Mother Earth Father Sun

The first full moon of this lunar year has the Aquarian Sun illuminating the Moon at 22 degrees Leo. Both the Sun and the Moon have aspects to other planets during this full moon; however the strongest aspect is the Sun-Moon opposition, and given the speed of the Moon around the earth, it is an energy that builds quickly, has strong impact, then dissipates quickly.

More relevant to any explanation is the level of consciousness of the individual. In a 3D sense, Leo is the roarer who [emotionally] needs to be seen as the king, and as such the ego takes a step forward at this point in time. One on a spiritual path may also perceive this as an opportunity to explore aspects of the inner self seeking to maintain relationships through dominance, and one might then be rewarded by acknowledging and subsequently releasing that habit or belief…
