full moon. Here’s the map:
