Sun Conjunct Jupiter, May 2012

Except in certain cases of Jupiter retrograde, the Sun conjuncts Jupiter once a year.  Jupiter has a 12 year orbit, and so it moves to a new sign each year.  This year Jupiter is in Taurus, and the Sun will conjunct Jupiter in a few days.  Although this is a fairly routine annual event, it is worth noting because it brings wonderful opportunities to many people.  And, I heard Lee Lehman at UAC ’98 say, in reference to Jupiter, “spectacular losses.”

That is true.  With the recent (and ongoing) sharp semi-square of Uranus to Jupiter (more properly Jupiter to Uranus since Jupiter is faster), some people will be spurred to make bad decisions.  You will have to evaluate your own circumstances to determine whether or not you should take that “big risk” that presents itself.

That said, I will provide a few estimates as to how I think the Sun-Jupiter conjunction, in process for the next few days (though about May 12th or 13th) will play, in general, for most signs.  (Remember, this is general and does not take into account your Moon sign or the rest of your chart.)

Aries:  Life has been full of surprises and will be for the next few years with Uranus in your sign.  (Uranus stays in a sign for about 7 years.)  The Sun-Jupiter conjunction will amplify the surprises.  This could be in “size” or frequency or both.  Your life could take on a bit of a whimsical and unpredictable quality; this could be a turning point.  Most of you will handle this well.  As is true with the other signs, most of you will have to make a stand on some issue during this window.  See if you can get a Taurus to do the work.

Taurus:  We are in a recession, but you have an opportunity for a big win.  However, Taurus can be slow to act, and many will let it pass by.  Hindsight is 20/20.  So, the fact is that most of you better jump on the opportunity while the window is open.  It will shut, and this one probably will not visit you again.  Be careful about others trying to take your advantage from you, especially Scorpio.  An Aries may want credit for the idea.

Gemini:  You are smart and fast, but you have a possibility for a mis-step here.  Pisces can irritate you, but stick with the positive side of Piscean energy here: poetry, music, photography, and selflessly (anonymously even better) helping others.  Watch out for the quick fix.  For you, “too good to be true” is probably good advice.  But, do take pictures.  P.S.  An allegiance with a Pisces might help you wrest the advantage from another team.  But, if a Scorpio catches you doing that….

Cancer:  Taurus exalts you, and this may be one of the best windows of your entire lifetime.  Friends can do amazing things for you in this window.  Some of you may invent brilliant things.  Consider hiring a patent attorney if you do.  Frankly, if you are smart you can let others scurry about while you reap the advantage.  Allegiance with a Scorpio could be smart.

Leo:  Taurus squares you.  The Uranus in Aries might save you, and it will certainly change you.  Frankly, this is a dangerous aspect for you.  Know everything about the price, total cost of ownership, before you buy it.  Whatever you choose, you must be decisive.  And, chances are good that there will be no turning back.  As usual, consider allegiance with Aries and/or Sadge.

Virgo:  Taurus trines you.  But, the unpredictable Uranus in Aries tends to irritate you.  Some of you will see major changes or shifts in your family.  This might bring big money to you.  In general, you will probably benefit.  You have some of the same problems as Libra.  You will tend to be dissatisfied despite the benefit you (might) accrue.  Maybe you need to drop some of the perfectionism for once.

Libra: Uranus in Aries opposes you and that forces you to be more of who you are.  That’s interesting since you are about balancing forces and delaying decisions until you have more information.  This one will MAKE you decide.  Failure to decide is a decision, and it might not be the one you want.  Be proactive.  Taurus inconjuncts you, and (similar to Virgo) you may be dissatisfied with the results no matter which option you pick.  But, do pick.

Scorpio:  Taurus opposes you.  You win big or lose big.  Most of you are smart planners and not so impulsive.  You are natural investigators, and you can use that much to your advantage in this situation.  Having a Cancerian ally could be very good for you.  If possible, do not have Virgo or Libra in your decision making; they cannot see the opportunity that you can.  Do realize that you do have a chance to be happy here if you are willing to work for it.  (That doesn’t tend to come easily to you.)  Follow the Boy Scout motto: “Be Prepared.”

Sadge:  Your problems are similar to Libra, except Uranus favors you.  Even if you stumble, even if you are a bit dissatisfied with the result, the “surprise” here is ultimately going to benefit you.  Try to take a long term perspective on this.  Avoid the temptation to buy a motorhome at this time.

Capricorn:  Read Cancer.  The surprise really irritates you, maybe more than anyone else.  But you’ll love the results.  You are not getting them the way you want, but you are getting them.  You’ll need to focus on the outcome rather than the method.  Avoid looking a gift horse in the mouth like a hypercritical Virgo might or waffling about an important decision like a Libra might.  It is possible to mess things up despite the fact that you are heavily favored here.

Aquarius:  All good for you.  Actually, it is outstanding for you, maybe the best.  Some of you will consider going back to school.  Leap on that.  Others will have their day in court.  You can win.  Still others should just buy a lotto ticket.  Although Taurus squares you, you can win big here.  You’ll experience some annoyance and discomfort, but the overall win is so big you should ignore the molehills.  Similar to Cancer, if a great idea or two hits, consider that patent attorney.

Pisces:  Just because the bank vault door is open does not mean you should rob it.  And, it will open for you.  Just be careful not to spend it before you get it.  Really, avoid the temptation to create a debt or spend unnecessarily.  The universe is very good at giving you expenses, so KEEP what you get if you get a win here.  You just might need it for a rainy day.  Open a savings account if you do not have one, and start filling it.  Note that this could be a situation where a Taurus will put you to work.  Is it a job that you want?  You’ll have to decide.  Avoid criminality or anything remotely similar.  Stick to being a saint, you can be very good at that.

All Signs:  If your moon is in a different sign, and you know where it is, read that too.  You will get a mix of both.  Only you live in your own skin, so you will have to adapt the interpretations to fit your own life.  Sometimes reading the others signs can tell you something about yourself.

Reading the sign opposite can be especially useful for some of you.  Also, try picking the same element.  (Fire: Aries, Leo, Sadge; Earth: Taurus, Virgo, Cap; Air: Gemini, Libra, Aquarius; Water: Cancer, Scorp, Pisces)

Also, depending on how old you are, you can look at major decisions, particularly career, travel, and finance, made during these periods:

Mar 8, 1988 to Mar 11, 1989

Supermoon 2012

This full moon is a bit different from the others this year.  It has been nicknamed “Supermoon 2012.”  Bigger and brighter than other full moons, it is unusually good for romance.  (A number of new Aquarians and maybe a few Capricorns will be started tonight.)  The moon does have a risk: some people will engage in mischief, likely mean spirited, that they should avoid.  Watch for criminal behavior.

Here is the chart for the Full Moon of May, 2012

If you are a beginning analyst (astrological analyst), then the following chart may be helpful:

I am going to make a bold leap and assume that, if you are reading this blog, you understand the dynamics of a Taurus Sun / Scorpio Moon Full Moon.  At sixteen degrees, these planets (astrologers call the Sun & Moon planets, just in case you do not know) are on top of the Fixed Sign 15 degree points that some (many) argue are “The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.”  That is, some argue that the “Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse” of the Book of Revelations in the Christian New Testament is actually a code for the 15 degree points.  These points are also associated with the “Quarter Days” which are in turn represented by various holidays in the United States and other cultures: Cinco de Mayo, Halloween, etc.  We note that this Full Moon actually occurs on Cinco de Mayo.

That said….

Particularly interesting is the Jupiter / Uranus semisquare.  Jupiter / Uranus aspects are associated with “luck” and such things as lotto winnings.  They also present reversal of fortune for some.  Expect big wins and loses about this date.  In sports, “upsets” are likely more common at this time.

The Promethean New Moon of 2012

The Promethean New Moon of 2012

This New Moon is as Uranian as they come.  With the midpoint of the New Moon precisely located between Retrograde Mercury (overdue events, running late, and sometime accidents) and Uranus (aka Prometheus, the bringer of light, discoveries, and sometimes ‘accidents’), how can any NM be more Uranian?

An extremely cursory (brief) search of the internet yielded plenty of names for Full Moons but none for the new ones.

This New Moon deserves its own special name: the Promethean Moon of 2012.

Here is the basic chart of the New Moon of March 22nd of 2012:

Click to Enlarge (or if does not display correctly)

Aspect Grid

Looking at that NM chart may not show the power that will present itself on March 22nd of 2012.  So, if you can read aspects, consider the Aspect Grid (shown above).  (And, if you cannot, just consider that this grid is composed almost entirely of two symbols: conjunction symbols and trine symbols.)

Conjunctions

Each conjunction is a CONCENTRATION OF ENERGY.  Here, it is in Aries (energy, vitality, violence, & war), and involves Uranus, Mercury (retrograde), and the Sun/Moon as a New Moon.  The conjunctions, in the Aspect Grid, are the circles with the lines sticking out of them.  This many of them together does not happen very often.  And, the little triangles mean that the effects of any event at this time tends to be very long lasting.  AND, this new moon is only two days after the Spring Equinox of 2012.

March 22nd

March 22nd is associated with a few interesting historical events:  the Jamestown massacre of 1622, the British Parliament passes the Stamp Act (setting in motion the American Revolution), Intel ships the first Pentium chips and (in 2009) Mount Redoubt (a volcano) begins erupting.  It is a good day to be the Promethean New Moon.

United States Map

The United States map is particularly interesting, since this Promethean New Moon rises off the coast of earthquake prone California.  We may not see the quake at the time of the NM, but do not be surprised if we see one, a really significant one, between the time of the Vernal Equinox and the Autumnal Equinox.  Why such a large range?  The answer is that the range is so large because of a number of other interesting events, particularly the Summer Solstice of this year (which is tied to ANOTHER New Moon).

For those of you familiar with the uncertainty of Yods, this looks interesting so soon after the New Moon.  One more map, this time of the Yod.  Note that the Uranus line is practically on top of Sacramento / San Francisco.

Vernal Equinox 2011: Sun Conjunct Uranus

The 2011 Vernal Equinox presages a year of accidents and innovations. The Tokyo earthquake of 03-11-11 was a ghastly and disturbing herald of some of the excitement, but expect a year of innovation as well. Governmental strife such as that of Libya and Egypt will be typical as well. Sun Conjunct Uranus at the time of the Vernal Equinox tells us that revolutions are at hand.

Still, this chart looks better than last spring.

Below is a basic chart, set in Dallas:

Here is a U.S. Map.  Two cities are truly noteworthy on this map: (1) New Orleans (Mars Line) and (2) Boston (Pluto Line).  What does this mean? Unclear, but best guess is that it is weather related, perhaps later this year.

This Full Moon comes as a powerful punctuation mark in a rare series of powerful patterns.  Interpretations of these patterns vary widely.  Probably because the are so rare they are difficult for the astrological community to form a consensus.  Some claim they are disruptive (they have been), and others claim opportunity.  Whichever set of advice that you follow, these patterns will tend to produce clear winners and losers.  And, in some cases, they will produce lose-lose situations where nobody benefits.

To paraphrase what has been described as “an old Chinese curse,” we are living in “interesting times.”  (See, also, this link.)

Here is the basic chart along with a few variations:

For those who like more details

In addition to the required Sun-Moon opposition, a number of other oppositions are occurring.  Jupiter and Uranus are “near” each other (most would say conjunct) and both oppose Saturn.  Uranus enters Aries about an hour and a half later.  Since Uranus has an 84 year orbit, it is clearly on the cusp, and even a slight error in calculation could mean it has entered Aries.  Regardless, this entry heralds (more) explosions, accidents, and revolutions (of all kinds, including but not limited to political).

Both Saturn and Uranus are also making stations.  This means they are almost “standing still” currently.  Saturn turns direct on Sunday, and Uranus turns direct on Monday.  Frankly, for the financial markets, this probably means “you ain’t seen nuttin’ yet.”  That is, an even more profound downturn could happen Monday or sometime early that week.

A large number of Arabic Parts are activated, you may explore these in the next version of the chart:

Be assured that the previous forecast regarding Venus Square Neptune is still in play.  This is the “falling in love” aspect that feels great.  BUT, scam artists and other criminals use it to cheat the rest of us that have stars in our eyes.   So, read Friday, April 23rd if you have not already.

Weekend Forecast

A new blog is being spun off of this one:  Weekend Forecast.  If you are a regular visitor here, you should check there on Thursdays or Fridays for a regular weekend forecast.

