Hygeia (health, healing and healthcare professions) enters Virgo (arguably its home) on September 19th and almost immediately squares Saturn at 0 Sagittarius.  Both Virgo and Sagittarians will likely “feel” this day, but so will Pisces and Gemini.  This is especially true for those who birthdays (Sun or other planets) are near the “cusp” including late Leos, Scorpios, Aquarians, and Taureans.  (Birthdays a few days before or after February 18th, May 21st, August 23rd, and November 22nd).

Health and healthcare issues are likely to be prominent on this date, particularly for those with birthdays “near” the dates previously mentioned.

We note significant 5th Harmonic activation at this time.  A 5th Harmonic pattern resembling a Yod is in play, and we believe that this represents an opportunity…

Below is a man by the name of Bill Swan. He is 80 years old, an army veteran, a cancer survivor and a victim of police brutality. After surviving and beating cancer, he was then beaten severely by the police. He suffered not only an extremely brutalized face, but several broken ribs as well.

Why? Because he “refused to obey orders” given by cops…but there was a reason for that…he’s deaf ; so he obviously heard nothing. Of course not one officer will be punished, they are beating and/or killing every day. They are using excessive and fatal force because they can- and they know it.

How they live with themselves, I will never know. But, nevertheless, using excessive force because an 80 year old doesn’t do as ‘ordered’ is uncalled for, no matter the situation. He posed absolutely no threat to anyone; not the cops, not society…

*Sigh* – So, so depressing.

In Florida back in 2008 an unarmed, non-violent young man whom suffered with Bipolar was shot to death by the police. Adam Phillips had been living with his mom that year as he waited for a spot to open up for him at the Drug Abuse Foundation. Yes, he was also a drug addict: one seeking help but put on the back burner like too many people.

Mental illness is nothing to be ashamed of, it is a stigma society clings to. People fear the unknown and the unseen. But just because one can’t see a mental illness does not make it any less deadly or severe than physical disease, or ones that can be seen under a microscope.

One would think cops should be trained to deal with people who have mental illness, especially those who are suicidal, paranoid, delusional, manic, etc. But too…

In Oregon, an 11 year old girl with a severe form of Autism and unable to respond or communicate verbally was tasered by police. A man by the name of Adam Bednar noticed the child walking nude down the highway Saturday. He drove along beside her in an attempt to protect her as he phoned the cops who are supposed to be trained in working with emergencies and children.

Though the cops make the claim that it was necessary to move her to stop her from danger, but was she in danger? From witness reports it sounds unlikely, and besides there are other ways to move a child than give them a volt of electricity known to kill grown men. As for danger, witnesses Bednar state she wasn’t even walking towards the road, anyhow.

Police say they warned her twice before tasering her, but as said, there are other ways…

The Moon is v/c in Scorpio for much of Friday, so it is a day best spent in contemplation, reflection and quiet meditation.  It could be useful for research and writing, just expect a need to re-do that when revelations come later.  (Later?  Yes, as early as the Moon in Sagittarius and as late as after Mercury’s direct station on October 9th.)

We now face Sun trine Ceres on Friday September 18th (feast or famine, depending on your past actions) and Saturday September 19thHygeia enters Virgo and immediate squares Saturn.  Once again, health and healthcare issues will rise in important and may result in conflict in the courts, possibly with religious organizations.  None of this, though, can come close to the intensity we will feel by Sunday as Mars is sesquiquadrate Pluto on Monday September 21st.

Friday: rest and reflection; possibly research; and feast or famine depending on…

We’ve a very nice bundle of Grace going for us for the next day or several, that will help us find a Sustainable Response to Fear and Anger and help us understand how to set good Boundaries that Protect our True Self without being offensive.

Respectively, a Grand Trine between Sedna, Ceres, and the Sun, and a Grand Trine between Pallas, Uranus, and Venus, the latter stretched into a Kite focused on the Mercury Station.

The UK government is in talks with NASA about building a tracking system that could detect drones flying below 500 feet, the Under Secretary of State for Transport confirmed yesterday.

As spotted by Ars Technica UK, Lord Ahmad Tariq said the government is “in early discussions with NASA about the drone traffic management system.” What, exactly, such a system would look like is still unclear, though: Tariq said eventually trials will be needed “to test the robustness of the technology.”

America’s burgeoning drone industry is being threatened by liability risks.

Last month, the Federal Aviation Administrationapproved its 1,000th commercial drone permit, 998 more than it granted last year at this time.

For many in the nascent commercial drone industry, that momentum bodes well for an industry expected to generate billions of dollars in economic impact over the next ten years, particularly after a more cohesive set of commercial drone regulations is put in place by the FAA next year. But as commercial drones move toward ubiquity, the industry still faces a major obstacle in assessing and appraising drone-related liability and adequately insuring both drones and the companies that use them.

I’ve been crazy busy these past few weeks, with no time to blog, but here are a few things I wanted to share.
