Sheep River, AB Thanksgiving Weekend 2015

During the end phase of this Moon cycle! We’ve been experiencing the Balsamic Moon phase since November 7th at 8:00a MST. It brings us an opportunity to LET GO of whatever it is we’ve learned from, and about ourselves, since October 12th’s New Moon, that no longer works for us or within us. This is what Moon cycles do – offer opportunities to further our Self/Soul growth via awareness of what is getting in the way of BEing our true authentic self.

As of Saturday morning the Moon entered the waning Crescent phase (aka Balsamic Moon) at 29 degrees of Virgo 52′. Another indication we are completing a cycle is that 29th degree!

We began this Moon cycle in Virgo, and now we are definitely COMPLETING and closing – something! How many of you have had the urge to clear out closets, drawers, catch…

Mercury making a 7^th harmonic connection to Uranus brings about careful consideration of an idea from different points of view.  Discovery or new insight after careful analysis is highlighted.

A New Moon from the Darkest Regions

You might think the next New Moon (in Sagittarius), the one that falls before the Winter Solstice would be the new Moon of greatest darkness. But I think the new Moon in Scorpio is about exploring and honoring darkness, not releasing it as at the Solstice.   Scorpio has the potential to invite us to ‘Plunge ahead into the Unknown.’ This is the season where we can delight in early, twilight with time to feel darkness. Just as the new Moon, the invisible Moon is always about darkness because the Moon is tightly embraced by the Sun’s light, so too, Scorpio gives us the opportunity to explore darkness in a brightly lit society.
