2016 Taurus New MooooN (Hele, Kites, T-Squares)

Five retrograde planets and a Taurus New Moon.  That is where we start.  Also, this NM occurs in Week 19 of 2016 in the month of May.

This NM is in Taurus near the center of the sign at 16 degrees, just one degree past the point of the “Cross Quarter Day” (which in this case is what some call “Astrological” Beltane).  If you celebrated Beltane yesterday (on Cinco de Mayo), then you should have focused on clearing on the old to make room for the new.  But, what “new” are we preparing for this time?

In this case, three patterns are present.  Arguably, this is one pattern and two sets of patterns.  We have one Hele, and that tells us to take a hard look at our long term alliances.

We have a series of Kites built from a series of overlapping Grand Trines. To be clear: Kites are ordinarily built from Grand Trines, so that is not the issue.  The issue is that Sun/Moon is on one leg of the Grand Earth Trine, North Node / Jupiter on another (the Virgo leg), and Pluto on the third leg (Capricorn).  This is all about money and, more generally, material manifestation.  The Kite(s) are completed by the South Node.

So we have the odd situation where we manifest something through hard work (North Node) probably in higher education, the legal system, or long distance travel (Jupiter) that involves a profound change, police or intelligence agencies, or someone’s death (Pluto) but, in the end, we have to look to our “old behavior” (the stuff we are trying to move beyond) to truly manifest the opportunity.

So, for some or many of you, this either is totally unclear or provides a great deal of clarity.

One way to solve the problem is to take one of the planets and identify how it operates in your life.  Pluto is slowest moving, and for some people that is easiest.  If so, identify what current issues you have involving finances, taxes, wills, inheritances, “other people’s money,” police, intelligence agencies, poisons, drugs, or anything else Plutonian in nature.  Move on to Jupiter, and look at long distance travel (particularly to a country where you are NOT a citizen), higher education (possibly over the last year or several years), law or legal system (are you in a lawsuit?  Divorce?), or anything else Jupiter “rules.”  Look for the commonalities between Jupiter and Pluto; they are very important from last fall through this summer (after that we move to other issues).

Next, look at Taurus issues: money (again, but from some different perspective, such as earning the money yourself), investments, health (particularly diet and exercise), “beauty” (if that applies to you), or any other Taurus (Venus) issues.  Keep in mind that Taurus is “fixed earth,” so it can be stubborn in the sense that granite is “stubborn” (and immovable).

Finally, take a look at where you are, where you want to go, and where you have been.  Did you leave something or someone behind?  Did you leave something undone?  If so, now is the time to wrap that up so you can move forward.

Pick your “friends” carefully now.  They, or their influence, will be with you for a LONG time.  And, with Ceres involved, these “friends” may take you through some powerful times of “feasts” and “famines.”

Finally, we have too many T-Squares, overlapping, to count.  Here is the chart:

You will have energy, and if you do not have energy you will have anger.  Likely you will have both.  If you do NOT use the nodes, then four different variants of T-Squares are present (with Saturn at the apex), and if you do use the nodes then NINE different variants are present (with Saturn at the apex).  You may believe you can keep your cool, “stay centered,” etc. but you cannot.  And anyone who appears to be doing that is lying and deceiving those around them.  Please do keep that in mind.

Avoid dangerous people, places, and things (including being a dangerous person yourself) and harness these energies to “get things done.”  These are longer term planetary positions, so we will see a series of grand crosses emerge in the weeks to come as planets move into the “hole” in the T-Square (that completes a grand cross) which is currently located at about 15 to 18 degrees Gemini.  (If you were born about June 6th, give or take a few days, this will be an “exciting” summer for you.  You will tend to have memorable events.)