Getting Things Done

Venus also trines Saturn, and that makes us capable of getting something done.  At least some people, particularly women, will be wanting to lose weight (for the Summer?).  If you think this is the time to start, you are right.  Usually, starting a diet right after a Full Moon is best (Thursday), but you should start today (Saturday/Sunday).  The effect could be a powerful and lifelong change.

Cougars and DOM’s (Dirty Old Man)

Also, some “odd” romances could form at this time.  Traditionally, this is May/December.  In disagreement with the mood of our times, I think that older women (“cougars”) dating younger men is perfectly fine.  So is the other way around.  That anyone is actually offended by this shows we probably are not so liberated as many claim.

GLBT (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender) relationships will blossom or flourish this weekend.  Of course, if this applies to you, this may not be as true if you are predominantly fire or air signs, and the same is true for your partner.  But, GENERALLY, this is true.

Saturn Opposite Uranus

Saturn Opposes Uranus Monday.  Typically nothing happens.  Or, so we think.  Actually, since Saturn has a 28 year orbit and Uranus has an 84 year orbit.  What that really means is that LAST YEAR and NEXT YEAR are like the “evening of the Full Moon.”  Basically, the Crash of 2009 is tied to this, and we are not out of the woods yet.  But, the actual culmination is Monday.  We will continue to feel this at least throughout the summer and probably until the end of the year.

Full Moon April 28

The Full Moon will be the morning of April 28th for most of North America.  To be sure, we will write more about this in the next day or two, but the major coloring is what we have described above. Some of the babies born nine months from now will be very, very interesting people, particularly the ones from Cougars and DOM’s, who will accomplish much from the Grand Earth Trine in their conception chart.

Here is a bonus for you Hobbies That Could Make Money for Your Zodiac Sign.

What a dilemma.  The 3pm EDT chart for the explosion is “interesting,” but the 3pm EST chart looks like when it happened.  The EDT chart has a great deal of activity, but the EST chart closely corresponds to yesterday’s earthquake chart.  So, of course, both will be covered, but emphasis will be placed on the latter.  A series of key events led to this disaster, but the culmination was almost certainly at 3pm EST / 4pm EDT.  And, for those truly interested in this event, please read this analysis of the Pluto Retrograde Station on April 6th.

First here is the 3 pm EDT chart, the chart based on the reported time of the explosion:

To be certain, the five quincunx in this chart, including one to both Chiron and Neptune, show a period of instability.  Among other things, the quincunx is about misunderstandings and miscommunications.  Frankly, it is the kind of thing that could lead someone to use a clock that was never adjusted for Daylight Savings Time to report the “correct” time, and all others to then assume that the time was (of course!) DST.

From the point of view that speaks of “planetary energies,” the energy of aspects and patterns “flows” to the people and places where it can be most fully expressed.  Speaking hypothetically, if oversights, shortcuts, and miscommunications characterized this organization, then this kind of expression would emerge today.

But, if we assume that the reported time was 3pm EST (4pm EDT), then a slightly rectified chart to 2:58 EST (3:58 EDT) yields this chart:

THAT chart contains the same “Thor’s Hammer” (“God’s Fist” or “Quadriform”) as yesterday’s earthquake:

In fact, in many ways (except for the position of the Moon), this is the exact same chart as the earthquake yesterday.  The only reason that the Rosetta and the Square Key are absent are that the Moon has moved.  Note, also, that Algol is at Midheaven again.

That said, consider the following about this chart:

  1. The Moon Conjoined Pluto this morning.  Both are in Earth (Capricorn), and both form a Grand Trine (as true with the Earthquake) when the Ascendant moves into early Virgo near the 3:58 pm EDT time.  At the time of the conjunction of both, they were both quincunx Mars in early Leo.  This sequence of events was in play early this morning as the shift began for this particular group of miners.
  2. Algol is at Midheaven again, a sign that does happen once a day, but with other aspects in play an omen of death, particularly gruesome death.  (Okay, really all death is gruesome, but….)
  3. Chiron is again angular on the descendant, precisely as it was for the earthquake.

