April is the month of love! We have a Full Moon in Libra (ruled by Venus) and a New Moon in Taurus (again, ruled by Venus). Moreover, Venus will turn direct on April 15^th, giving us the green light for romance, relationships, money, personal values, beauty.

During the past six weeks, Venus asked us to have an honest look at our relationships, our possessions, our values, and check to see if they are still relevant. We are now ready to move forward in closer alignment with our true values. Venus turns direct close to Chiron at 26° Pisces, opening us to the healing power of love.

Four planets change direction in April, increasing their influence few days before and after their station:

• Saturn turns retrograde on April 6^th at 27° Sagittarius
• Mercury turns retrograde on April 9^th at 4° Taurus
• Venus turns direct on April 15

Snapshot: Friday afternoon our thoughts shifted to more earthy, beautiful things. Early Saturday we had some irritation between our motivations and desires followed by some productive healing words.  Sunday morning brings subconscious clarity and Sunday evening brings some very magical relating and negotiations.

About 1:45pm on Friday Mercury ingressed Taurus.

He is already in Phase 1, the Shadow Phase of his impending Retrograde cycle. But our thoughts and words have changed a bit to be slower, more practical, more loving and about things and objects we desire.

At 2:18am on Saturday Venus Rx at 0:53 Aries Semi-Squares Mars at 15:52 Aries.

These 2 Planets are in ‘Mutual Reception’ as they each Transit the Sign the other rules. So its a mild irritation between men and women or our own internal male/female energies.

At 7:52am Mercury at 0:46 Taurus Semi-Sextiled Venus at 0:46 Aries.

It’s April Fool’s Day and the Gemini Moon is happy to help us play a few pranks while hanging out with our friends. She is in an affable mood today thanks to a sextile to the Aries Sun before dawn, with a square to Neptune in tricksy Pisces a little while later bringing out her sneaky side and a trine to upbeat Jupiter in Libra this evening for good luck. I was woken up by the words, “The ‘I’ in Collective”, this morning – at my usual school clock time. The body does get used to routine, after all. This, of course got me digging for associations. So, I came across some fitting texts…
