Where to start?

(1) With the big Jupiter Septile Yod I guess.  It’s with us from around 1 October through 7 October.  Remember last week’s Magic Storm?  That was about one version of what we call “Magic” – the Miracle of Timing.  It’s one of the greatest Blessings that follow from developing your Intuition.  You can spend years (or Lifetimes) trying to do something without success, when the Timing isn’t right.  Then, when the Timing is right, you can accomplish it in a Heartbeat.

Don Juan was always trying to teach Castaneda to “Save his Power,” and this is what he meant – don’t waste your Energy when the Timing isn’t right.  This is the Seventh Harmonic; planets one seventh of the way ’round the Zodiac from one another, or two or three sevenths.  How do we know when the Timing is right?  Our Intuition tells us, but we…

Libra Seeking Balance

‘Fierce’ is one way to describe the Full Moon at 23° 14′ Aries on 15 October 2016, 09:24 PDT, in part because fiercely independent Uranus in Aries conjoins the Moon and opposes the Libra Sun. As long as partners do their best to give each other plenty of space and support the other’s need to express their personal autonomy, conflict can be kept to a minimum. If one person gives in to the need to be controlling, all bets are off and resentment may build at an alarming rate.

Libra’s ruler, Venus, only plays a minor role on this occasion. She is still in Scorpio, semi-sextile the Libra Sun and inconjunct the Aries Moon and Uranus. Knowing Scorpio, she’ll probably sit on the sidelines and watch to see where the pieces fall.

However Mars in Capricorn is right in the thick of things. Mars rules Aries and is especially powerful…

Katie Turner - Know Your Vibes Astrology

You may be feeling a little unlucky today, maybe you’re more restricted then you would like. Push through it and you’ll realize you’re freer than you think. There is good energy for making moves that secure your future, so don’t be afraid to take action. There may be some intense energy in the air, especially later tonight. Release what needs to be released, but do so carefully. If you can steal away a minute or two midday to be alone and recharge, do it. It may give you the extra thing that you need.

Transits of the day:

  • Moon square Jupiter, 4:56 am
  • Moon conjunct Mars, 7:18 am
  • Moon sextile Neptune, 11:45 am
  • Moon conjunct Pluto, 9:57 pm

Why are Trines so important?

paradise kendra | Astrology Readings ☼

Astrology 2017 predicts that the year is starting with the unpredictable revolutionary Uranus stationed at Individualistic Aries, expansive Jupiter in balance-conscious Libra, planet of structures and strictures Saturn in free spirited Sagittarius, transformative Pluto in authoritative Capricorn, and mysterious Neptune in mystic Pisces.

Towards the end of 2017, two major planets Jupiter and Saturn make a transition into the next house. Jovial Jupiter enters intense Scorpio in October and stern Saturn enters own house disciplined Capricorn in December. Uranus, Neptune and Pluto remain in their respective stations, their only movement being retrogression and progression (where applicable) within the transiting signs.

As per 2017 predictions, significant planetary aspects influencing events, happenings, occurrences, trends, and movements include:

Uranus opposition Jupiter
Jupiter sextile Saturn
Jupiter square Pluto
Saturn square Neptune
Saturn trine Uranus
Pluto sextile Neptune
Pluto square Uranus

Later in the year due to Jupiter’s ingress into Scorpio and…

October 2016 Forecast – Balancing the scales between black moons, the dark feminine, and karmic timeline convergence

October 8, 2016 at 7:55 pm | Posted in Astrology | Comments Off on October 2016 Forecast – Balancing the scales between black moons, the dark feminine, and karmic timeline convergence

Oct 1st new moon in Libra at 9′ 21″-8.11pm EDT/ October 1st 00.11 UTC
Oct 16th Full Moon in Aries at 23′ 14″ – 12.23am EDT/04.23 UTC
October 30th New Moon in Scorpio at 7′ 44″ – 2.38pm EDT/ 17.38 UTC

As we journey past the high drama of September’s new eclipse cycle onward into October many of us are grappling now with a sudden change or unexpected turn of events in our lives. There has been a fundamental shift but we may still feel in the dark as to how this new alignment will unfold. The new lunar cycle commenced on September 30th making this the second New Moon in the same calendar month, that is if you live in the western hemisphere. This phenomenon is called a Black moon and is a relatively rare occurrence.

The New Moon in the air sign of Libra is conjunct…

Samhain Releases

October 8, 2016 at 7:40 pm | Posted in Astrology | Comments Off on Samhain Releases

The Sunflower-Lunar

Mercury shifted into Libra (I Balance), conjunct with the Sun and Jupiter, so you will be feeling the urge to put yourself second in communication and listen to others more easily. Libra tends to put itself behind the task at hand lending it’s energy to the larger cause at hand (and all the better if we can look good doing it).

With Samhain approaching, a darker time of the year with more introspection, I have made a list of things I want to begin releasing back to the universe; attitudes, behaviors and ideas that no longer serve me and my higher purpose. Habits are hard to break and this will take time. By beginning now with a genuine desire to release, I am setting up my year to come consciously and concretely, with clear steps to take. They do say, “The first step is admitting you have a problem.”

Capricorn Moon says it’s not a play day 10-8-2016

October 8, 2016 at 7:36 pm | Posted in Astrology | 2 Comments

Libra Seeking Balance

It looks more like a working weekend than play time to me. The Capricorn Moon powers up at dawn when she conjoins Mars and the best thing to do is channel that energy in a constructive way. Later during the morning the Moon is sextile Neptune in Pisces, and that suggests helping out with a community project of some kind might be a rewarding way to spend the day. It will be evening before the Moon makes her monthly conjunction with Pluto, ending the day on a rather somber note. 🌠☽♑🌠

Sometimes we forget Capricorn does have a wild and crazy side because most of the time we associate this sign with a cool, businesslike way of going about things. Goat footed Pan who lives in the deep, wild woods and hills lurks behind Capricorn’s buttoned down exterior. I have known a few Capricorns over years who loved to live…

Moon & Mercury transition to Capricorn & Libra today 10-7-2016

Libra Seeking Balance

By mid-afternoon when the Moon enters Capricorn after a long void-of-course in Sagittarius, we’ll enter a strongly cardinal zone with seven planets in cardinal signs (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto). The tide turns shortly after midnight when Mercury left Virgo for Libra and the cardinal emphasis will last for the next couple of weeks. Use your time during the morning to tidy up loose ends if you can because once the Moon arrives in Capricorn and conjoins Mars a couple of hours later, the need to drive forward will only get stronger. It will help to have goals and clear priorities . . . talk to your cardinal sign friends for help with that. 🌠☽♐🌠➱🌠☽♑🌠

The other strong cardinal punch today is the Libra Sun making its annual square to Pluto in Capricorn. This year it will be a good week before the Libra Sun opposes Uranus…
