Venus Sextile Uranus 2016-03-02 (Double Yod Key)

Venus Sextile Uranus happens three times in 2016, and this is the first.  The other two are June 12th and December 25th (Christmas Day).  The aspect tends to bring kinky or unusual sex or unusual sexual relationships.  Traditionally that meant LGBT, but now that those are becoming more “mainstream” it might mean other “more unusual” relationships.  But, if you are LGBT, this should tend to be a good day for you.

This day has a Double Yod Key (DYK) in it from 3:32 PM CST to 9:05 PM CST.  That is a period of at least two important decisions, and it could be a time of many more important decisions, the kind that tend to be “life changing.”

We present the chart for perfection of Venus Sextile Uranus, filtered for the DYK:

This DYK appears in an extended period from February 20th until March 15th that contains a Square Key.  That means this period is a period of learning important “lessons.”  Here is the same chart, filtered for the Square Key:

What do these two mean together?  We have been learning a series of important lessons since February 20th and will continue to do so through March 14th.  But today, particularly today, brings a series of important decisions to the forefront.  In other language, “things come to a head.”

Oddly, though we can prepare, we cannot take truly decisive action until Friday when we have a Focused Yod (which is very good for “getting things done”).  Friday requires a decision, as well, but if we make it and truly commit to one path, then we can “get things done.”

Wednesday March 2nd 2016

A Square Key has been present since February 20th and lasts until March 14th.  A Double Yod Key (DYK) begins today at 4:16 PM CST and lasts through Friday, March 4th at 9:12 PM CST.  The Double Yod Key brings us a period of several (at least two, possibly many more) important decisions, and the Square Key is a period of important (possibly life changing) “lessons.”  Friday afternoon is particularly important as a Focused Yod dominates the sky from 3:32 PM CST until 9:05 PM CST.  This period on Friday is an important time when we can “get things done.”

Wednesday, in particular, is a busy day in terms of lunar aspects, and these lunar aspects tend to favor fire and air signs.  Everyone will be busy, and for some of you (especially fire (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) and air (Libra, Aquarius, Gemini)) will be especially busy.

Venus (Aquarius) sextiles Uranus (Aries), and some people engage in kinky sex or at least “unusual” romantic relationships.  (If you have been contemplating such a thing, this is your day to “make it happen.”)

This is tainted a bit as Juno (trust and loyalty) stations retrograde today.  Juno is associated, also, with female roles, notably, wife, mother, sister, and daughter; of these, it is especially associated with the wife of the philandering husband (Jupiter).  In any situation, trust issues will come to the forefront today, and you may need to eject someone (maybe even a group) from your life.

Hygeia and Uranus are quadrinovile.  Quadrinovile is associated with powerful insights (sometimes “far out” metaphysical aspects) that open the door to new skills and technologies that completely alter how “things are done.”  Sometimes these are called “disruptive technologies.”  In this case, on one side, we have the “health and healthcare” issues of Hygeia and on the other we have “computers, internet, electronics, social workers, and radical innovations” from Uranus.  We would not at all be surprised to see some major shift in the healthcare system on this date.

We note that Venus (Aquarius) sextile Uranus (Aries) AMPLIFIES the Hygeia / Uranus aspect, and Aquarius is the home for Uranus.  Both Aquarius and Uranus are the home of all issues involving “computers, internet, electronics, social workers, and radical innovations.”  In a word, it is the “future.”  Venus is about art and love and pretty farms, but it is also finances (particularly the financial markets) and the body.

This a GREAT day to resurrect that “New Years Resolution” to improve your health but now in a more practical version that actually works.  And, if you already have a version that works you can now expand it (carefully) in some creative and innovative way.

Do keep in mind that much of this “turns off” on Thursday and the windows close.  If you are to get something done, do it today if you can.  Friday, you will get another shot at your single most important issue.

Today is a good day for innovators, particularly engineers and scientists but also for Internet innovators (who may be neither scientist nor engineer).  With Venus Sextile Uranus, we may see an unusual romance blossom at lunch today (Western Hemisphere) or supper (EU / UK).  Wrap it up by 8:54 PM CST when the Sagittarius Moon turns void and take the rest of the evening off.

Eyes of Heaven

For some reason, the WordPress system is not allowing any of the graphics I’ve made to be posted in their usual format. So, in the mean time, here’s this bit of text for our use, lifted from the graphic.

On the 2nd, Venus and Uranus meet harmoniously
and a review of what we hold as valuable can happen.
Later on the 2nd, at 4:55pm HST a Void Moon begins and ends on
the 3rd at 12:01am when the Moon enters Capricorn.

Remember to shift the times noted above +2 PST, +5 EST, +10 UT.

Subtle nuances may fleet by those not sufficiently attuned to notice.  A chance to anonymously help someone less fortunate than ourselves without any expectations may unexpectedly lead to a solution to a previously unforeseen problem.  Keep your eyes and ears open.

The Sun moved into Pisces on February 19.

Pisces is ruled by planet Neptune. Pisces marks the culmination of the circular evolvement of individual awareness back to spiritual wholeness. The energy of Pisces entices us to live from that greater heart as a way of life.

This hasn’t been easy for humans to do. In the illusion of separation that this physical world presents to our limited senses, we’ve tended to live in fear of others, afraid that death is the end of everything. Religions have given us hope for more and at times have been instrumental in “awakening” some individuals to…

In the Stars for March

The Sun has been transiting through the imaginative mystic water sign Pisces. This sign signals the end of the winter cycle and mid-March brings the Vernal Equinox when the Sun enters the fire sign Aries.

The Pisces Sun sign is the most fluid sign of the zodiac as it ends the cycle. The symbol of the two fish swimming in opposing directions while fastened together by the silver cord of life symbolize the dual aspects and confusion attributed to Pisces. Pisces natives are: romantic, imaginative, sensitive, psychic, introverted, giving them strong deep emotional inner life that they must sort through to feel love and compassion as faith verses worries and fears which can dominate their consciousness. total-solar-eclipse-comThe immanent  total solar eclipse of 9 March at 03h58 Central African Time (01h58 GMT) occurs at 19 degrees of Pisces. We won’t get to see it in its totality this time, unless you’re in the Pacific of course, around Hawaii or Indonesia. Those in Northern India and Nepal will potentially be exposed to a partial eclipse at sunrise on the 9th, so the temples may actually be closed for the morning worship that day. It may be better to delay cooking or eating your breakfast until after the whole eclipse experience is over in that case… By Jasomatinandan Das Julian Horack

Into the Flow .

On March 9th a Full Solar Eclipse will take place, heightening energies here on Earth.
This event amplifies and supercharges all of the New Moon energy we will already be feeling. When they occur, about once a year, total Solar Eclipses are only visible to a small geographic location on Earth — March’s eclipse will be visible to Southeast Asia, Eastern Australia, and parts of New Zealand.

The last solar eclipse I was able to view was in 1995, in New Jersey. The next visible total eclipse I will see, here in California, will be in August 2017. So, you see how rare it is to be present at a location that will have visibility of this event.

Though, like the power of the moon, just because we can’t see it, doesn’t mean it isn’t affecting us! We can’t see Mercury, yet it’s retrograde causes quite enough trouble. I believe that when…