Predictions:

  1. Approximately 2:50am to 3am on April 6th a key discovery or announcement will be made.  Unclear is whether living will be found or more dead, but a key discovery will happen at “about” 3am (give it 30 minutes “fudge factor” on each side: 2:30am to 3:30am).
  2. Another key point will occur earlier, about 2:11am.  Here, either more dead will be found (specifically more dead) or a crucial omission or cause of the explosion discovered, or more likely both.  A sense of outrage will erupt among those who hear about this, and the company will have difficulty keeping this secret as a secret instead of an announcement.
  3. An additional “Thor’s Hammer” involving the Ascendant, Mars, and Mercury will emerge at 1am and will endanger rescue crews.  A possible loss of life to rescue crews may occur at this time.  If such a loss occurs, it will be due to an error made about 0029 or 0030 EDT when Saturn (opposing Uranus) touches Midheaven (or Uranus is at or near IC).
  4. Another crucial turning point will occur at roughly 4:30am.  Here, both the Midheaven (MC) and Saturn are highly activated.  By 5:49 am the process that begins at about 4:30am will likely reveal the fate of the miners (and possibly the company) as the Moon conjoins the North Node.  (The North Node is the point of Karma and Fate).  6:51 am will be another turning point as Pluto reaches Midheaven.  As the “God of the Underworld” is brought to the highest point in the sky, this will be the most clear assessment (until this point in time) of the extent of the damage.  More dead may be found at this time, but this kind of “opening of the crypt” might find living.  In either case, 6:51am is important.
  5. A mere 50 minutes later, at about 7:40am, another key turning point will be reached as the Node (Karma) reaches the Midheaven (MC).  Almost certainly this will signify that a new team will need to relieve the team that made the 4:30 discoveries.  For safety reasons, no particular team should work more than four (4) hours at a time here.  This discovery will be punctuated by more at 7:57 am and 8:02 am.  These are two of the best points for finding the living.
  6. 8:24 am will begin another period of danger for rescuers.  10:27 will begin a particularly dangerous time within that larger period of danger until about 10:33.  The larger period of danger ends about 10:50 am.  Anyone who has been up all night and not slept should try to sleep or at least rest at this time.  A new crew should prepare to take over.
  7. By 11:35 am, Pluto returns underground.  Discoveries will not be impossible but probably become more difficult. About 12:21 PM will be another particularly dangerous time for rescuers.    1:53 pm will also be especially dangerous, and begin a period of danger lasting until about 3:55pm.  Relative safety will return by 4pm or a little later.

Of course, after the Sun has returned to its place 24 hours after the initial event (the explosion), things will become different.  Each planet or star will have touched every point in every house, and made every short-term aspect (to the “angles” of the ascendant, descendant, Midheaven, & IC).  The next days that will come to pass are a topic for another post or other writers.

“The Cliff Notes” version: yep, this was another “Bad Moon” that certainly had the potential to generate a bombing.  That it occurred in Moscow rather than Tehran or Baghdad is surprising, based on the maps.  A number of global cities were affected in different ways, including New York, Philly, DFW (Dallas Fort Worth, aka “The Metroplex”), Oakland CA, Seattle, Vancouver, Tokyo, Jakarta, Alice Springs, Paris, Rome, Krakaw, Budapest, and most of Eastern Europe.

The Full Moon Will Provide the Energy for the Double Yod Key of March 30th

The Full Moon of March 29th has perfected, almost precisely as the beginning of this article about that Full Moon.   Although the U.S. has some important activity, once again Australia looks “interesting.”  We’ll cover the bombings today as well, and take a look at the Pacific Rim.  Most of this post will be graphic so that you can “draw” your own conclusions.  (Sorry, just could not pass that one up.)

The Double Yod Key of March 30th is still a powerful and “interesting” aspect.  (Here is a different approach to March 30th) Decisions will be made on that date, and they will be major decisions following this Full Moon.  Given the equinox this year with a precise Moon Conjunct Algol, other similar events may plague us this year.  Focused Yods (fairly common) and Quintile Kites (not so common) are prevalent during this period, as mentioned earlier.

Here are two versions of the Full Moon chart, both done with Solar Fire 7.22 and one done with a specially designed “custom” page:  (by the way, you can click on any graphic in this blog to open it for better viewing)

Also: here is a different interpretation of this Full Moon.  And, here is another one.

and

Note that Uranus has the largest midpoint tree.  Since Uranus (aka Prometheus) governs the unexpected, that is to be expected on the day of a bombing.  Uranus also governs rebels, rebellions, and revolutions.  So, that this bombing was done by rebels is not (after the fact) so surprising, either.  Note that Uranus midpoints pick up Sun, Mercury, Venus, Neptune and Chiron.  That is, Uranus aspects midpoints of most of the planets in the chart.

