Full Moon Christmas 2015-12-25 (Grand Cross + Thor’s Hammer)

Sometimes emotions run high on this holiday for families.  This particular one is more charged than usual.  Both a Grand Cross and Thor’s Hammer are present.  Deadlocks and impasses (Grand Trines) have the potential to yield to words that cannot be unspoken or even violence (Thor’s Hammer).

Find a way to channel those energies, maybe anger and frustration, into a productive outlet.  If you cannot do anything else, then “walk away.”  Like so many situations, “this too shall pass.”

The aspect happens earlier in the day, so a potential exists to salvage the day later.  Tread carefully in that process.

Mercury trines Jupiter today, Uranus stations Direct, so most of the day is benevolent.  However, avoid any temptation to “overdo it,” and recognize that risky behavior is not a very good idea today or tomorrow.

  1. Thanks for your like about Inward Glimpse. I am a student, by no means an expect, but I believe forewarned is forearmed. What Are your thoughts about Uranus going direct on Christmas Day? It’s transiting my 8th house.

    • First question to ask is this: does it aspect any planets in your natal chart? If so, that will help clarify the implications. If Uranus is part of a larger pattern (T-Square, Grand Trines, Thor’s Hammer), then that is more significant. Finally, you may want to determine if the Uranus station forms aspects or patterns with people important to you. Generally speaking, in the low form this represents a risk of danger or death from accidents or explosions or electrical issues or problems. In the higher form, it is insights regarding those same dangers or taxes, finances, and inheritances. Maybe the time has arrived to address these issues, and you can start to get ahead of the events of Christmas by planning accordingly now.

      • Thanks. That makes sense. I will take another look at my chart, especially in connection with my 90-year-old mother’s. I am care taking her and she is having making challenges right now.
