By Monday night, we will be moving into the heightened emotional time of a Full Moon. The Moon will be at 3:45 Taurus and the Sun at 3:45 Scorpio at 8:05am on Tuesday morning. This puts the focus of this Full Moon across the axis of the 2 ‘Money Houses’. Taurus is your own money and resources and Scorpio is other peoples’ resources that you use. There is likely to be some ending here along this axis or a culmination of some sort. When the Full Moon precedes the New Moon in a Sign, there is a strange combination of energies that isn’t as straight forward. On Nov 11 we will have the New Moon in Scorpio which will bring a ‘fresh start’ to your intimacy and sharing of resources. But the next 2 weeks are about some ending or culmination in that same Sign.

Hurricane Patricia has changed lives and the landscape of our southern neighbors in rural Mexico. It seems a couple of major tourist areas did not see a great deal of damage.  The remnants of this massive storm is dumping rain on Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Texas has gotten enough rain to derail a train.

What remains of Patricia will soon make its way up the east coast. I hope the best for everyone in the path of this storm. With a Full Moon just days away, I am expecting the Moon energy to add to the energy of the storm. The weather man says we could see some heavy rain in this area. Wishing everyone the best.

This week begins a new two week period of bringing projects to an end. I have a busy week planned for myself too. There is a big project I have been working toward for a while…

Sun has started his transit through the intense, watery Scorpio sign. The format this month will revert to the usual four topics, but due to time pressure I am going to use the ingress chart as the basis for the analysis. Will Sun entering Sagittarius finally give me a break? lol

The ingress chart is most interesting. Sun makes a conjunction to Apollon (Transneptunian) in the critical degree of Scorpio. It gives the impression of a magnetic, mysterious celebrity. This month is therefore somewhat geared towards more reclusive study and learning, although Apollon is also about making yourself known and presenting a persistent, upbeat image to the world. Apollon-Sun at 0 Scorpio is about presenting a powerful image of yourself, and teaching self or others in order to change your perspectives. Thus the Sun in Scorpio theme begins this year in a manner we will not experience again.

Moon in…

Sunday is another rough and tumble kind of day.  With Moon in Aries, fire signs tend to have SOME advantage.  Venus Conjunct Jupiter, third in the series, favors everyone but particularly earth signs and particularly Virgo in that group.  This is your day to buy a lotto ticket Virgo.  That may be more true metaphorically than literally, but you may have some special window available today.

Some rough spots are present.  Mercury (Libra) quincunx Chiron (Pisces) and Opposite Uranus (Aries) creates a state of panic for students who have assignments coming due and possible emerging healthcare issues for some people (particularly elderly and disabled).  As is always true, you must evaluate how the mix of aspects applies to your personal situation.