An Aries / Libra Full Moon always has the potential for violence.  Violence is not the only thing happening here; this could be a great time for romance, or building a plan and then engaging in decisive action.

And, now, for Maps.  Looking at the U.S. first, we see (1) MC line for a very strong Mars that forms a T-Square with the Ascendant and Venus (at this particular location).  This line operates through the geographic center of the U.S.  Neptune in NYC and Chiron along Philly show that the Mid-Atlantic is dealing with some kind of profound healing.  Since Neptune is all about revelations, do not be surprised if corruption is exposed and scandals erupt.  Curiously, these same scandals may lead (believe it or not) to the development of an educational curriculum (probably within a Criminal Justice program) that specializes in training law enforcement in the discovery of corruption and organized crime.  If you are reading this, and you are a professor thinking about this kind of thing, this is YOUR TIME.  Do not hesitate; charge ahead with your plan.  The time is ripe.

A hint exists here that something from the U.S. may have been involved in the bombing today.  Different versions of these lines exist in the former USSR, so do not be surprised if we learn the explosives or detonator were manufactured in the U.S., possibly somewhere in or near the Mid-Atlantic (or along that Mars line; maybe here in Texas?)

One other thing, Oakland CA, and Seattle & Vancouver have a Sun DSC line nearby.  In addition to making this a powerful Full Moon in those localities, the Moonrise was probably spectacular in those locations (still near horizon as this is being written).

Australia and New Zealand are “interesting.”  But, the most interesting thing is the Uranus line through Alice Springs.  Will one of the bombers have a connection to someone there?  Or, should people there be “aware” for “surprises.”  (What kind?  Who knows?  It would not be a “surprise” if we knew. But it is not necessarily “bad,” and no need to think this is a bombing. But, count on a “surprise” of some kind. Also, this is a VERY good time and place for “creative types.”)

For comparison, here is the link to the earlier Moon Conjunct Algol Map of the recent Equinox.

With a Pluto line through Tehran and a Uranus line through Baghdad, the big surprise is that the bombings did NOT happen there. Given that Pluto is considered to rule Nuclear energy (and particularly Plutonium, which is appropriately named after Pluto), this emphasizes the continuing issues with Nuclear Power and Tehran. Note that, similar to the related Moon Conjunct Algol Equinox map, Jakarta is once again affected or even somehow implicated in the activities of today. Other parts of Asia are “interesting” as well:

Saving the most important for last, we have Europe.  Oddly, Moscow does not have any lines.  The most crucial point on this map is a crossing of Mars (violence) and Chiron (healing).  That occurs very close to the eastern border of Poland.  What this means is unclear, but do not be surprised if this region somehow played a pivotal role in the bombing.  The UK is not clearly aspected, but both Paris and Stockholm  have the Node on the Ascendant, implying that a turning point (at least one if not many) has been reached in both places.  Most interesting would be to know what links exist between Paris and Stockholm.   The aforementioned Mars line passes near Krakaw, Budapest, and Rome.  Finally, that same Mars line, along with a Neptune line to the east, “bracket” much of Eastern Europe.  Here is the map:

Wednesday April 15th Moon enters Capricorn (tests, trials, and tribulations) after a few days sojurn in Sadge.  The Sun sextile Chiron on Tuesday brought the necessity to at least consider issues of teaching and/or healing.  Wednesday’s Mars conjunct Uranus will bring disruptions, especially to computers.  My guess is that we will hear more about the “Conflicker Worm.”

The Sun also aspects Neptune (dreams, delusions, and confusion) on this day.  Neptune can favor psychic activities, but the rest of us may just be confused or misled.  A few may have truly profound insights on this day.

Moon conjunct Pluto at this time adds more stress, particularly with regard to control dramas.  Mars, Uranus, Neptune, and the Sun tell the Moon and Pluto that control will not be had this day.  Neptune may offer the illusion of “control,” but Neptune is famous for impermanance.

