Mars Conjunct Sun (April 2013): Explosion at West, Texas

As interesting as the chart is, the map is even more interesting.  Here is a Solar Maps map of the time reported for the explosion:

Note that this same line (Mars/Sun conjunct) also passes through Dallas and Austin.  Why this location?  That is a question for someone else to answer.  But, the Mars/Sun conjunction occurred at 28 Aries on a day with no other (major) aspects.

Of course, the last three degrees of any sign are said to be the “fated” degrees and have been discussed at length in relation to unfavorable events. Mars rules Aries and is in its home.  And, the same stellium associated with the Boston Marathon explosion a few days later is in the sixth house at this location.  (We would not expect the sixth house to be as malefic as the eighth, but apparently it was in this case.)
