Sun Square Jupiter 2015-12-14 (Thor’s Hammer)

Perfection of this aspect co-occurs with Mercury Sextile Neptune on this date. This can be a very fun day or a very dangerous day or both. Sun Square Jupiter tends to “overdo it,” and the question becomes what is “it.” Thor’s Hammer is associated with a sense of urgency and the ability to “get things done” in its best form, but easily degenerates into anger, violence, and explosions in the low form. Mercury Sextile Neptune is excellent for artists in all of the Muses, including writers particularly of lyrics, poetry, and similar, but it is terrible for large purchases and long term committments.

Given an option, make this a “fun day.” If you have any artistic tendencies at all, then focus on those. Avoid dangerous people and dangerous situations, and that includes avoiding being a dangerous person yourself.

We note that this is another “longer term” Thor’s Hammer affecting a period of days or weeks and not just the perfection of this particular aspect.

Here is the chart for perfection of Sun Square Jupiter, filtered for the Thor’s Hammer:

If you are a religious person, this is a very good day to “get in touch with” your spiritual side. For some people we want to make this explicit: that does NOT mean harming other living creatures of any kind. (We will make an exception if you need to eat plants to survive.)  Both Jupiter and Neptune are associated with religion and spirituality, so a great deal of potential exists to make progress in those areas today.  (Please use that potential wisely.)

For those interested in other dates upon which this aspect perfects, here is a list from 2000 to 2030.  (This may help with both retrospective reviews and advanced planning.)  For those who are reading this contemporaneously, you will want to make a note to review this post (and your personal notes on your life at this time) in late May (about May 27th of 2017) for the upcoming June 4th of 2017 perfection.  One way to do this is to use FutureMe.

“Open your heart”

Early this morning a harmonious aspect between loving Venus and spiritual Neptune came together. This energy is going to be strong throughout the weekend. Our feelings can flow better, especially in our relationships and around whatever we value most. We find it easier to be more compassionate and this helps us to heal our deeper emotional wounds and fears.

Our intuition can be very strong with this influence, along with the other aspects the cosmos is stirring up currently, our inner-psychic can be very in tune. It’s all to easy to trust others and open up about how we are feeling. It’s as if the Universe has gave us permission to finally trust something and open our hearts up again, to both giving and receiving love!

This energy is huge! Everyone of us at one time or another shuts our hearts down, due to fear or emotional…

It’s a new moon in Sagittarius—and the last new moon of 2015—tonight! As one of the most freedom-loving signs, today we may all be feeling a bit of the pull towards liberation—from a sticky situation, from the expectations of others, from anything that has been feeling constraining lately. In the passionate intensity of the quest for freedom, be aware of the tendency to exaggerate (and on the lookout for the same in others). Don’t get seduced by promises, but judge by behavior. It’s going to be very easy to get swept up in the moment, but it would be wise to direct that energy of possibility within rather than biting off more than you can chew out amongst others, where you’ll eventually have to recalibrate and explain yourself.

Chiron is squared against the moon, reminding us that we *all* have wounds and pain. The source of insecurities, jealousy, and…
