This is an annual event, and it would be best spent as a day off. In this case, it follows on the heels on a Full Moon. (If you have not read the analysis of that FM, please do so now. It is relevant to what is going on with this particular Sun/Neptune aspect.)
The Moon is waning now, and if your project from last week was mis-spent time and energy, today is the day to cut your losses, sell the spare parts at a garage sale, and move on to regroup and plan to do something different. (But, if you are a creative, the possibility exists that you MIGHT get your best ideas today. Again, work from home if possible.)

Sun Sesquiquadrate Uranus perfects Friday, August 28, 2015. This is a very GOOD energy for “getting things done” (particularly if you “bit off more than you could chew when you took on that new project Wednesday with Sun Conjunct Jupiter), but it can be very bad if you act impulsively and do something rash and stupid because your temper overcame your better sense. (Lawyers and boxers might do well under this pattern, but most everyone else tends to suffer.)

We see a triangular pattern (a quintile trine?) connecting Mercury (communication and transportation), Astraea (law and legal system), and Pallas (innovation, particularly military innovation). This can be a day to make important breakthroughs in these areas.
A Hard Rectangle occurs this day, also, heightening the intensity of the day.

This happens once a year, every year. It is USUALLY a window of good fortune, and that is what we expect on this date. However, a yod occurs earlier in the day, and your ability to take advantage of this may depend on the decision you made earlier, before this aspect perfects. Furthermore, Jupiter is in “detriment” in Virgo and not able to perform as strongly as usual.
We also note the presence of substantial 5th order harmonics (quintiles and biquintiles), and we should the chart filtered for those:

We note that the pattern we are describing has Mercury (communications and transportation) at the center (or apex) with Astraea (law and the legal system) on one side (or leg) and Pallas (innovation, particularly military innovation) on the other side (or leg). Will be interesting to see what enters the news at this time. Don’t be surprised to see that it involves a controversial technology that, once again, may be a further threat to our collective privacy.
On a personal level, this can be a very good time to launch a new project, particularly if you can finish it before the Full Moon perfects (August 29th) or, failing that, before the next New Moon (the Solar Eclipse of September 13th).
Square Keys of August 2015

We present these together even thought the August 31st Square Key occurs after the Full Moon of August 29th (and therefore may represent a different set of “lessons”). (We say “lessons” because, as we have said before, Square Keys are really interlaced Huber Learning Triangles.)
We present them in reverse order, starting with the Square Key of August 31st:

This Square Key also requires use of the Node, specifically the South Node. It involves a lesson that results from “taking the easy way out” or, alternatively “doing things the way we have always done them.” The crowed that tends to say “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” will feel this lesson extra strongly. They may even be so foolish as to say, after experiencing the lesson, “it ain’t broke.” But, it is.
Chances are good that the lessons of August 31st will involve police or intelligence agencies (or death or taxes, Pluto) along with innovations, particularly military innovations (Pallas). With the school year starting, this could easily involve police, particularly undercover police operations, in educational settings.

Since this Square Key (SK) also involves the South Node, it may be setting the stage for the SK of August 31st We note that it involves the Sun, Moon, and Saturn as well as the South Node. The “lights” (Sun and Moon) tell is that this involves basic issues that affect everyone, and Saturn is about “hard work” and focusing on “the basics.” Saturn can also be academics and testing in particularly. Some say that Saturn and the South Node are different faces of the same thing (often “doing things the way we have always done them”). Again, we think that this could be related to issues that specifically address the beginning of the school year.
Finally, we present the Square Key of August 23, the day the Sun touches Regulus:

Moon, Astraea, Chiron, and Uranus (Prometheus) are involved. This is likely a different set of issues from the other two SK’s. The key issues here involve sensitive personal issues (the Moon), law and the legal system (Astraea), health, healing, and teaching (Chiron), and surprises, insights, and innovations (Uranus). This sets the stage for some people having critically important lessons (and insights) that will empower (Regulus) them to rebel (Uranus) later against those who argue for “doing things the way we have always done them.”

This chart incorporates an existing T-Square that was part of a Grand Cross on the previous day. In addition to a powerful Sun/Saturn square, we note that Vesta issues (traditions, and sometimes kinky sex) are particularly important in this set of patterns in this particular Solar Return. We note, also, a powerful Focused Yod occurs on this date. and others have noted the Venus/Uranus Trine on this day.