With that cheerful prediction, I might add that we receive some rest with the Grand Trine of Thursday April 16th.  If your birthday is on that date this year, this may be a particularly fortuitous year for you.  Earth and water signs will particularly benefit this day.  Fire and air may still feel more of the aftershocks of Wednesday, but they will get SOME relief as well.

Friday brings back the pressure and intensity, particularly with the Capricorn void that begins the Fourth Lunar Quarter.  Buyers are favored, but probably not during the void.  My experience with voids is that you often get what you ASK for, but not what you WANT.  I have in mind an audio device bought many years ago to play voice.  It did that; but any attempt to play music uncovered the fact that the device was useless for that purpose.  Avoid purchases before about 1:30pm CDT (Dallas time).

Much of the rest of Friday is pressure back on.  Venus makes a Direct Station, and this signals a shift either in money, physical health, or romance.  Finances will shift, though the direction is difficult to determine.  The same is true for health, except more will have a favorable shift than not.  Romance generally will be ending of a short-lived relationship, or possibly the beginning of a longer-term one.

Mercury trines Saturn Friday evening (in Dallas), indicating that this is a very good day for detail work.  If you did NOT get your taxes in on the 15th, then you definitely want to get them out on Friday.

The Moon’s square to the Sun on Friday marks the beginning of a double void.  For the Moon, that period ends Friday afternoon.  But, the Sun continues to be void until Sunday evening when the Sun enters Taurus.  The first three degrees of any sign has been called “too early to tell” by some Horary Astrologers.  Generally, this tends to be a “wait and see” period.  Routinely “launches” should be fine, depending on the project.  But, avoid anything “too experimental” until a bit later.

No promises on when I will be able to write more predictions.

A shift in energy happens this weekend, and you will feel it. These days should be clustered together because this is one weekend that will “spill over” into next week.

Saturday the Moon is still in Capricorn, as Friday, and Financial Markets will somehow feel this. Mars Trines Saturn, which brings a sort of “closure” the the Mars Sextile Uranus of Thursday.

Innovative ideas may be squashed in favor of the status quo. We may hear some kind of government pronouncement about the military, but it will favor keeping the status quo rather than “change.” (Saturn (status quo) is the last to whisper in the ear of Mars (military, police, violence, violent criminals).

Meanwhile, Venus has aligned to favor Uranus (women, as a group, may find that they are VERY bored with the status quo), and Mars is “forced” to communicate with Venus. Some military / police officers may find themselves locked out of their homes by their wives or daughters.

The Moon, the other major feminine planet, speaks to everyone this day, but Venus has the the last word. This could indicate a mother / daughter alliance in a family (or other) dispute.

The VERY last word in this drama, though, belongs to the children (and the communicators) who can point at the supposed authority figure and say “he did it.” (Think of the final few scenes of the movie “Witness.”)

The Moon leaves all this behind as it enters a void and then Aquarius about 1am in Dallas (7am in UK). The Moon then conjoins Jupiter followed with a conjunction with the Sun which produces a Solar Eclipse. (You should read the Friday discussion of Jupiter’s influence). This Eclipse will be particularly life-changing for some people because of the intense Jupiter involvement. Higher education, travel (and diplomacy), and the courts will become particularly pronounced for some people, and, in fact, the population of the world will feel it.

Mercury (retrograde, in Capricorn) speaks to Mars Monday (either great Romance or terrible fights). Whatever happens this day, expect to “revisit” it on March 1st (when Mercury and Mars will meet again, but this time in Aquarius with Mercury forward motion).

All of this Mercury / Venus / Mars drama (which can be children, mother, father) is tied into the eclipse. For some, this means father accepts a new job or carreer which carries him far away. (We know this about military and Iraq, but this could be something a bit new or different.)

This, by itself, would be enough, but Tuesday the Moon predictably pulls Chiron (teachers, healers, healthcare, old wounds) into the fray as well as Neptune ( poetry, music, illness, alcohol & drugs, sometime “con-artists”). Illness will clearly be an issue, and we might see a significant “uptick” in the incidence and prevalence of the current strain.

If the Mars / violence issues involved a family alcoholic or drug addict, then Tuesday can be the turning point. I cannot say exactly WHAT KIND of turning point, but a turning point. For some, it will be devastating (possibly suicide). Others will get help and finally become “clean and sober.”

Energies shift again Wednesday, but that is a topic for another post.