We have been recommending action during this period, but on this day you may need to mend fences. Mercury opposes Chiron and quincunxes Uranus. A subtle but very powerful Learning Triangle (we are unsure whether or not it is properly a “Huber” Learning Triangle) will color the day (and affect the few days before and after the perfection of the pattern).

Note that Chiron is precisely in aspect with Uranus (Semi-Sextile) in addition to both in aspect to Mercury. Note that Moon enters Scorpio almost exactly at time of perfection of Mercury Opposite Chiron. This is not without impact as the Moon (briefly) forms a 5th harmonic pattern (one we will call a “Quintile Triangle”) with Pluto in Qunitle aspect on one leg (of the triangle) and Hygeia in Qunitile aspect on the other leg (of the triangle). Both Pluto and Hygeia are biquintile to each other.

We think that powerful breakthroughs in health care (and possibly health insurance) can be made on 8/19 and 8/20. However, this is a particularly narrow window that will not likely extend to any other days.
We note that Bill Clinton’s Solar Return is near this time (0158 CDT on August 19th), and we would not be entirely surprised to see him emerge into the public spotlight again regarding these issues.

This pattern begins with a late Taurus Moon (soon to go void) in the process of perfecting a trine to asteroid Ceres. The pattern starts in the afternoon (in the United States, evening in UK/EU) lasts until the early morning hours of the next day. Chances are that something significant can be accomplished if the temptation to use it as a “feel good” day is avoided.

These are rare aspects, and some people would argue against this one. Two of the components are the North/South node which are calculated points rather than planets. We present the chart and analysis, and you can decide for yourself.
A bit like a “Thor’s Hammer,” this is an energetic aspect that can be dangerous. You may have trouble sleeping, and if you are awake you will have much energy. You can get work done or clean house or something similar. But given that this occurs late Friday into Saturday, you might want to stay off the roads to avoid inebriated drivers. Moon opposite Mars is part of the pattern, and that makes “things” even more energetic. (Moon opposite Mars perfects a few hours before this pattern forms.)

This set of allegiances has law and intuition on one side (Astraea and Moon) versus tradition and innovation (particularly military innovation) on the other side. While any pattern can manifest in many ways, do not be surprised to see more legal battles involving privacy and technology play out with this Moon in Scorpio pattern.

The issues are a bit different, here, but we do see the Capricorn Moon conjunct Pluto (<1 degree orb), so privacy is another set of issues. Here we are looking at innovation (and possible accidents, Uranus) in healthcare (Hygeia) versus Moon/Pluto (power struggles!) and Juno (issues of betrayal and loyalty) on the other side.
A different Hele dominates the skies before these two, and yet another different one comes into focus at the end of the month. Again, this month is all about allegiance.

Full Moon 2015-08-29

Full Moon 2015-08-29
As far as FM’s go, this is one of the quieter ones. The past few months have been FULL of patterns, particularly Thor’s Hammer, Hele, and Rosetta patterns. To some degree, one might start to believe that they are ALWAYS with us, but that is not so. Again, this is one of the quieter FM’s, but we could easily see some action in certain areas. In particular, Jupiter / Neptune influences this FM, and some people may go “overboard.” Resist the temptation to speak hyperbole and the temptation to tilt at windmills. But, if you are a “creative,” then this can be a very, very good time for you to create music, poetry, photography, and videography (and similar arts).
This FM has a T-Square (and, yes, THOSE are common), Grand Trines (multiple overlapping, almost functioning as a single GT), and a simple uncomplicated Hele.
We present first the chart filtered for oppositions first (that is what an FM is, namely Moon opposite Sun) that shows the other oppositions in play (notably Mercury opposite South Node, meaning a tendency to “take the easy way out” instead of doing necessary hard work):

We also see Astaea (law and justice) opposing the mid-point (combination) of Pluto (power politics and sometimes police & intelligence agencies) and Ceres (feast and famine issues, likely agents of economic control here). We would not at all be surprised to see lawsuits along these lines at this time. (i.e. Shareholder’s derivative lawsuits and similar).

We note a square between Ceres and Uranus here. This could be a fight inside Tech companies between the visionaries and engineers and creatives, on one side, and the bureaucrats and management and similar on the other side. Maybe something a bit like this scene:
Betrayal is likely to be part of the mix. Compare, also, this scene:
We also see a T-Square, giving us the energy to accomplish very specific tasks:

And, those specific tasks are directly tied to the Hele: legal department, finance/management, and creative geniuses at war. As an aside, I am betting on the creative geniuses. (But, I am a bit biased and tend to favor them anyway.)
